It's never an enjoyable time to have to deal with car accidents and auto body repair. However, I could not have had a better experience than at Tom Williams Collision Center! I trusted them with my Range Rover Evoque. They not only did an emasculates job on the repairs, but their communication during the process was too notch. I enjoy the access to their messaging center where I can stay in touch with the services department at all times. There was not one moment where I did not know what was going on, and they stayed in touch almost daily. I highly recommend this facility for any car repairs! The quality of work here is under par for what you think you would be getting from a flag ship name like Tom Williams. If something works properly when you drop it off it should work when you pick it back up. If you take door panels off and mess with the wiring and a part stops working it's your problem to fix. I'm thankful I took pictures of my window tint before I dropped it off because the manager tried saying they didn't mess with my windows. I had proof and they also took pictures which was a good thing. They think just because you drive an older vehicle these things just happen but they don't. I will never bring my car to Tom Williams Lexus for ANYTHING ever again. read more

WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. Well, except for the time before that I sent my car here ... I guess I should have learned my lesson. My recommendation - DO NOT, under ANY circumstance, take your vehicle to Tom Williams Collision. CUSTOMER SERVICE FAIL - They have ZERO customer service skills. I was elated when the Service Mgr told me that, should I fax the estimate sheet to him he could order my parts, thus making my length of time without my vehicle shortened significantly. So - that is what I did. After reviewing my estimate worksheet, provided by an insurance adjuster, he set my appointment for the following week and I'd have it back in 4 days. AWESOME! When I dropped my car off at the appointed time (Mon), I asked them to keep me abreast of the status of my vehicle's repairs during the 4 days that they stated it would take to repair my vehicle but never heard one word from them. When I called to ask what time to pick my car up on Friday, they hesitantly told me that they needed to order more parts and those would not be in until the following Tuesday, and that they needed Tuesday and, possibly Wednesday to work on the car. When I inquired about what had actually been done to repair my vehicle up to this point, they reported that nothing had actually been done on it. So, basically ... my car had been sitting at Tom Williams Collision for 4 days and nothing had been done with it. Fast forward to the following Tuesday when we called inquiring about the status of the newly ordered parts and were told, "let me see when we can get that part in for you." To which Mr SS9 responded, "So. You've not ordered the parts? Why don't you call me this evening and give me a status." No call. Wednesday - "The parts are here! And we will be able to have your car back to you by Friday. We will call you in the morning when it's ready". And for my trouble, they wanted me to drive out to TWC and pick up a rental car. Nah - No thanks. Really. I have been without a car for almost two weeks now - what's another day and a half? Friday - No call in the am - so I called TWC and learned that my vehicle would not be ready until 4:30. And after all of this, the Service Mgr could not figure out how to get my car to me. He didn't even think to utilize the Tom Williams valet service. At the end of the day (and I mean about 7:00 PM), and many heated discussions with Mr. SS9 throughout the afternoon, Mr. Service Manager's manager actually brought my car to me. They will not contact you, you must contact them. The timeframes that they advise are not accurate. The customer service is terrible. Even my insurance company had a hard time getting in touch. A luxury vehicle (BMW) collision center-- BULL. In summation they had my car over a month, for a door replacement/paint job which my insurance company approved before I even took it to TWC. My car was purchased at Tom Williams BMW, so I thought the collision center would have the same level of service---NOT. Find somewhere else to take your car if you want the service you are accustomed to with the Tom Williams dealers/service centers. read more

I'm am so disappointed in the service provided by Tom Williams Collision Center. I dropped my car off on 02/14/22 for a minor front bumper and rim repair/replace. I was told that due to Covid and delays in getting parts that it would take longer to fix which I was okay with and my car was ready for pick up on 03/03/22. When I picked up my vehicle on 03/03/2022, I noticed that my car was dirty, their was black hand smudges on the leather interior, their were coffee stains on the driver seat and the console. The outside was dirty even the new front bumper had dirt all over it like my car had been used while it should have been parked. I then checked the mileage and when I dropped my car off it was 11837 miles and when I picked up my car it was 12057 miles. Also, my diver 1 and driver 2 car settings were deleted and my car was change to sport mode when I drive my car in Standard mode. So basically while my car was in the care of Tom Williams Collision Center someone drove my car 220 miles. When I contacted Tom Williams concerning the matter the General Manager Jerry Savage tells me that no one drove my car that he has a picture of my mileage and it was 12114 when it was dropped off. I advised Jerry that can not be correct since when I picked up my car it was at 12057 miles. Jerry talked over me and I had to interrupt him just to have a chance to express my concerns. Jerry, never showed that he care how this made me feel violated or made any attempt to rectify this situation but continued to state that no one drove my car. Please read my message before you decided to take your vehicle to Tom William Collision Center, even though the front office staff are very nice, you can't trust these people they have no integrity. I can not recommend and I will report this to my insurance carrier. read more

