I understand things come up, but the lack of reliability was disappointing. I ultimately had to move forward with another company. **Update: After the owner's response, I went back and reviewed our messages and he's correct that there were two reschedules, not four. I appreciate the clarification and understand that one of the cancellations was due to a family emergency. Hope all is well with your mother. That said... scheduling delays, limited availability and multiple reschedules still impacted my timeline and planning, which ultimately led me to move forward with another company. I understand that unexpected situations come up, but reliability and consistency are important factors when choosing a service. Sharing this for transparency so others can make an informed decision.

A long overdue review for CustomBuilt-Ins…read more We can't thank Doug and Eric enough for everything they did for us. We had a water leak in our kitchen Memorial Day of 2025. Repipe complete, then the builder came in. The project was to replace the island, lower cabinets of one wall, and repaint the kitchen. They took our check and started. Then virtually no progress in June, July, August, September, and October. I eventually drove to their shop to get my cabinets as they were unable to return them. We reached out to Doug at the beginning of November and he said they could help us out. They custom built and installed our island. They rebuilt our custom kitchen cabinets, and finished the kitchen painting. We were asking them to come in and finish a project that they had no history or familiarity with what we wanted, right before Thanksgiving. Doug and Eric spent time talking and working with us so we were all on the same page. Schedules made, notification messages of arrivals, and we always had a clear understanding of what will be done each day.
