6 months ago I ordered delivery and was missing a burger. They wouldn't give refund-I had to give my name and remember to ask for a free burger the next time I ordered which of course I forgot to do because I don't got to Tom & Jerry's much. I did order again 3 months later online-this time I was missing a large onion ring. Same thing-no refund/give name. So I tried it one last time, I ordered online but called and asked them to put my free onion rings in the order which they did! But this time, they forgot to give me 3 shakes and the side of cheese. When I called the manager insisted she gave the driver the shakes and I was out $20 and I was told I was responsible for calling Chow Now who they partner with for delivery to try to get my refund. Service is Terrible we ordered 2 Gyros through the Drive through. Waited 37 minutes before they brought them out. Got home opened them and no Tomatoes. Called and they said we charge extra for Tomatoes. Young Girl Pretending To Be The Manager hung up on me when I asked for a refund. My wife and I have been going to there Restaurants for 14 yrs . Pains me to write this, but Tom and Jerry's choice to no longer accept phone orders for delivery is a huge mistake. ChowNow is a terrible service, inflates the delivery fee, and puts an additional buffer between establishment and customer when orders go bad. No way I'm relying on that. This effectively makes Tom and Jerry's a dine-in, or drive thru only option for me. As previously explained, their drive thru service is notably slow, and dine in is borderline flat fast food. I won't do third party apps for this kind of restaurant. While I've been a reasonable fan of the food for over 10 years, it was the "delivery service" that made Tom and Jerry's more special. In my disappointed opinion, they just given more rise to competition. read more

Not sure why the ratings on this place are so low. The food slaps whenever I have been here. It seems like most of the one stars are people complaining about not being pampered at a fast food restaurant or didn't know what they were ordering and has nothing to do with the food itself. Saw the low reviews here and was like "Whaa?" Been eating here for YEARS. Never had a bad meal. My favorite is the Greek chicken wrap. Once in a while get a Chicago style hot dog. I usually go thru drive thru, but dining in is clean. I like their outdoor patio. Crinkle fries are really tasty, like Culver's but more potato. Huge serving size. Overall, I notice a very consistent level of quality. Never had a bad plate of food, many reviews I read are not parallel with my experience. Drive thru is a little slow, but worth the wait for fresh food, they staple the paper bags closed with a stapler which I wish they didn't do that, LOL. Just fold it guys. read more

They refused to answer. I had to place a 2nd order for half of my crew to subway because they couldn't get it right . Do not patronize this Tom and Jerry's location. All they are concerned with is building new restaurants and making more money. What they should be doing is taking care of existing customers that have been going there for years. The older lady manager (she wouldn't give me her name) was rude and refused to make my order correctly, the way I ordered it. You have to order online now and there is a space for special notes. Went back here the other day after a long absence. Was I surprised! My old complaint was they had reduced portions of meat on their gyros and Italian beefs. They have now changed that. They now offer KING gyros, beefs and fries. These are the way they used to load up every sandwich that they made. I will say prizes have risen but who hasn't post Covid. Food was delicious. We ordered king gyros, king beef, ribs and fries. Everything was great and everyone enjoyed their meals. read more

My wife went to Tom & Jerry in loves park off of riverside & ordered the 9 price chicken wing meal. The chicken wings were so salty that it made her blood pressure go up. If you have high blood pressure don't order the wings because of the salt content. read more

Placed an order online for delivery. Order was delivered but double hamburger was delivered as a single cheeseburger. Called restaurant and they said i could have a refund or have the right burger made even though i would have to pay the delivery fee again to have it delivered. then as i was about to leave, tom and jerrys called us back and said we needed to bring the wrong order back. 7/11/21 tried to eat lunch here. We don't mind waiting if the food is hot and good. We are in the parking lot, waited 25 minutes for ice cold fries, a chicken pita which was saturated with yucky lettuce a swamp of Mayo, tough dry chicken and a green tomato slice. My husband had a cheeseburger which he specified no Mayo and was swimming in it. The guy taking the order sounded like he had a mouthful of marbles. I've been here a few times and every time you end up waiting 15+ minutes in the drive through even if your the only car. You can always count on them messing up your order, or something just missing from it. Mine today had tomatoes and onions which i asked for NONE. Clearly, they understood. The food is really hit or miss. As tasty as the food is, it seems there is always something missing in our orders. Whether it's a missing burger, an order of fries or a gyro, something is usually missing. We tend to overlook it and just blow it off to them being busy. Unfortunately there was only 1 car behind us and no patrons inside the restaurant so the fact that both our Gyro salads, were "gyro" less, were kind of a headscratcher. We were charged for a gyro salad but got no gyro meat on each, not just one salad but both. We normally try and check our orders before we head out but they staple the bags and are usually in a hurry to move you along. Guys, please get your act straight. You have delicious food and loyal customers who keep coming back regardless of these mistakes. read more

I love Tom and Jerry, been going to this one for a while now. The staff is always nice ad courtesy to me. If I have any questions they are happy to answer them. The food is made to order and they are usually pretty fast about getting the food up. Usually I either get a grilled chicken on a regular bun or breaded, both are great! I wouldn't recommend getting it on a pita bread though because the last one I had, had way too much lettuce. Their meatball sub is pretty good as well. It's a little messy, but the flavor is great. The meatball is seasoned well and the cheese is melted just right everything! I recently got the meatball sub with no fries, but mozzarella sticks subbed in and it was under $10. read more

Beat my expectations. The reviews on here made it sound like this place was terrible. I'm from Chicago and I was surprised that they had Gyros. Got one and a single bacon cheeseburger. The gyro was surprisingly good. I wouldn't say that it's the best gyro that I've ever had, but for Rockford it was pretty good. The burger was slightly above average. It had ketchup and mustard on it. Usually know a burger is gonna be average when they have a bunch condiments on them. I would recommend this place for the Gyro. read more

I'm not super impressed. Had the Italian beef meal. The Italian beef was lacking flavor but abundant in salt. The au jus (sp?) was salty as well with little flavor. It's hard for me to feel good about a place when the Italian beef lacks flavor. It's Italian beef, you cook it in seasoned water, and it's not like it was under salted. Staff is getting worse at this location. They seem more interested in talking in the back of the kitchen then taking care of the customer's orders. Ordered the steak fajita on a pita for dine-in and it took forever to call our name. We come here a lot, but the product and service is in decline and we will not be coming here as often and possibly not all in the future. The steak was very thin, dry and not a good portion size. The manager did make a rotation through the seating area to ask about everyone's experience, but if he does not manage the back of the house he is just making useless rounds. His time would be better served ensuring the food is properly prepared when served. Make food like you are paying for it because poor service and product will reduce your customer base. read more

The sign on the door snd window of this restaurant says family size wings are $21.99 but when I ordered it, the price was $24.99. As I pulled up to the drivein window I asked why they had two different prices for wings. Young kid did. It know as he "just started a few weeks ago". I asked him to ask a manager or another coworker about it snd she told him they haven't changed the old signs and the price is higher now. That's false advertising. Meh. Used to be my favorite place to go to get an Italian beef sandwich and cheese fries. Now the meat tastes different. My kids ordered corn dog and the last 3 times it was frozen in the middle as in the hotdog was froze but the batter was hot. Cheese fries still DELICIOUS!! read more
