Stumbled upon this place on the way to the mall. It's got some cute asian pastries and drinks inside as well. I ordered the horchata latte. So good! Hubby got the strawberry shake. Also good! I tried the fish shaped pastry which I enjoyed but hubby didn't so much. (Texture thing. Super chewy). The Hawaiian pretzel was so so so good. However, it didn't look or taste like a real pretzel. I think the name is just from the look of it so don't be mislead. I also had the breakfast sandwich which was super good too! Both food items served super hot! Great service. We had hockey at Farmers Branch and wanted some quick coffee that wasn't a big chain. When searching on Maps close by, Tom and Toms came up. It does seem to be a knock off of Starbucks, even the logo. I felt the coffee was better. It was just one lady working. She was kind and understood that we were in a bit of a hurry. One of my problems I'm encountering with cafes is either their small size or wifi issues...not here! I love this place. It's very brightly lit with a lot of seating and outlets. The staff is really nice. I ended up on the phone, crying while eating the TomnDog, over my essay and no one bothered me or asked me if I was ok, that's good customer service. It's also so far not super loud, just nice ambiance. The music fits with their comfortable cafe theme. I liked the cold Rose Latte. It tasted like coffee and not overwhelmingly like roses. It was light and perfect infusion of roses and not too sweet. Highly recommend! read more

All the problems I had with the Carrollton location has been solved by this new location. Outlets at every table? Check. Natural light? Check. Stable wi-fi? Check. The coffee and food here is great as always. I got the dalgona latte, which I would recommend to everyone, especially if you like lattes that aren't overly sweet. My friend got the mocha and it just tasted like chocolate milk (which could be a pro or con for you). Plenty of seating here with an outlet at each table basically. I'll definitely be visiting here more often, it's the perfect place to study and the environment here makes me feel more productive! read more

I absolutely loved this Tom N Toms! After visiting the Carrollton location, I saw that they had one at the Harry Hines area, so I decided to check it out considering I had some work to get done. This location seems newer as the building is modern and it's located inside what seems to be like a pretty dead business plaza. I went around 1pm on a Sunday afternoon and I was one of the two people there -- already much better since the Carrollton location is always busy. My usual go-to at Tom N Toms is a frozen yogurt smoothie, but I decided to opt for an iced americano to be a little healthy. What's nice about this location is that there are outlets on every table, and it's extremely spacious (not as spacious as Carrollton but it's not as busy..) and it just overall seems like it's the better location. Iced americano was decent. I thoroughly enjoyed -- I will say I wanted to give this place 5 stars, but I'm docking one star (and it's honestly more of a 4.5) because the floors and tables were a tad bit dirty. If I return and see improvements, I'll definitely up a star. I'm so glad Tom N Toms is in Dallas -- it's one of my favorite Korean cafes here in DFW for sure! read more

If you need to get some work done or just want to catch up with friends, this is a great place! There are lots of tables and places to work, study, or chat. The Wi-Fi is free. The drink and food was good. I tried the rose latte and croissant breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was pretty basic so I would recommend trying something different. My only compliant is that the music there is SOOO LOUD. I had to put in headphones to help me focus but other than that I would still come back! read more

Spent a day working from Tom n Toms Coffee last week while my teenage son was attending an event at ICR just down the street. My first time visiting. Nearly a 5-star experience and recommended, especially as a remote work spot. I was a little taken aback by the non-traditional smell when first entering. Turns out they serve Asian food in addition to coffee and that seemed to be the stronger odor. However, it wasn't problematic and quickly you don't notice it anyhow. Service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed a specialty coffee drink and also grabbed a bottled water. A little pricier than an equivalent drink at Starbucks. I didn't try their food during my visit This location is spacious with ample, uncrowded space to work from tables, booths and counters. Importantly for the laptop set like myself plenty of outlets! Another major plus compared to Starbucks or other coffee shops & eateries is the place was relatively quiet. Music volume was low and pleasant, not overpowering where you can't have a phone conversation. Only reason for a 4-star rather than 5-star review was the cleaning wasn't up to par, particularly in the bathroom. Not filthy. Yet clearly not thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis. Also had to wipe my own booth table clean. Simple additional attention to this area by the staff and should be a 5-star experience. read more

As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I am always looking for the latest and greatest in coffee shops. I need the fuel to get through my busy days you know!! So I ventured on over to this eclectic part of town for some java. The space is VERY new and under lots of renovation but there is plenty of seating inside if you are working with your laptop during the day. The menu is full of lots of yummy items like their HORCHATA LATTE with almond milk! Oh my you must try this. Exact milk choice and all. You will be asking for seconds! Their pastries are wonderful and light, there's also mini pizzas and sandwiches if you are craving a bite. I loved the variety on the menu. It was definitely something that I was not expecting. The coffee shop is Korean owned so they even had some Korean foods on the menu I wasn't familiar with! But I was intrigued. I really felt cozy in this spot and if I wasn't in a hurry to pick up my out of town guests I would have stayed much longer. Cannot wait for my next visit. read more

Very clean and beautifully designed ambiance. I tried the Latte with oatmeal milk with a croissant sandwich. The coffee was excellent. I less than impressed by the croissant sandwich. Service was extremely slow. We stood in line for 20+ minutes and spent at least $40+ for drinks for 6 people. We were dying from the Texas heat so we asked if we could have cups of waters for each of us and they told us 1 cup of water per order? Well then what's the difference if we each paid seperately than together? We saved them the headache by ordering togther. In addition, after spending so much money on sugar water you would think they could give us cups of water in 108 degree heat after spending $40+? I ordered the pomegranate tea and it tasted like syrup. In terms of the coffee, it was fine. The bathrooms were disgusting and the only other stall was out of order. There is a ton of signage threatening to kick people out if they share the WI-FI password. They are not consumer friendly at all. It seemed like they were extremely understaffed and maybe that's why my experience was less than favorable. Overall, they seemed overwhelmed and maybe that's why they were so rude and the drinks subpar? I wouldn't come here if you were in a rush though. The signage in the restaurant is very distracting as well. read more

I'm not from around here and after all the poor Starbucks reviews I decided to go local. Tom Toms is an amazing little coffee oasis! Don't judge by the outside of the building, it's an up and coming area. The inside of the coffee shop is clean, inviting, and the staff is friendly. The coffee is especially delicious. I also had their turkey croissant sandwich. The sandwich was fresh and yummy. They have WiFi and I was able to hang out and do my work. Just make sure your gear is charged. They have outlets but not everywhere. There is lots of seating and they play chill trendy study appropriate music. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely come back!
