We wanted new countertops in our kitchen. Someone recommended Inland Counter Tops. We called them and within a few days they came to our house to talk to us about the job and show us samples. Matt, the office, and the crew were great to work with. When the job was finished Matt told us that they only needed 2 slabs of granite instead of the 3 that he had estimated which reduced our bill by thousands of dollars. How honest was that?! They were contracted by Lowe's for my kitchen countertops. I give them 1 star for showing up on time. My biggest complaint is the seam where the 2 countertops meet is uneven. Picture attached. I asked them to come out an fix it, but the only solution was to grind down the unevenness and be left with possible marks on the countertop. The 'fixer' couldn't guarantee it would be completely smooth in the first place. I declined the service because the outcome might be worse than the seam. I can't believe the original installer would consider this a job-well-done. I'm completely disappointed as I spent THOUSANDS of dollars for crappy workmanship. read more

Dealing with contractors can be a nightmare: late, no shows, filthy work area, shoddy work, zero follow through... When I call I call Inland Countertops I know I will have NONE of that! I've been using ICT since its inception. I met James Yost when he was installing my kitchen when he worked at another company in 1988! I have used them on 20+ jobs over the years, always professional and always perfect. Great price for the exceptional quality. They have done the normal kitchen & bath projects for me but also interesting things such as: wall height splashes that wrap into the windows, desks, bars, pony walls and posts, etc. They love challenges. Inland Counter Tops is the ONLY company that I would use to create and install any solid surface. If your kitchen or bath is of standard size and layout you will have to sub contract with them via Lowes or Home Depot. If in the Fontana area I suggest Lowe's and here is why. Different solid surfaces have different installers. Alberto at Lowe's Fontana knows the surfaces that contract with Inland counter tops. You may decide you prefer the look of one of the other counter tops, get over it or make a big mistake. Block Tops, Sage Solutions and anyone other than Inland Counter Tops will suck. Do a search of reviews for Block Top and Sage Solutions and you can thank me with cash or gift cards. I started with Block Top via Home Depot. They are pure crap but I got my money back before they started by contacting the issuer of the credit card used. Two important things to know. 1. You can dispute/stop payment as long as the work has not been started. 2. Home Depot will do nothing to help. The work performed by Inland Counter Top was Amazing! They are clean, efficient and the end product is perfect. The installers Beto and Paco are great. To recap, Lowes, Alberto, Inland Counter Top or learn to enjoy disappointment. Inland was also the best price after the drunk guy who could not find my house, on a major street, a few blocks away. Had numerous conversations with Matt and got quotes for the job which was basically fabrication and installation of all new quartz counters up in Big Bear Lake. Pricing was competitive and they seemed to be experts in quartz installation for sure. Matt was super accessible and answered all my questions. I am sure the job would have been installed just beautifully if we had hired them to do the work. It's hard to find good contractors willing to come up to Big Bear so I was happy I found them. The only reason we did not hire them was because we were in a big hurry and another company was able to complete the job faster (same price). Gorgeous work! Every member of the team, from measurer to office to installers, was professional, clean, fast, polite and made everything very easy and pleasant. Prompt initial measuring and template creating. Then a short delay getting all the Dekton slabs we needed, but they kept in contact with us to keep us apprised. Jesus was the head installer, and he was meticulous and perfectionistic about every little detail of edges, seams, clean-up, everything! The entire installation took only 2 short days, including demolition, counters, backsplashes, sink, faucets and plumbing. Dekton is usually very expensive, but we got 3 slabs on sale through Lowes and they arranged the install with Inland Counter Tops for the same price as quartz which is always less expensive. So every detail of this was amazingly easy and we couldn't be more thrilled! read more

Broke my side window while installing counter tops, informed them right away but never responded with evaluation.These people should be put out of business doing scandalous business like this. They were really nice, did a good job, and cleaned up afterwards. The issue i had was my damaged wood floor which i noticed after all was said and done and i was washing the floor a few days later. They would not contact me, refused to come out and look at it, and came up with bogus excuses. Up to that point it was a good experience. home depot sent inland counter tops to install the granite in my house. Their employee showed up late and immediately asked me how much I paid for the cabinets and counters, he said I paid too much! right off the bat terrible customer relations. He drilled a soap dispenser in the wrong spot and I had to customize, Then his drill bit exploded leaving burn marks all over my guest bathroom drawers and cabinet, I called the company they said oh we will investigate and make this right, they sent someone out and collected the broken bit pieces and never made good on their promise, now I'm left with burn marks all over my new cabinet to remember them by. They also charged me for a sink install that they never did after I asked to take that off the bill. Also the initial measurement guy that showed up put his equipment case on the brand new floors in an area that wasn't protected by construction paper, when he went to grab it he swung it up fast scratching the expensive bamboo floor. setting tools down on a new construction floor specifically in an area that wasn't protected?
