Her mom still does the billing and the front desk so don't be in a hurry. They will save you a fortune compared to the vampire private equity corporation like VCA that have taken over all the other veterinarians in town. no upselling no overpriced Labs, no dog MRIs, just old fashioned vet care. I have been going to Tomball Animal Hospital for 30 years. All my pets have been cared for there and have received the best care. I feel like they are part of my family. Routine visits are always fun, seeing all the staff and finding out what is going on with them. When it is a more serious visit they are always sensitive and caring. I would never take my precious 4 legged children to anyone else. Try them I know you will feel the same! read more

The ladies there are wonderful. We had to have emergency surgery on our female pug and my regular vet had sold his practice. They were able to see her immediately and saved her life from a massive infection. We took all three dogs recently and service was awesome. Dr Murray is just wonderful with the animals. read more

Took my dog for bath and nail clipping. The dog stayed for over 4 hours. I was charged $31.95 foe the service and I can assure the service was NOT PERFORMED. No residue of any shampoo smell and nails were the same. When I called for a refund, two people did not know how tondo it and I was asked to wait for a Manager that has no schedule. Update: For the staff that posted I damaged a delivery box, your box was already flimsy upon pickup and putting the box up on an elevated counter may have a little thing called gravity when placing it down. I have never heard I was unprofessional I've been doing this a year and a half and have great ratings. Your rating here however show you are the problem. You and your staff have very bad attitudes and I did you a favor by bringing it to the kitchen. There was no acknowledgment upon asking you nicely where would you like the box placed, you pushed a few items aside to show me where and obviously there was not enough space for such a massive box. If you are looking for a reason to argue early in the morning with a delivery driver look elsewhere. Dr Foltin is the most unprofessional and unethical vet I've been too. We took my dog Tank, a Rottweiler, in for a basic checkup. She refused to see him bc he's an "aggressive" dog The receptionist mentioned she had been bit by a Rottweiler in the past and we should try again w their other vet. Of course that appointment went smooth So then I schedule surgery to get him nutered. They scheduled the surgery with no issues but didn't mention it would be Dr Foltin performing. They stuck him in a cage for 3 hours and he was scared. They started poking him with sticks which made him even more terrified. Then the dr called and was beyond rude on the phone and told us to pick him up immediately. She raised her voice and was completely unprofessional and not sympathetic towards our concerns. I never seen a vet behave like this and be that unprofessional and abuse a dog bc she had a bad experience in the past They said they didn't know of any vets that can handle an aggressive dog. Which is comical. Bc the very next Friday we took him to Stuebner airline clinic. They didn't put him in a run cage for 4 hours. They immediately took him in with a muzzle on, loved on him, made him comfortable and were able to perform surgery with zero complications and I picked him up 2 hours later. They called and checked up on him the next day, and twice more the next week. The experience was night and day difference. If you want a vet that is abusive to your animal and verbally abusive with owner, then Tomball animal hospital is the place. I highly encourage you to avoid this place and go to places like stuebner airline animal hospital where they treat animals and owners with love and respect read more

This place is a rip off and yes the customer service (especially one older person there) needs major improvement. They take my 3 pound chihuahua and then proceed to tell me it's $700 for whatever was done, but I never got to talk to the vet. Instead someone transcribed and emailed her detailed notes but did I ever get to talk to her! NO!! Beware, please ask for an estimate for anything even teeth cleaning which was a ridiculous amount for their services. The estimate alone was $1000 plus ( this was only the estimate). The team at Tomball Animal Hospital was with us every step of the way.... right to the end Bailey had the best love and care. They were a huge support for us worried humans too. They use Fond Memories for the cremation. Today we received a beautiful box with Baileys ashes and name engraved on it. His paw print was done perfectly. 9 hours my dog was there 9 hours,, they told me they had a busy schedule...i booked 2 weeks ago and I have an old english sheepdog, do they not know the difference between an old english sheepdog and a chihuahua?? my family(my dog) drank water for a full minute when he finally got home not to mention not eating at his noon time feeding. in at 9 out at 6: 30??? wtf? never again pathetic to put it nicely. the Dr Dorothy is the only thing this clinic has going for it...grooming ??not for me and my dog ever again. read more

