Steak Escape is a great option for a cheesesteak or other sandwiches in Hernando, Mississippi. The service here was extremely friendly and the inside has a pleasant enough ambiance. Steak Escape is located in a shopping plaza, so parking will not be an issue. I will definitely be back and would more than recommend this particular Steak Escape. I remember back when Steak escape was so good and expensive but worth it. I hadn't been there in years and was so disapointed. There was no very little meat on our sandwich and I said everything and I got sad lettuce. And no peanut oil fried those fries. read more

First, let me say that the customer service is great. Everyone is very polite. Now, what was disappointing was my order. I ordered the Grand Escape, and it was barely any meat on the sandwich, and for it to be $10, there should be more, so I was highly disappointed in this. I love this place. Well, the chain at least. I do really like there is a location in Hernando. Also I like that there's a hometown feel to it. I like that they hire young people because sometimes it can be difficult beginning to work. Quality and presentation could come up a bit. Other than that; menu cool. Food is good. I never leave reviews but I felt that need to leave a review of our experience tonight. Service was friendly as usual but I have been noticing for some time now how dirty the restaurant is every time we have visited. Years ago we would visit weekly but now it's once every few months due to how dirty it is. But when we got our food tonight at the counter we saw a roach crawling on the counter where the brown paper sacks are kept, then when we went to sit down and started eating we saw two more roaches crawling on the floor so we quickly got up and left. Today I was in this restaurant Steak Escape of whom I believe was the manager possibly name Ricky. He became very irate while I was in the restaurant. I feel he has unsanitary practices. Place is good for what it is fast food. They do hire a young staff here mostly teenagers but the service has always been good. The place is clean unlike most steak escapes and they really do have some of he best French fries around... Someday when I am feeling like cheating I am going to get the loaded smashed potato and loaded fries.
