We signed up for a swing analysis. Randall walked my son through his swing on video pointing out the things he was doing well. Then he pulled up video of some of the best hitters in the MLB. (Guys my son worships) He showed the extra fundamentals my son could learn by demonstrating these techniques used by star players. My son was hooked. (And so was I.) We bought a multi-lesson package. The training was well thought out and fun for my child. It was also challenging. It forced him to learn new things and learn how to be coached at a higher level. His swing improved dramatically in a short amount of time. And this isn't just speculation. The instructors use cutting edge equipment that tracks every aspect of the swing and the results. Last but not least, the talent that trains with Gradum is elite. My son worked side by side with kids his age that were crushing the ball. Often we'd arrive early and see too high school talent, boys and girls, putting on laser shows in the cage. But the highlight was following a major leaguer training waiting for the season starting up. This was the review I was looking for when I was researching. Highly recommend this crew and faculty.

Sometimes I honestly forget about…read moreit, especially since I don't have kids, but I remember the first time I came here--it was basically a little rundown arcade with go-karts, and if you asked me back then, I would've said this place desperately needed a renovation. Fast-forward all these years later, and they've definitely made some upgrades! My nephew, who I've been bringing here over the years and is now 16, and I decided to come hang out for a couple of hours before his flight back to Texas. The place looks SO much nicer when you walk up. There's now a QR code you can scan with your phone to sign your waiver before going in, which makes things super convenient. As soon as you walk in, there's also a nice bar area to your left, and they did a great job with it. The welcome desk is right there up front, and the staff helps you set up your packages and add money to your game cards. We decided to each get a go-kart pass and then put some additional money on a game card so we could play afterward. Now, the go-karts... I feel like these definitely still need an upgrade--or at least some fixing. I am a PUT-MY-FOOT-ALL-THE-WAY-DOWN-ON-THE-GAS kind of girl, so I took off pretty quickly and was one of the first people to start. Somehow, I was almost one of the last people to finish because my go-kart--and my husband's--was SO slow! I've done indoor go-karting before, and this definitely felt like the PG version. So, if you're looking for a fast, adrenaline-pumping go-kart experience , fingers crossed you don't get the slow go kart. That was honestly my biggest disappointment. We also spent about $65 playing games and, of course, ended up cashing in our tickets for our dollar-store-quality prizes. But hey, it's all part of the experience! We're always big fans of the basketball games, and there were definitely a few machines that were broken, but overall, we had a good time. It gave us something fun to do for a couple of hours before heading to the airport, and we enjoyed hanging out together. Overall, I'm glad to see how much this place has improved over the years. It's definitely much nicer than I remember, even though I think the go-karts could still use some work. For a casual afternoon of arcade games, basketball, and some family fun, it did the job!

And on a Saturday night it's overcrowded with children. I had to park by the Dunkin drive through and walking in the dark in that parking lot did not feel safe. When I arrived I am not sure if we had a reserved time to bowl but we had to wait an hour for two lanes to open up. It's pretty expensive as they charge per hour ($60) + rental shoes ($5). But if you have the max amount of players, it could be worth it. Staff could be more polite and patient. I didn't find my interaction charming when I was getting my bowling shoes. The bar area is a nice touch. Doesn't really fit the indoor theme of the place. I think something more whimsical like a carnival theme would have been better. I wanted to check out the arcade but it was too crowded and hectic with all the kids. It may be a fun family night out or a very casual affordable date idea. I don't know how soon I'll be coming back although I want to explore it more. There's even an outdoor racetrack it looked like. I did not try the food but the pizza and cheese fries are pictured here. They looked good.

HIT a Double was recommended and we went over to check it out, which is not in a usual store front. The store is in a warehouse district off Clint Moore, but the front door does face the roadway to make it easier to find with plenty of parking. We walked in and were instantly greeted by staff. The store is a candy-land of baseball equipment! My son tried on or tested everything to make sure it was the right fit with plenty of colors and brand options. We ended up with a new gray glove, green helmet, black bat, blue backpack, black pants and green socks! One of the cool things HIT has is a glove steamer, which sits in what looks like a popcorn machine to soften the hard leather. It takes a few minutes and then its good to go! The store has had other locations before and moved to this location in 2019. They do a lot of business on the web and for league teams across the county. We had a really nice experience and don't be intimidated, the staff are thoughtful and genuine about their knowledge of the equipment. We will probably be back if my son continues to play.
