After an adventurous meal, it's only right to follow up with something sweet. I've you enter you're immediately inundated with the sweet smell of fresh bread and delicious sweets. Service was..... ehhh The ladies were polite enough but feigned no interest in the customers . I bought two blueberry muffins, and a strawberry soft cake which was divine!!! I loved the aesthetics, a giant long wood table was elegant. We sat, ate, and probably joked and talked well over an hour without making any further purchases. The tiramisu was good. The black milk tea latte (regular sugar) was good, but service was very slow. They took 10-15 min to make it and I was the last of my 15 people group to get my drink. They ran out of boba since we came late at night, but for the time it took for them to make my drink, they definitely could have boiled some boba. Came in for dessert on a Saturday night and it was pretty quiet. I forget what flavor we got, just remember it came with red bean, mochi, almond slices and vanilla ice cream. I got to say there was a lot of toppings, but it wasn't the shaved ice we had hope for. The ice was pretty much blended and not flavored. If it wasn't for the topping I don't know how we'd eaten this because the ice was flavorless with no syrup or anything drizzled over it. Because it wasn't busy service was fast. There's also a bakery that didn't have too many buns left over for choosing so I guess that's a hot sell during the day? It was nice and quiet given only 4-5 other booths been occupied. The dry section has even more goodies... melon bread, chocolate bread, meat filled bread, and just all the breads, muffins, more cakes like pound and sponge varieties, almond tuile, rolls, cookies, croissants... What I keep getting? A large peach pineapple smoothie *drools* and I recently cheated on my diet and got a sausage croquette. Pretty sure they sprinkle this amazing dust on top with a nice scribble of ketchup on top. It's really really really good! The muffins I believe were regular sponge and when I say they were magnificent. Super moist and buttery, awesome snack! Milk Tea was good. Purchased a red velvet cake for my sisters birthday, later that evening we opened it and as we were eating it, we could tell that the cake was old, the icing was sour and tasted medicinal and the cake was dry as if it had been sitting for numerous days. Terrible. Imagine the disappointment you feel buying someone a cake for a birthday they'd rather forget because they are having a really tough time. The cake was the only thing I could manage to get her to say she wanted and to eat it and it be gross was a total disappointment. Although, I have been to a few Asian style bakery this is the first one where I have fully indulged and sampled a number of items. From the items that I tried I was pleased (although it was nothing extraordinary) and the bakery had a nice, clean set up. Between myself and my hot date ;) we purchased about five items; the have a large variety, which is great. What I appreciated about most of the items is that they were not too sweet, but there were some American style pastries if you want that iconic sweetness. I had a Red Bean and Cream pastry and a Walnut Tart. The pastry was unique and very creamy, not at all heavy. The tart was a little more sweet and it had a very nice crust to it. When you first enter the establishment there is a small, cute market style set up with pastries to the left and seating to the right. Further in at the checkout counter they have ice cream and the refrigerated sweets. The set up is very clean and nice; and rather large for a bakery. All in all, it was good; nothing to write home about but l nice experience that I would indulge in again. read more

Upon entering you walk right into their baked goods, which leads to their dessert display. You order at the counter, pay for your desert/coffee, and retire to a number of tables and/or booths. It is very well decorated. 1 Star. Service - The workers are very friendly. The only give away that the place is owned by Koreans is that all the staff are Korean. Service is fast and tables are always clean. No complains here. 1 Star. Food - I come here for the dessert; however, not all are great. The cream puffs and macaroons are as good as any French bakery. But some of their cakes are a bit on the dry and thick side. Their mango mouse is really good most of the time, but there have been some inconsistencies. Also, their coffee is good, but not great. I also got a mochi ball with red bean paste and it was way too gooey and not enough filling. Mozart has amazing bakery but for some reasons I can never come to like their drinks. Whether its coffee, tea or fruity drinks. This time I went, I think it was the owner that took my order. I ordered a Milk Tea with Boba. Usually that drink comes with boba so I'm not sure why she CHARGED ME for BOBA. She charged me an extra fifty cents! I thought that was ridiculous. The drink did taste okay but it had a little too much powder. My friend ordered a peach green tea and it just tasted like peach syrup on ice. TOO MUCH SYRUP! They used to make it really good but I don't know what happened. So later after she drank it about a third of it, she filled it with water to water it down a little. read more

