This place is "temporarily" closed...a piece of paper on the door states this. That's the only indication that this shop is not open. Looks like the county or City is trying to shut it down. I don't know why... it's a novelty shop and nothing illegal about that. But I didn't get to see any of the products they had... Neither the website nor the Yelp listing show it as CLOSED. Drove there wasting gas and time. 2 stars for the paper sign outside on the door just so we knew why we couldn't get in. read more

My partner and I visited the store again. For this review to make sense, I recommend reading my previous reviews regarding this location: You can see on my profile that I never complain on Yelp, I use this app to bolster up amazing locations and recommend delicious meals to people. So let that speak to how weird this whole interaction with Tokyo Valentino has been. This time at the store the employees had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned a conversation regarding the store's bag policy (that they were supposed to have had already with the managers). The employees even buckled down and insisted I was wrong and women's purses are always taken, contrary to what I was told by PR and the manager. I didn't want to cause a fuss, so I just shut up and purchased what me and my partner have been trying to purchase for over a week now. We spent $210, the gift card we were given didn't end up working at this location, only the location on Cheshire. I honestly give up, I don't know how to feel about this place anymore. I don't want to talk to management again, I don't want to go back, we bought what we wanted and that's that. Go, don't go, I have no recommendations except: don't bring a purse. I usually always come and shop here for cute outfits and shoes, but last time I went. The attendant asked that we hand our small purses over. I felt a little uncomfortable and she asked my male friend (who is black) to empty his pockets as we were leaving. I regret buying anything that day after that experience and have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. It's a shame because I usually LOVE coming to Tokyo Valentino. read more

Love, love, love this store. The employees are always cheerful and ready to help me find what I'm looking for or answer any questions I may have about their products. Store is well lit, clean, organized, and always well stocked. Frankly I can't imagine anyone not being happy with their experience shopping at this location. Must be real divas to have to find fault with hard working staff and tons of merchandise. Love the rewards system too. Hoping the store will reopen very soon. When it does we should have a party. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The service was unheard of! Sad enough I dont even think they cared. The guy and girl employees were the worst I've ever experienced! First of all as we walked through the door there was no hello or any sort of greeting for that matter. Then as we asked for help they sat behind the desk, talking about a middle aged guy on their phones, and pointed and refused to look up. I looked for lube and couldn't find it so I asked and the guy employee and all he did was point. This was not like any other Tokyo Valentino experience I've ever experienced!!! Do not come here! The white guy with the hickey on his neck was the worst of the two and had no knowledge of the item I inquired! Came here to buy a gift for bachelorette's party. Store closes at 2am so it's great for a last minute gift. It's a pretty clean store. Things are organized and neatly stacked. You have to be 18 and up to enter the store. They will check IDs. Girl at the counter was nice and helpful. Overall it's a pretty cool place. read more

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I recently just turned 18, and wanted to try buying a sex toy. I decided to go here, not really knowing what to expect. I walk in the store, and directly go to show the only employee there my ID so there are no problems. I have to say that the worker there was the nicest guy ever. I was so nervous going in there, and this guy made me feel comfortable there. He was so helpful; he even helped me decide on which toy to get which was a vibrating p-spot toy. Granted, they are pretty new, and don't have the most merchandise there, but they completely make up for that with their exceptional customer service. The guy even told me that they will be adding a lot more merchandise in their store. I HIGHLY recommend checking out this awesome goldmine of a store.
