I reached out to him on yelp for couple portraits and he promptly responded with his availability, suggestions and inputs. He immediately understood the aesthetic I was looking for when I said I want some portraits at the beach during sunset. He was watchful of weather and set clear expectations of how photos may turn out if weather is not in favor. He suggested an alternate location where the golden hour views would be picture perfect. We hired Derek to provide a photo booth for our organization's annual appreciation dinner. We have never had anything like this before but wanted something fun for our members to do during cocktail hour and we were not disappointed. Derek was very responsive to our emails and worked with us to create a custom design for the photo template. He was on time to set up and ready to go when our guests arrived. His props were clean and updated... nothing dirty or torn like I have seen before with another vendor. They made sure the table was always tidy and organized after each group took photos. I was so impressed with him during our email and phone calls I decided to hire him for my 50th Birthday Party the following week. Like at the work event, he was on time and very responsive to any requests. I even ordered the custom wood photo album and it is beautiful. Derek's wife, Jade was at the table making sure my guests put a picture in my book and wrote me a little note. They are a lovely team and worked hard at both events to provide an excellent product for our guests. Derek also does regular photography and video. I can only imagine how fabulous he is at that. I wish I had hired him to take photos at my party ‍ His prices were very competitive and I honestly feel he gives you the most for your money. I did call a couple other companies and they were both more expensive and not as responsive.