Each bite was just as crispy as the last and it had a very nice helping of filling. It also had potatoes in the filling. The sweet one was a flaky croissant filled with fresh strawberries and delicious cream. I'd happily get both in a heartbeat! I do find their drinks to be overpriced, but if you're wanting to linger and catch up with a friend, I'd say the high price for a drink is worth it. To my friends and I, getting a cake from Mozart means getting a high-quality, delicious cake - one that's beyond grocery-store level (no offense to Kroger and Walmart). There are multiple Mozart locations in the Dallas area, and we went to the one closest to us to get the cake. Thankfully, you don't normally have to reserve a cake ahead of time. From experience, Mozart has had available cakes... even on holidays though the options get a bit more limited. In addition to cakes, Mozart also has pastries and drinks, including boba, coffee, and tea. We surprised the birthday boy with the chocolate cake, and he loved it! I personally thought the cake was good but not the best chocolate cake I've ever had. It was moist, soft, and creamy but not rich like the way I like my chocolate cakes. Sometimes, they even give out free bread before they close! The Mango Smoothies here are fruitalicious! For something so good you'd think I'd savor it, but I down'em pretty quick! Also their iced black coffees are pretty good. I bought a handful of their baked goods today and some of them were kinda bland, but I think that's how its supposed to be. If you want the major no-no baked goods, check out their refrigerated showcase. From their refrigerated area, I had a blueberry mousse. The thing almost looked plastic. I actually asked them if it was a fake just up for display! Sure enough, the counter girl gave me the one I was eying. The inside of the blueberry mouse was bluberryific and moussey, but the outside of it was super sticky and I made a mess of trying to eat it, but it was worth it. ps. Mozart is great! I love their whole grain powder shaved ice. They add peanuts on the bottom and I HIGHLY recommend that you ask it be taken out. Their coffee is on point as well. This is definitely a great place to get desserts and other Korean pastries. Definitely try it out. read more

Dear Korean desserts, you're perfect: sweet but not too sweet, cute but not too cute (so I don't feel guilty gobbling you up). Well, the latter is not quite true: they are in fact very cute-looking. This is my go-to spot after dinner or before karaoke in Korean town: nice couches & tables for groups. I usually ask for a cup of water instead of a drink so I don't get sugar-ed out. Fresh fruit cake: my favourite, very light and fruity. It tends to run out early so you may not find it after dinner time. I sometimes order a whole cake ahead of time for friend's birthdays (they give you candles too!). The blueberry chiffon cake tastes heavenly. Sweet potato cake is sweet & filling. Chocolate cake is *very* chocolatey. Black forest cake is meh. Mango mousse: probably their best mousse. Orange is not bad either. The white peach mousse tastes too sweet, in an artificial-flavour kind of way. Their pastries are okay ... I don't find them as fresh-tasting. All in all, the variety & quality is satisfying. Love this place. All their goodies are amazing- sweet, sinful, delightful! Their teas are sweet and it's perfect for any weather. I like to come here when it is cold but do note that their prices are a little more pricey than most coffee shops. The tea that I would recommend is the peach green tea. It smells strong, light, sweet and is calming. Perfect for the winter and great for warming you up! I like that all Mozart bakeries are clean and offer a variety of delicacies to help fulfill your palette. The macarons here are awesome. They are light and bite sized so it's perfect! I like this location more than the one in Carrollton. They always have more pastries, breads, and macrons in stock. Workers are friendlier. I love the booths which have dividers to allow for privacy and there is always a place to sit. It was at this location that I first tired their macaron's. They had a large selection and I was afraid it might have meant the macaron's were old, but I'm happy so say they weren't. The macarons were good, texture was just right, and I love the variety of flavors. Some flavors they offer are raspberry, green tea, pistachio, and earl grey. I would rate the macarons alone 4 out of 5 being the best I've ever had, and that's saying something because I've had a lot of bad experiences. For $1.50 each they satisfy my craving.
