The restaurant is small, with seating at the bar, around the sushi counter, and a handful of tables. The drinks were good, and the food was excellent quality at reasonable prices. Don't bother looking on their website for a menu like I did. The menu is handwritten daily and changes based on what's fresh and available. If you're not a fan of sushi, don't worry. They have a great selection of Yakitori for those looking for something different. My husband had the Beef Tongue, Pork Belly, and the Kurobuta (Berkshire pork) Sausage. He enjoyed all of them. The sausage was good, but it tasted like a fairly typical sausage and was on the smaller side. I had the Mango Kengo roll, which was very well done. The salmon was incredibly fresh. It was a little spicier than I prefer because of the Togarashi seasoning, which also seems to accompany many of the yakitori dishes. We also ordered the Ika Maruyaki (grilled squid). We both love squid, especially when it's prepared this way, but this dish just wasn't as good as we had hoped. We were both a little underwhelmed. The sushi and sashimi were beautifully sliced, incredibly fresh, and definitely high quality. I tried the Madai for the first time and really enjoyed it. The fluke was excellent, and the salmon was exactly what you'd expect from high quality salmon. I finally tried Uni as well. It was very fresh, but I learned it's just not for me. My favorite phase is the sushi. We STARTED that off with the most melty buttery otoro. I thought that was bold, surely it could only go downhill from there. I was proved wrong bite after bite!! Seriously, imagine a series of nigiri bites that hold their own after the BEST. Of the yakitori, the chicken meatballs were my fave, so juicy never change. I had started telling my wife "I can't believe something can taste this good!" The only other place in Toledo I would have something about which I would say this about was Souk. So I stopped coming in so often, but still once in a while in the hopes that they would go back to how they used to make it. They had one person making sushi, one making the rest of the meals (she was very slow and not in a hurry for anything) and one taking orders.