I have no complaints about the body work but when I picked up my vehicle after a bumper repair, the shock compressor was busted. Even though they admitted they busted the shock compressor, they said it was normal wear and tear and refused to pay or even partially pay for a repair. So now I am out $1200 and Tom Williams has lost a long time customer. read more

Don't take your luxury vehicle here if you expect a better outcome after they repair it, in reality, expect on going issues that they (TWC) will not take responsibility for although the car was in their care when the issues occurred. .***Worst Experience Ever*** An upgrade in management is needed as well. They repainted the hood of my BMW 128i that had a horrendous scratch. I was nervous about after factory paint, but they did a remarkable job. They were up front and honest with me the whole time about what to expect, so there were no surprises. When I got the car back, I couldn't tell a difference in the paint because they matched it so well with the rest of the body. An added bonus, they gave the car a full detail, it looked like new. Glad I came here, I will return for any future work. The only downside was the price, but it was worth it to be assured of the quality of work. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! I brought my LX 570 to Tom Williams Collision for one reason and that was because I wanted the job done right! And boy do I regret it! I hit a deer and had some basic paint that needed to be repaired along with the front view camera being knocked out. They had my vehicle for over two weeks. When I was told that it was ready, I drove an hour to Birmingham to pick it up. When I got there and loaded up my belongings the gate wouldn't close, which wasn't a problem I had when I took my car there. I get in the car and sonar sensors are going off, also a problem I didn't have when I took the vehicle there. Before I went in to have these issues addressed, I decided to walk around the vehicle to make sure everything was done (which someone should have done with me when I got there). As I walked around the vehicle, I noticed one of the major spots on the hood that was supposed to be fixed hadn't even been addressed!! I was not compensated in any way, not even an apology. I was given another rental that was supposed to be on Tom Williams dime only to find out that they filed a supplemental claim with my insurance for reimbursement. Since the issue on the hood wasn't addressed the first time, my insurance company then decided it wasn't caused by the deer and we had to file another claim. Phone calls to the 'Collision Advisor' and the general manager went unanswered and unreturned multiple times. So the moral of the story is don't use them if you think you are going to receive the kind of service you should get when you bring them a $90,000 vehicle. I am very disappointed in my experience that I had at Tom Williams Collision Center, and needless to say I expected better service than I received. read more

Our vehicle was repaired 8 years ago and it recently began to show issues from the repair done by TWC in the form of paint cracking. I spoke with the service manager on a Friday afternoon and he was very nice and said it would not be an issue to have it repaired. They had the old file and suggested we bring it in on the next Monday and it should not take but about a week to complete the repairs. My wife and I delivered the car to them and they had a rental car there for us to drive home and keep until the repair was complete. I recieved email and text messages as it walked through the repair facility all along the way from approval to your vehicle is in the repair cysle, paint cycle and finnally the your car is ready to be picked up. I understand people have bad experiences and a lot of those are thise are from people who have not done their homework and planned the situation out so the situation would best suit them. Call ahead, visit with the repair facility and discuss everything, make a plan. I appreciate the shop taking our car in and repairing it without any issues. Jack Roddam read more

I have used Tom Williams Collision three times now. All wrecks were not at my fault let me add. I've used them because my first two experiences were excellent, and I trust them more as I owned a Lexus and now Audi. The first two times went smoothly and took only 5-7 days. This last time was a pure nightmare. I gave them my car on a Thursday, and they didn't even begin work on it until the following Monday. The representative never returned my phone calls in a promptly manner (would leave a voicemail and might get a return phone call the next day). The whole process took 16 days... Hell you can make a new Audi in a quicker period than that. Besides the poor customer service, the repairs they did were outstanding. read more
