Sadly, my elliptical didn't work out of the box and their repairman took two weeks to fix it. The store holds strong to my two options: return it and pay more for a better unit or sell it to your neighbor. Everyone seemed very helpful to recommend, to charge my credit card and even get me home. Now I realize they aren't as helpful after seven days... even when the unit didn't work for the first two weeks. Be really cautious here. These are expensive units and your two minute exercise in the store to "feel" the machine doesn't represent the same mechanics you'll expect in a serious workout. It's much cheaper to buy a gym membership. My two thousand dollar ellipical certainly doesn't feel as good as the gym. Further, they never feel the same at home as they do in the store. Sadly, there is no way to learn that until you get it home. I found the sales rep to be amazingly friendly until after I purchased my machine. When things went wrong, I saw their true colors.
