Came for lunch today with my husband and daughter. All 3 of us were highly disappointed. The fried soft shell crabs appetizer was burnt on one side. Hubby and I both ordered the steak and shrimp combination, and our daughter ordered steak fried rice . The waitress brought my daughters food out ,and didn't bring ours out til 30 minutes later. Of course by this time she had already finished eating her meal. Not once were we offered a refill on our tea, and yes our glasses were empty. You'd think they would've apologized for not having the dishes brought out together, or offered a discount but they didn't. Spent $80 for a horrible dining experience, and will not be back! read more

These positive reviews HAVE to be fake or left by people associated with the restaurant. Sadly, I've eaten here about ten times since moving to picayune because there are no other sushi restaurants around, but I won't be anymore. Their $13-15 "special" rolls are TINY compared to every other sushi restaurant in existence, are basically equivalent in size and fillings to a normal sushi restaurant's $5 hand rolls, and have more rice than anything else. And they keep shrinking more and more as time goes on. Also, it must have required special training to teach them how to cut avocado slices literally less than paper thin. May as well not even put avocado on.. I feel like I got robbed every time I eat there and it just gets worse over time. The picture you see is TWO Hawaiian special rolls. ($30) just insane. The regular rolls basically have nothing in them. Go to Slidell for sushi, you'll get twice as much food for the same $30 read more

For a good Yuk Yuck. The Tempura was previously frozen! The sushi rolls were pre rolled with mostly rice and a little slice of avocado topped with a food processed mash of what-nots and mystery bits. The owners are not Japanese and while I understand most Japanese restaurants are not owned by the Japanese this place had no idea what I was trying to order. It's the only sushi place in Picayune. The reason I give it only two stars is, the lunch version of sushi is a VERY poor value. The size of the rolls are microscopic and barely filled with anything. The service is very slow. If you want sushi and don't want to go to Slidell, you can get it here, but go at dinner so you get normal sized sushi. read more

This place is okay if you've never eaten outside of Picayune, MS. We went for dinner and the food was good but way over priced for the portions. We were expecting fantastic sushi and we've had better at Claiborne Hill supermarket. The service isn't very good bc there is only one waitress. A boy waited our table, who was about 10 years old. Although he did a good job for a child, it was rather unprofessional to have a child waiting tables. It wasn't horrible but we will be going to Slidell for that type of food from now on. read more

Very disappointing. Our greeting wasn't welcoming. That alone made me uncomfortable, and almost walk out. We were served a barely cool beer. So I asked for a frozen mug, and received a room temperature one. There was a language issue, and clarification didn't seem to matter. The seafood in the sushi wasn't that cold. (It tasted good though.) The Miso soup wasn't Miso soup. It tasted just like the broth in Wonton soup. The Pad Tai wasn't Pad Tai. It was missing oyster sauce, fish sauce, tamarind paste, lime, and peanuts. When I spoke to the owner about my meal, she said they don't put certain things in their dishes due to many of the customers not liking it. (Does that mean the majority of diners around here require certain cuisine altered to such an extent that the chefs just automatically serve it that way?) What a disgrace! I've never experienced anything like this. The local reviews of restaurants in this town can't be trusted. read more
