I was sold a policy with roadside assistance…read more When I needed that roadside assistance in a non-functioning vehicle in sub-freezing weather, it was a massive failure. First after waiting 2 hours for the truck from Woody's in huntington. His ETA came and went. I was obviously getting quite cold and called to find out what was going on. This is the first time the driver and I actually spoke. His name is Corey Schnitz. The driver IMMEDIATELY blamed me for not giving him the information about my vehicle being all wheel drive. He was going back to Huntington to get a flat bed. Bear in mind I am nowhere near Huntington Indiana. So, we are talking about a significant length of time. I started to explain that wasn't going to work and I hadn't spoken to anyone from the tow service. I was then told, and I am quoting, "Don't get shitty. If you don't like what I am telling you, you can go fuck yourself and sit on the side of the road another 4 hours." For reference this was Woody's Tow Service in Huntington. You can go there to see their review. When I contacted Chris's office to launch a complaint i was treated with a fair amount of indifference, didn't hear from Chris until it was too late for anything to be done, and I got stuck having to rent a car. When I did talk to Chris, I told her I wanted to speak to someone from State Farm Corporate. That request was refused and I was told I had to follow the process in place. That was some time ago. Still haven't talked to anyone at State Farm. Still haven't talked to Chris again. No one has even followed up at all. They just seemed to have forgotten that their vendor told their customer to go fuck himself and then left him on the side of the road. All because no one could relay the right info in a process I paid a monthly fee for and STILL HAD TO PAY FOR A TOW AND A RENTAL. Obviously, you may have a different experience. That said, take my advice. Give your money to a person who works for a company that values you as a customer and they collectively value you as a customer. State Farm isn't going to do that and frankly, neither is Ms. Moring.
