I've been coming to this establishment on and off for 20+ years. Sometimes I honestly forget about it, especially since I don't have kids, but I remember the first time I came here--it was basically a little rundown arcade with go-karts, and if you asked me back then, I would've said this place desperately needed a renovation. Fast-forward all these years later, and they've definitely made some upgrades! My nephew, who I've been bringing here over the years and is now 16, and I decided to come hang out for a couple of hours before his flight back to Texas. The place looks SO much nicer when you walk up. There's now a QR code you can scan with your phone to sign your waiver before going in, which makes things super convenient. As soon as you walk in, there's also a nice bar area to your left, and they did a great job with it. The welcome desk is right there up front, and the staff helps you set up your packages and add money to your game cards. We decided to each get a go-kart pass and then put some additional money on a game card so we could play afterward. Now, the go-karts... I feel like these definitely still need an upgrade--or at least some fixing. I am a PUT-MY-FOOT-ALL-THE-WAY-DOWN-ON-THE-GAS kind of girl, so I took off pretty quickly and was one of the first people to start. Somehow, I was almost one of the last people to finish because my go-kart--and my husband's--was SO slow! I've done indoor go-karting before, and this definitely felt like the PG version. So, if you're looking for a fast, adrenaline-pumping go-kart experience , fingers crossed you don't get the slow go kart. That was honestly my biggest disappointment. We also spent about $65 playing games and, of course, ended up cashing in our tickets for our dollar-store-quality prizes. But hey, it's all part of the experience! We're always big fans of the basketball games, and there were definitely a few machines that were broken, but overall, we had a good time. It gave us something fun to do for a couple of hours before heading to the airport, and we enjoyed hanging out together. Overall, I'm glad to see how much this place has improved over the years. I came here for a small event and had a nice time overall. I haven't been to fun depot since I was a kid at summer camp. There's a lot to do here. And on a Saturday night it's overcrowded with children. I had to park by the Dunkin drive through and walking in the dark in that parking lot did not feel safe. When I arrived I am not sure if we had a reserved time to bowl but we had to wait an hour for two lanes to open up. It's pretty expensive as they charge per hour ($60) + rental shoes ($5). But if you have the max amount of players, it could be worth it. Staff could be more polite and patient. I didn't find my interaction charming when I was getting my bowling shoes. The bar area is a nice touch. Doesn't really fit the indoor theme of the place. I think something more whimsical like a carnival theme would have been better. I wanted to check out the arcade but it was too crowded and hectic with all the kids. It may be a fun family night out or a very casual affordable date idea. I don't know how soon I'll be coming back although I want to explore it more. There's even an outdoor racetrack it looked like. We've been coming to Fun Depot in Lake Worth since 2021, and the recent upgrades are a huge improvement! The venue looks much nicer and feels more organized. It's definitely geared toward families now, kids can no longer just be dropped off, which helps with overall safety but can lead to bigger crowds, especially on weekends. There's a lot to do here: laser tag, go-karts, arcade games, and even bowling, all under one roof, which is great for keeping everyone entertained. We haven't tried the food yet, so I can't comment on that, but everything else has been solid. We also attended a birthday party here, and the staff was efficient and helpful throughout the process. Finally made it to Family Fun Night, which happens every Tuesday and Thursday night from 5-11pm. Entrance requires purchasing an unlimited wristband for the night: $25 for unlimited arcade games (minue mini bowling), or $35 for unlimited arcade games, laser tag, and go karts. We went for the first option. Adults and all children pay the same price for a wristband. You are given an accompanying unlimited card which you place on the game pad on each game in order to play. The unlimited is great so there is no stress about how much each game play costs, nor how much each renewal of a game costs. Also, only on unlimted nights, no physical paper tickets are given out, so my kids weren't just focused on getting tickets to buy things with = awesome! My kids are 7 and 9, and they had a blast. 3 hours! Some games are too adult or scary to even look at (walking dead, for example) for my kids, and I wanted to avoid any gun games. There are a ton of driving games where you sit in a car and operate a pedal and steering wheel, several motorcycle type games where you ride a motorbike, 2 snow motorcycles (is that a thing?), and 1 snowboarding game. Also, there is a roller coaster type game where 2 people sit back in a chair so you are almost laying down, and there is a lot of 'bumping' along the roller coaster track. There are 2 games that involve jumping up to slap a lit button, 1 dance game, a piano playing game, basketball games, and more. Some games I just could not figure out (monopoly), the connect 4 was broken, and some of the games involving balls had balls missing. Warning: the driving games still had scantily clad women opening each game. The only drawback is that I paid for my entrance but only played 2 games myself (and only while seated next to my child) because of course I was parenting my kids and helping them figure out games, and scanning cards to keep games going. I assume that even with the cost of my band, we still paid less than if we had paid individually for each game. I would definitely return for this night. It wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be, and we went on a day during winter break when there was no school. There was a lot of teenagers there without any obvious parents, and there were long-seeming lines for the tag and go karts, which is why we did not go for that. I appreciate that you could go in and out as often as you like during the time period, and next time maybe I would go earlier and take a break to go to the pupuseria in the plaza next to Fun Depot. I could see this being super fun for adults as well as kids. I appreciate that we have a locally-owned arcade to frequent. read more

