Sure enough, every interaction with Maeson was professional from setting up the appointment, confirming it and showing up on time as scheduled. The work that Maeson and his partner did on my car was top notch! They thoroughly cleaned every inch and it looks like new! They even washed the outside too which is something that is not always done by bigger companies when you get the interior detailed. They brought all of their own equipment to my house and this was all so convenient that I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I happened to see their ad. I was familiar with the process since I a few months earlier I had another car given a ceramic coating at another detail shop and was very pleased with the outcome. I decided to give Detail Guys a try since they did such a good job on removing the scratch and the price was a little lower. The coating was applied in mid-November and I was not satisfied with how sleek the paint felt. It did not compare with my other car. I knew it takes about a week for the coating to fully cure so I waited to see if there was improvement and there was not. Weeks later I had an errand that would take me right past Detail Guy's shop so I stopped in to express my dissatisfaction on how sleek the vehicle felt. They agreed it did not have the feel that it should and they had me bring the vehicle back in to apply another coating. Because another vehicle was successfully given a ceramic coating using the same bottle of Magna Shine Cerama Kote, they called the supplier to discuss what might have caused the different results. One possibility was that the shop was not warm enough for the product to properly bond to the surface. The second application was done in warmer conditions and the result was totally different - the Pacifica is very very smooth and shiny. I am now totally satisfied and I appreciate Detail Guys standing behind their work and applying a second ceramic coating. They said the maker of Magna Shine Cerama Kote is now putting directions on the label to apply it within a certain temperature range.

A couple of minor hiccups, but not enough to knock off any stars: I paid by credit card, and the amount on the receipt was different from what they charged--about $5.25 more. This was an extra fee for using a credit card that no one told me about. Had I known that, I would've brought cash. There was a sign that said window tinting is cash only but nothing about a credit card fee. They told me they would call me when the car was ready. Since it was about an hour and a half walk from my house to Spot-Les, I called to see if they had any idea when the car would be done. It had been done for fifteen or twenty minutes already. The guy on the phone thought someone else had called me. If I ever get my car detailed again, I will definitely go to them. It was well worth the money.
