I have been going the Kwik Car wash for years, usually get the basic wash or one above, decided to spring for the VIP wash plus paid an extra $5 to get the trunk vacuumed (Audi SQ5). It's not a large vehicle. The outside looked really good, but they failed to vacuum my back seats and trunk - which I paid extra. They didn't wipe down the floor/door boards either. The Inspect your vehicle before leaving! If i do go back it will be for basic wash/vacuum then i will do the details myself. read more

Horrible. Charged $100 up fee for third row and because first time the car was detailed here. Seats were not clean, back was not vacuumed. When I took floor mats out of back they were dripping wet. I would have thought they could have atleast wiped them with a towel before they put them back in the car..... looks like they just sprayed the mats with a hose. scratches in cup holder that weren't there before. . I've had details done before and paid less for better. lesson learned. read more

Save your money and go somewhere else. Admittedly my interior was dirty so I sprung for the 39.00 wash. After completed, I was driving away and noticed all off the missed spots. Ended up spending 30 min cleaning my interior again after my wash. No attention to detail and the works, from an interior perspective was a "light" wipe down. Sent my car in to get detailed and left it with Kwik while on vacation..once I came back to pick it up, there was more damage than before. There were deep gashes in the plastic siding of the console and black streaks in the seating from their attempt at cleaning it. If you want a great detail inside and out at a good price, Kwik Car Wash & Express is where to go. After the long winter plus a few weeks, I took my husband's Truck to get a carpet shampoo and a super clean detail on the inside. When they were done the inside looked like new. Including the carpet it was salt free! YAY because it was caked on. Only reason I didn't give them a five start was because there was a lot of water spots on the outside of the truck. Then, finally, they rudely ask "what do you want." Me: "I have an appointment." The rude guy immediately says there will be a $20 up-charge because the inside is dirty. You know those oil change places or car washes whose employees know you're pretty much stuck there until whatever they're doing to your car is finished and they take that opportunity to leer at you and make uncomfortable comments trying to pick you up? I have good news for you. This is not one of those places. Don't misunderstand me - the employees definitely chat with you. But when one of them says you have a nice smile and tells you to have a great day, it doesn't make you regret coming by without your 6'4" boyfriend. It's just plain ol' kindness. This place is great. Seriously, seriously great. They clean your car inside and out for a reasonable price and all while delivering excellent service. The people who work there are extremely friendly. On my first visit they threw in tire service because when it was offered I declined and they wanted to show me that it's awesome. On my second visit, the cashier helped me juggle the possessions I'd carried with me out of the car so I could get into my wallet. Terrible car wash. This was my 2nd time going to the Kwik Car Wash Lansing. I will never go back. I have a 2020 impala premier that I am very fussy about. Both times I used this place they never emptied my litter bag. Both times I had to ask them to clean the dirt off the door rails where you step in an out on both driver an passenger sides. I got the $16.95 mini wash both times. Save your money if you take pride in your car an want it looking good after spending $16.95 You do get your choice of an air freshener of your choice. I have loved this place as a full service car wash. I even used thier detailing service a couple years ago and considered every penny well worth it. So I set an appointment today to get another detail. The first time I setup an appointment a couple years ago, I showed up at my appointment time, one of the employees was introduced to me as my "personal detailer", she asked me a couple questions about what I was expecting, etc. This time, I show up and the guy looks at me and says, ok, get in line, and when you get to the front of the line tell them you have a detail. Wait...WHAT? I set an appointment, as you recommend, and when I get here, I just wait in line for 30 minutes to an hour just like if I had no appointment whatsoever? What was the #$%&! point of the appointment then? So I got a car wash certificate for a deluxe car wash at Kwik Car Wash in Lansing. They've been around since the 60's. If it's a sunny day, this car wash is always busy. I was skepticalal but I happend to meet the owner and he calmed my fears and took time to talk with me about their process. I pleasantlyntly surprised. My car is so glossy, it looked new. In the past I've had excellent full detail work done at Kwik. However, this morning I got The Works. I was the first and only customer at the time I was there. Yet, when I drove off I still had bug spots on the windows, black smears on my passenger seat (which I could easily clean off), and the hatchback hadn't been vacuumed. My car looked and smelled brand new. The guys who see you before your car heads into the tunnel really rush you along. That's kind of flustering if it's your first time trying to figure out your options and where you go once you get out of the car. Not a ton of patience or direction there. Review the website and be prepared. This is a great car wash to come to. They are always quick and efficient but thorough. Even for the cheap wash with hand dry you will end up with a sparkley ride. They have a frame inside with nice cars that have come through which is interesting to look at while waiting. Even if you go and the line is long (they can get busy) it's ALWAYS worth the wait. They did outstanding work. My car needed some TLC both inside and out and it got it. I'm very pleased with the quality of the job they did.

We've been going there for years and years, and they never disappoint. There are always plenty of staff working, so your car doesn't sit and get water spots. They towel dry the whole thing while someone cleans all the inside windows. The vacuuming is done well. Today when I was there they even wiped down my leather seats and did an extra good job on the console, which was pretty bad after being neglected all winter.