Run down and needs some upgrades. Looks like it would be the arcade from stranger things in the 1990s. Told cashier as we walked in we wanted to karts. She said games are .75-$8. How much money do you want on your card. I said $100. She asked if we've signed a waiver before. I told her was our first time here. We filled it out the waiver for go karts. We played some games and then went outside and waited in line for about 15 minutes just to be told we couldn't ride without a hand stamp. Cashier never told us? We told her first time there. There's no signs anywhere that reflect the rule, but it was enforced. Several people got turned away as they got to the front. If you're going to have this rule. Why would they abbreviate something and not be clear and transparent. Unfortunately, I found that the selection consists mainly of older arcade games that are in poor condition. While the concept of unlimited access is appealing, the reality of playing rundown games does not provide good value for the price. Just an overall horrible experience. Came on a Tuesday night which is unlimited night and found out even if you just want to watch your kids play you also have to purchase an unlimited pass. They even made us purchase an unlimited pass for my husband who's disabled and in a wheel chair who obviously can't play any of the games there. Went to bowl with family over Labor Day weekend 2024. Only highlight was food service from Kristi G. Bowling experience was trash. Uses a cable system to reset pins and it tangled 20% of the time. And during our 90 minutes we had 5 instances where they had to go in the back to untangle the pin cables manually. At one point they even had to relocate us to another lane where the tangling kept happening. They said they would give us more time and added a total of 5 minutes to our time which his how long each tangled mess took to fix. When I complained, the manager only gave us 10 minutes. $120 for 6 people to bowl a game and a half? Do yourself a favor and find a traditional bowling alley. read more

This place is a hidden little gem in lake worth. Most people don't know about it unless you've driven by it. They have arcade games, laser tag, go karts and mini bowling. As well as a little pizza cafe. It's relatively inexpensive, $9.25 for an activity and then you can get a game card. There aren't a huge selection of games and it's a bit dirty. I felt like my shoes were going to stick to the floor in the cafe. They have a very small prize selection for the tickets, too. We wound up just saving our tickets for next time. It has been years since I have been here and we came in for some Saturday afternoon fun. There are specials throughout the week and we got hit with the cost a bit. There are plenty of arcade games, laser force, and go karts for entertainment. Each one of the arcade games costs about a buck a piece to play, so if you don't go there on a special, it can add up quick. They have family nights on Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to close and you can play unlimited games for a set price. I can imagine it's packed on those nights. There is a cafe and we ate a pizza along with a pitcher of soda for about 20 bucks. It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either. After we ate lunch, we went on the go karts and did a couple rounds. This is an older establishment. It has a lot of games, mostly for kids. If you had children this would be a great place to bring them. They offer family nights with special prices to play all you want for a certain amount. Otherwise you just pay whatever as a credit on a card and play for however long that money lasts. They also have a bowling alley and a restaurant with a bar. The bowling alley is inside the restaurant. I will say that they could do a lot better with the cleanliness of the game area and the bathrooms. As an adult there just wasn't enough adult things there to get me to come back but if my children were still at home and younger I would take them. Took the 15-yr-old grandson for some fun to Fun Depot for his Easter gift - he agreed it was better than some kind of basket with chocolate bunnies!! It is in need of a bit of an upgrade; they are putting in some kind of bowling alley near the entrance, too. However, the grandson had a blast. 45 bucks got him exactly what he wanted - 4 rounds of laser tag and 1 round of go carts. He didn't want to do the arcade games. Not what I would call cheap prices, but it is better than Boomer's! And the grandson is a laser tag aficionado! He asserts that Fun Depot is better for laser tag than Boomer's, for what it is worth. I do think their cafe needs an overhaul in the worst way, though. It isn't very pleasant or the cleanest cafe - so skip anything there except for maybe a soda. No options for tea or water there either. For a Saturday, it was pretty busy, but not too packed. Staff seemed nice enough to me. And I did not get charged for anything just being there with my grandson. Fun Depot could have a higher star potential with a little invested capital for improvements. For now, though, I say 3 stars and that may be a half-star generous. read more

