Virginia is the real deal! Trust me when I say this is the best decision I made in preparing for…read morethe NCLEX. I wasted a LOT of money on extra resources that didn't help me understand HOW to answer the questions. She showed me how to read the question, understand what the question was asking, and how to answer it correctly. I went into my NCLEX with confidence and walked out a RN!! My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner! If you're on the fence about hiring a tutor, please think of it as an investment in YOU, and you're worth that, right?

Virginia is awesome for nursing students. At first I was kind of skeptical about paying for a…read moretutor when there are so many resources at the school that I can use and obviously paid for with my tuition. But then I thought it's an investment and how is paying for a tutor any different from paying for those ridiculously over priced books that I'm honestly never going to open again after nursing school. One thing about Virginia is that she offers lifelong techniques that can always be used. Not only does she tutor but she also offers "easy" non time consuming studying techniques and real tips on how to take and pass a test. She even gave us a practice test to show us how we may have been previously making mistakes which my have caused us an extra point. Her tutoring style is well structured and easily flows vs those (IMO) choppy all over the place lectures. I feel like I learned more in her 4 hour session than I did in the first 4 weeks of class. One of the things she said when we started the session was, if you follow her study techniques you can get a high B or A. At this point I'm thinking, yeah right, really, how? But make no mistake, with that statement that means that she's going to lay the foundation but YOU, yes, YOU, have to actually put in the work. She is awesome but please don't think that you'll just go to her session and that's where things will end and you'll pass. ABSOLUTELY NOT. Nursing school is hard so you still have to do your part. I have heard so many horror stories about med-surg and was so anxious at the start of this semester but after meeting with Virginia I feel so much more at ease. Needles to say on my first med-surg exam I got a 85.53%. Also note that this is my highest nursing school exam grade so far and my first time going to a tutor. Next up, the dosage exam. See you in 2 weeks Virginia:)

This place was so great for renting my son's violin. They had a promotion for $20 for 3 months…read more Then the price increases per month but the opening promotion is a great deal to see if my son likes the violin. They also have all the music books available for purchase. You can tell them what school your child is in and they will pretty much take care of the rest.

I purchased a very inexpensive 3/4 scale bass guitar as a gift (along with a much more expensive…read moreguitar), and I even received a brand new model still in the box. The recipient preferred a different color, and Mike - the owner himself - refused to exchange it for a different one, despite the fact that it has been purchased within the last two weeks, was unplayed, and still in the box. You would have lost absolutely nothing to exchange a $200 bronco bass for another color, but now you've lost my business entirely. You can buy a guitar ANYWHERE (like Bill's, Guitar Center, even Music & Arts) - don't give your business to someone who can't honor one of the simplest and most common requests in retail. Edit to respond to the comment: I called, spoke to an employee who took my information down and said he had to ask you, Mike. An entire WEEK later, this kid calls me back and explains that you refused to honor the exchange. So you're right, you haven't even taken the time to speak to me yourself. The situation didn't escalate until you waited a week to tell someone else to tell me "no".