We moved to the area recently from another part of Houston, and needed to take in our most recent rescue kitty as he was feeling under the weather. We did curbside drop-off so that they could do a full evaluation while I had to go back to work. They called through every step of their process, from exam to x-rays and labwork. But I've had to take our dog in twice over the last year for immediate need care and each time I was able to take our dog in and Dr. Foltin Bruhn worked our dog into the schedule and got her on her way to recovery. The staff were very nice there and sweet. They also got their job done really well. The problem is... it is too pricey, and I feel they try to sell you everything they can and charge too much. We took our dog in for regular vaccines and check up. It turned out our dog had hook warms and some yeast infection in the ears. So they charged total more than $600 for the vaccines, hook warms treatment and ear treatment. I think this is too expensive. 10 days later we took her back for a followup check to see if the yeast infection in the ears were gone, but they charged us another set of fees just to swab the ears. I'm not sure it is supposed to be this way, but I would think this the fees we paid first time should cover the whole treatment when it comes to simple stuff like yeast infections in the ears, especially when it's already so pricey. During the whole process, they also tried to sell us dog tooth brush, tooth paste, mouthwash, etc. I understand the nature of a business is to make money, but the way they did it just made me feel uncomfortable. Overall as I said, this place is not terrible in terms of the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the job they did. I'm taking two stars off mainly for the price and the way they tried to sell stuff to me. read more

Took our cat to have him treated for an injury. The staff is very friendly, and they took good care of our cat, treated his injury professionally and gently. I appreciate seeing them trying to be as gentle as possible with our cat, knowing he was in pain. Yes they try to have do extra tests, sell you additional stuff, just say no and that's it. Yes, I think it's pricey, but I have tried other places and haven't found anything affordable. So I prefer to go back to a vet that I know will be gentle and caring about our cat. read more

I would trust this veterinarian, however, if there is a lab test or a sonogram tech that can possibly be brought in to confirm the diagnosis, with no real consideration of the age, quality of life the actual treatment will have on the dog or your budget...they are going to do it and if you don't, they will try to make you feel like a horribly negligent pet owner. Even as far as giving you an application for a pet credit card to cover the expenses. Thankfully, my husband and I had the presence of mind during this high pressure and emotional situation to call our previous vet who had retired. He said the medication to treat would be so harsh, and it usually didn't add even months to the dogs life, it just makes them feel horrible and costs the owner a lot of money and visits to the vet. If it were their dog he wouldn't go through all the extra testing especially when all of the symptoms and two vets are so sure she has what's she had been diagnosed with. So we declined treatment, nicely. But kept our grooming appointment...evidently during the grooming the groomer found that both of our dogs had ear infections and asked if I wanted to treat them-I did of course. My husband picked them up with an over $500 bill. Needless to say...we have not, and will not return. read more

My wife and I recently moved into the Tomball area and were very fortunate to find a wonderful place to take our three dogs. We discovered the wonderful Dr. Jana and her caring staff when one of our dogs needed some urgent attention and they were the only place able to squeeze her in within minutes late in the evening. Going in blind, we were so very happy. Every staff member they have (Gloria and Andrea to name just two) know our dogs by name and treat them as if they were their own. They have made one of our dogs, Nikki, who has had to have a lot more visits than the other two, feel so very special. Nikki is as excited to go to Tomball Animal Hospital as she is the dog park and she is never in a rush to leave, which tells me she is just as satisfied as I am. They are flexible when it comes to scheduling to make it as easy on us as possible. They discuss everything with you ahead of time and help you make the best decision for your pets. We always ask a ton of questions and they are so patient and caring. I am surprised they didn't have any reviews but I am happy to be the first. read more

The Dr. is very nice but VERY EXPENSIVE and they always want to do more than needed for more money to them. Do not think I received $600.00 worth. Bad experience with the groomer, too. after we were home and I checked him, not only was it BAD but he had a skin burn on his rear and his leg that is now bleeding. DONOT TAKE YOUR DOG THERE to be groomed and watch out for the added cost that they will put on you. read more

I brought both my cats in for their yearly shots and to check up because they had been spitting up more than normal, paid $1000. Dropped them off in the morning and picked them up at 8pm. My female cat started swelling in the mouth and tongue and was in excruciating pain by morning. Of course they were closed. We took her to an emergency clinic and had to have her hospitalized for 2 days and had to syringe feed her for the next 4 days. The new Dr said that she had liked up something and gotten a chemical burn while in the TBAHs care. My cat almost died!! When I told the people at Tomball Animal Hospital they showed no sympathy and just asked if she has stopped spitting up as much since they treated her! Like WTF!? I just told you my cat got into something while there and almost died and you want to know if she stopped spitting up? They never called back. Won't go here ever again and have warned my friends and family to stay away. read more