I read the reviews before heading out here because it only had 2.5 stars but the last few reviews were great so we thought we'd give them a shot. Now, I know why they only got 2.5 stars. Most people head here on Tuesdays and Thursdays since they offer unlimited play on these days. However, even if you're bringing your kids here, for them to play, they make you pay as well just to go in the place. That's the first star they lost. The second star they lost when we walked in to the place being under construction, and the 80's carpet throughout that dated the place. The third star they lost, when the games they have are also outdated. The unlimited band does not include the mini bowling, but once you see it, you won't want to do that either. The unlimited game card also doesn't collect tickets for games played. I'd tell you to go check them out but I'd be doing you a disservice. They have a cafe that's also dated and the entire place is just run down. One star they do get is for my 6 year old enjoying himself because he doesn't know what the 80s were like, and other star is for me playing Galaga, (you guest it, 80s game) and getting the points record. Sorry Fun Depot, major overhaul needed and then maybe, this place can be a Mecca of gaming and fun for kids and teens in the area. And almost forgot, the go karts, the line wait is about 30-40 minutes and don't actually get to race anyone. Hard pass. read more

Fun depot had potential. They use to have worth while arcade games. You know the big name brands meant for actual entertainment the Japanese brands. Nice fun vintage games, being an adult & going on date night it's nice to see and reminisce on the past.... a lot of the kids seem it run around and like the trendy games and mostly are there for the go karts. Which I never looked into. It's not too expensive, $20 will get you playing enough games (as a couple) for at least an hour if not more. I enjoy it all the time. The toys you win are the usual stuff, they do have some name brand items once you get to 800. Everything is on a card, so no loosing physical tickets, so we save ours up till we like something! I'm an arcade connoisseur from Miami, and WOWWWW I have never seen a business this bad, outdated carpet, outdated games, you will literally be over paying for multiple games at a time. The best you'll see is a $0.50 priced game but wow that's just horrible. A lot of these games just need maintenance, and if you ask me, this place just seems like a front for money laundering. Fun Depot is a great place to go with friends and family to just have a fun time. They have a wide variety of arcade games, laser tag and go karts. In a time where so many people have their heads down at their phones, this place gets you up and moving around while having fun. The pricing was fair and the employees were super knowledgeable. The highlight of our experience was definitely the laser tag. We played twice and each time was a blast - literally. They had a nice cafeteria selling hot food, snacks and drinks for those looking for a bite to eat. This would great place to host a kids birthday party. The only critique I would have is some of the arcade games weren't working correctly. For example, one of the whee of fortune type games back by the bathroom requires you to hit a big button but the button is broken so it was a waste of game credit. I would suggest before open every day, an employee go around and test each game and if one is malfunctioning put a sign up. The other critique I have is just space in general. A lot of the games are close to one another. In fact, while we were waiting for laser tag, my partner was smacked in the face with an air hockey puck that flew off the nearby table. We brought our son for his 14th birthday to do the Ho carts. We figured they have arcade, laser tag. Pizza and burgers website sure makes it look like a top notch place. Well, time to stop your expectations. This place is literally a dump. The place is in an industrial warehouse (not a problem) but lacks proper parking. The cost of cards is what you would expect for such a place (not a problem) but the long lines, broken machines, and dirtiness of the place makes you want to walk out. For us it was too late, we bought the cards and made the 30 min drive. People were smoking weed in the arcade floor. Now, I'm not a prude but literally it's a place for children. There was not one adult worker (manager) in the place. Literally this place is ran by teenagers. The party area adjacent to the kitchen it's says everything but celebrate. I really feel soy for any kid had to celebrate their special day on the 1981 style kitchen. The furniture was piece together from over 20 styles and decades. The kitchen offers options such as pizza, hot dogs, and nachos. However, taking a look around it screams of critters, and salmonella. (No thank you) All and all I would say. If you want to come here just for the go carts. Go ahead! They are not half bad, however lines are long and you only get 2 turns on a very small track. The best things about this place are the go karts and The Mezz. The go-karts cost a good bit of money and last only a few minutes, but you move really fast in them and it's scary and exhilarating. The Mezz is the upstairs area where there are some long tables and computers. I have been going for years and never seen anyone use the gaming computers. Most people go up there to play Magic the Gathering (they also sell packs at the front counter for the weekly booster drafts). It's free to use the tables as they figure you will buy some food or drink. I don't really like any of the games or lazer tag as I have played those out at other venues. Outside are also batting cages and those are kinda neat. I set it to high speed 90 mph and didn't hit any - could hardly see the balls. There are soda vending machines with powerade in the main room which cost about $2 each which is fair for the size. The concession stand serves pizza and sometimes runs all-u-can eat specials. They also have drinks there and things like ice-cream. I haven't had the pizza in awhile but remember it being greasy. The building and decorations look old and haven't been updated in a long time. All the games are old too. This is fine because they are relaxed with things like bringing food up to the Mezz. The employees are extremely friendly and easy-going. Fun Depot is where fun is deposited :) My boyfriend and I purchased two Midnight Madness tickets and we got to play unlimited Go-Kart and Laser Tag!!! The arcade was also pretty cool... great game choices including Dance Dance Revolution!!!! (Yeah, I went there)! Was not overcrowded so the lines were short.
