I called this morning in a panic. We had drywall/painters come to the house so we unplugged a power strip from the wall to make way for them to work. As soon as we did that, all the outlets on the entire backside of the house went dead. I called tommy Gunn to check my dishwasher electrical socket because the unit stopped working and I got a spark every time I unplugged/replugged the cord. Wasn't sure if it was an electrical issue or an appliance repair issue. Tommy sent out Michael to check it out. This is the second time I've used Tommy Gunn for a project. The first was a little one involving wiring for an AC unit. Before sending a tech out, Tommy spent 20 minutes on the phone with me to help diagnose the issue and make sure it was something that really required an appointment. I've never experienced someone trying to help me avoid an unnecessary service call. I thought that was really cool. His pricing for that fix was very fair and they did a great job. This second project was much larger. I'm remodeling my kitchen and removing the entire soffit and a pony wall. I called Tommy Gunn to come in and redo all the electrical in my kitchen and bring everything up to code. He sent Mike out a few weeks before to go over all the details and what needed to be done in order to give me a price (which was very competitive compared to the other quotes I got). The day after demo, Mike shows up on time ready to roll. Upon his arrival we went over the project again. and determined that several additional things needed to be done from what we initially talked about. Tommy was more than fair on the revised pricing for all the additional tasks and I could tell he just wanted to make a happy customer. Mike spent a full two days redoing literally everything. His work was top notch and he was a pleasure to have working in my house. He answered questions and handled every last minute request with a smile. He was unfortunately delayed a bit due to the house being repiped on day two and having several other people working in his area. Instead of having an attitude and being frustrated with the delay (which would have been justified) he remained proactive and even stayed quite late to finish the job so as not to delay my entire kitchen project. He really didn't have to do that. Tommy Gunn and Mike are very affordable, pleasant to work with and do fantastic work. What more can you ask for? I am the resident of mission viejo. I seriously recommend Tommy Gunn Electric because I used their services twice and I am super satisfy with both services. When you talk to Tommy, you can tell he has so much experience in one minute! 1st time service - I called them because my bathroom light is making 'weng -weng' noise. I just described the symptom to Tommy and he can figure out the issue without looking at anything! He said I need to change my light to LED which will solve the issue. Recently, I added some outdoor lighting (Malibu) and found the outdoor power outlet wasn't functioning. I reached out to Tommy Gunn and they we're prompt and professional. We set up a time and the electrician (Michael), called a few minutes early and showed up on time.
