Attended a wedding and decided to go to the coffee shop/bar. Ordered 2 Bloody mary's. The 3 employees had to look up what a bloody mary was. After 15 minutes they finally figured it out. One of the worst cocktails I have ever had. Later a friend and I wanted a glass of wine. I ordered white and he ordered red. I got an iced pumpkin spice latte and even with lots of sweetener added after the fact I could barely taste the flavor and sweetness. My husband's coffee was kind of bland as well. I believe this is an AAPI owned business and I really wish the best for them! If people love it they love it and I support that! Just wanted to share that if you are used to balanced or more sweet drinks from places like Merit coffee or Avocado this is not like that. I visited closer to closing time on a random week day evening. I was looking for somewhere to study and at the time it was pretty empty so perfect for studying. Peridot Coffee is a nice little shop with plenty of space, plenty of space and lots of options for coffee My family and I went to check it out after lunch. I went with the classic milk which was Superbly satisfying! My Dad got the cold brew which was pretty good and strong. I ended up mixing it with a bit of the milk tea which I highly recommend! Overall a cute shop with plenty of seating. I recently visited Dallas for the first time and Peridot Coffee was the first coffee shop I found while looking around the area I was staying. Saw some good reviews and decided to try it out. My wife and I tried the Korean Iced coffee and the hot Thai Tea. While the Thai Tea didn't stick out too much (but it was still good), we immediately fell in love with the Korean Iced Coffee. It's very reminiscent of Vietnamese iced coffee in terms of flavor, but much lighter and less sweet. It manages to taste like it's both heavy and light in milk and has pleasant lightly sweet aftertaste. 100% must-try upon visiting. It was so good, that even though our trip was only a few days, I went out of my way to go back to Peridot one more time before flying out! I have to say, I love the vibe of this place. My wife and I had to get some work done and the environment was also pleasant to work in. It was quiet with light orchestral music playing in the background, then switched to some music by the Korean Youtube cover artist J. Fla. The shop definitely feels homey and it's a perfect place to study/work. Overall, I'm pleased with my visits and will be coming back whenever I'm back in Dallas area! read more

I ordered a green tea latte (my fav) and it was perfect temperature and hot. There isn't a huge snack selection, just muffins and cookies. The muffins are large and can be heated up. The decor is a little dark but plenty of seating and lots of windows so it's natural bright light coming in. The next time I'm in the area, I will definitely grab a spot here! read more

Apparently, the barista here learned all his coffee knowledge from Europe! I love it here! I definitely judged from the outside but I gave it a shot. My boyfriend has been here before and told me he loved it so we went to together. The man behind the counter is super sweet. He takes his time making the drinks and coffee comes out tasting amazing! Usually, Americano tastes the same everywhere to me but at Peridot their Americano taste super good! I love it here! I did try the green tea latte and it was a little too sweet b/c too much powder was put in. I definitely want to come back and try the Flat green tea latte? It looks really yummy!
