Tommy's Burger provides some really good, traditional diner style burgers. The burgers are humongous and definitely worth the $10-12 price tag. Obviously, they taste good too. Amazing? I'd say they're really good based on the size it comes in. The Philly Cheesesteak was also really good too. My biggest complaint would definitely be the onion rings. Both the batter and onions seemed low quality. It seems like they use a fried catfish style batter for the onion rings which didn't work for us. Plus, the onions were very thick, which affects the outcome of a good onion ring for obvious reasons. Too bad. But big shout out to the servers here. They were all very sweet and helpful. Burgers and Mexican?! We tried both:) I really enjoyed the burrito, I love the diced chicken and it was tasty. Burger was also tasty and bacon was delicious. Husband said it was "more than one needs to eat" lol. The portions were huge! The price was also huge too, especially for a drive-thru style eatery - it was $50 for both with two drinks and tip. This was my first visit but not my first order from this restaurant. The service was great and environment was cool. The food is extremely delicious and freshly made to order. I had a double cheeseburger with thousand island dressing with everything in it. I got an order of chili cheese fries and a bowl of chili with red salsa and a medium Sierra Mist. First off, from the name, I thought this was just a burger place which is why it's taken so long for me to visit. It's basically a burger/Mexican/breakfast place with a diner feel. It's small, but it works. I mean, if don't judge a book by its cover was a restaurant, it's this place haha The burgers we had were decent. The patties could have been bigger and fresher in my opinion, but that sauce was great! We had burgers because well, that's what we came in for, but I almost got some tacos. Next time. The onion rings weren't my style. They were tossed in cornmeal and huge, but you do get a bunch unlike other places that only give a handful. My husband thought it was great they served coke out of bottles. Haven't seen that in forever. Our waitress was nice and attentive. No complaints. They have such a huge menu, it's really hard to judge on just one visit. Needless to say, we'll be back. Fun menu with something for everyone! On this visit, we got onion rings, chili cheese dog, Philly cheesesteak, and steak burrito. Everything was fresh and tasty. The onion rings surprisingly survived the styrofoam container while being delivered! I'm thinking it's the amount of cornmeal used in the batter? They were really good, though! Went to lunch with friends today. I was pleasantly surprised with my burger. The fries were good. I would have preferred the fries to be more crunchy. Some were little soggy. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. The burger comes standard with thousand island dressing. I opted for mayonnaise on the side. The burger comes with fries and a drink. This was the combo. Our food was made and served about 15 minutes or less after we ordered. My burger was hot and very tasty. My combo was 14.99 plus tip and tax. Not too bad. The restaurant has an extensive menu. They serve breakfast foods all day as well as some Mexican dishes like quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and fajitas. There was cheesecake available in the cold case also. The restaurant reminds me of a diner. It was clean and inviting with the outside bright colors. The place is small but has a good number of booths. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a great smile and happy attitude. Which is great here in Memphis TN. They don't serve alcoholic drinks which is ok because, they had some great Orchata.
