    Lunch Hibachi Chicken

Not bad, gets the job done when craving Japanese and needing something quick... and when I mean quick I can say that is one thing they had down pat. I walked in , placed and order and it was done in less than 10mins. I've never had mushrooms as part of the vegetables ... I was kinda expecting broccoli, zucchini, onions like most other places. Not a huge fan of the mushrooms but just ate around.

First of all they messed up the order on my husband's hibachi then put vegetables when I said no vegetables also IF YOU PAY EXTRA FOR THE "4 OZ" this is how the girl packaged it she obviously had no clue what she was doing or how to take a order OVER THE PHONE. NEVER GO HERE LAWNDALE IS THE BEST TOYKO EXPRESS.

Great Asian food at a great price. Give it a try. We use this as weekly take out for our Asian fix. By far the best in the area.

Don't sleep on the happy hour small plate options discounted and served 11am to 5pm everyday.Today I got spicy tuna volcano, half house salad and garlic shoo cabbage with half price sakes ( mom-thurs all day). So good!! Also highly recommend asking for their pick two or three meat lunch specials with salad and rice. Both are reasonably priced and delightful! This is the only Greensboro restaurant that is a chain out of Japan. When I was in Japan the exact Gyu-kaku has locations around Tokyo. Get that same experience here at home!!

Our server was super fast & brought out some ice cream when we told her it was one of our birthdays. The inside is really spacious and modern. Unfortunately the food was what let me down which is the most important part. Full disclosure though - I'm not the biggest fan of Japanese bbq because Its very meat centered & I don't eat a lot of meat so I will say this review is just for the appetizers. The person I went with had the Japanese bbq and while it wasn't the best they've had, they did enjoy it. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Japanese bbq, I really enjoy Asian food so I was excited to try other things on the menu. I ordered the pork gyoza and the cheese Rangoon. Pork gyoza is one of my favorite appetizers to get at Asian restaurants but these were just lacking flavor. They were really crispy but other than that, they were pretty bland. The cheese Rangoon was also really crispy which I love, but needed salt & other flavor. I was going to order the edamame too but after trying the other 2 appetizers, I wasn't feeling hopeful so I didn't. I would go back if someone wanted to but it's not a place I'd go out of my way to go to. They did have a pretty extensive menu so if I go back, I'll try a few other things.

It was the nastiest salad I have ever seen in all of my years, the steak was overcooked and cold, it tasted nothing filet m. Just because of that disgusting experience, I will never ever ever return to any KOBE restaurant. I don't think you should either. By the way, the salad was $12.50 and they didn't put my dressing in ha ha.

Hibachi restaurants around this area that offer noodles are few and far between so I was super excited to try this place out! We went here during lunch break from work, and there was no one else there, we placed our order and waited maybe 15 minutes for our food which was surprising, considering there was no one else there however, we were happy the food was fresh. The shrimp was cooked to perfection & delicious however, I must say the noodles were quite a letdown. They had minimal flavor, and not impressive. The staff was friendly. This would be the place that you would go if you just wanted to grab a quick bite, not a place to go on a first date, or to impress anyone, as it seemed a bit out dated. My fiancée's steak & rice was fine, but nothing to ride home about. Would definitely recommend checking out some different places in the area if you are wanting hibachi.
