I love the convenience of Tommy's. My car gets clean and I'm in and out in less than 5 minutes. The staff is friendly too.

Great tunnel carwash. They talked me into the program which honesty I'm glad I did. It's a good value knowing I can go anytime I want. I end up feeling like I "should" get my car washed more than I naturally would without the program. Which imo is great, so I'm not driving around town looking like I don't care about my beautiful 840i I had a bad experience at a carwash where you get out and hand your keys over to some kid who cleans the inside and starts your car onto the belt. Take it from me, if you care about your car. Think about who you're handing your keys to. He didn't get my car on the tracks right and caused 25k damage to my brand new Beamer. So this is much better. I have much more control, trust me, I still panic a bit even when I'm in control on tracks but I feel more in control here. read more

I just bought a brand new car from Subaru it had only a single detailing and wash per the dealership delivery to me. Let me repeat there was only one car wash before it got to Tommy's Express. I then decided to take my brand new car to Tommy's Express and now low and behold there are scratches all around the front of the car. I haven't even checked out more of my car but needless to say I'm fuming. read more

Have been through 3-4 times. Yesterday i went through and a roller scratched the back of my car and the front hood of my car. I've called two times to speak to someone and left voice mails. No one has contacted me. The first car wash was great and tires super clean. I have a membership for the most expensive wash. Yesterday, my tires didn't sparkle as usual. Plus my car got scratched. I'm feeling major anxiety that I can not contact anyone. I also want to alert them so no one else gets damage to their car. Something is obviously wrong and needs attention. Hope I hear from someone and i will definitely return today to speak to someone in person! I hope they will repair this issue and I hope they repair the damages incurred with my new car. read more

They told me about a special where if you buy The Works wash you will get unlimited car washes for a month. What they didn't mention is that you won't get the unlimited washes unless you agree to be billed $43 per month after the "free" month. Additionally, you're expected to download the app and enter personal information. If you want to ensure personal privacy and opt out of having your name used for targeted marketing you are then directed to fill out an 11 page form. It's a bummer. It seems like a nice place apart from the shady sales tactics. read more

I have tried to give this location more than one chance but every time I go there my car always leaves dirty! I have noticed when I go through the tunnel my car only gets washed by just water and like 1% soap and this is with the most expensive wash! Even when I get the tire cleaning, my tires never get cleaned! I advice anyone going here to just go to another car wash; am having to drive all the way to the one on 23rd street and Haskell bc of the services. read more

I love the fact that you can safely fit larger vehicles with wider tires and even dually's that wouldn't fit through your standard drive-through car wash tunnels. There are also several adult employees, not just a couple high school aged kids standing around. read more

Had multiple issues with this place. brushes at the end are always disconnected and hanging down rubbing down the side of my truck. Only used this wash for less than a year and my truck is covered in swirls in the paint. Went in today and for 2/3 of the wash there was no water or soap being sprayed just dry brushes rubbing all over the vehicle. Tried calling to let someone know and no one answered the phones. read more

From out of town and had so many bugs on the windows I could not see went to was my truck and spoke to the guy and they said if it's not clean they would send it back through I did not need to one shot and wow it was clean. read more

Love this car wash! The employees are so friendly! The unlimited club makes it so easy, I can go as much as I want for a flat fee. Plus it makes it faster because you have your own lane to enter through. Vacuums are really powerful and the mat washers are neat added bonus! read more

Not impressed with paying almost $20 after TAX. Yes they actually charge TAX. I've never seen that at a car wash before. I noticed after pulling up to the cashier and driving to the conveyer belt there was no actual employee to direct and there was a screen. Ok fine but what about the employees that power washes/spray the wheel wells to get mud and dirt out before going thru the tunnel . After I went thru the expensive wash I Went to vacuum and the sanction hoses kept on coming off. I looked at all 4 wheel wells and they were not even cleaned perfectly. The car was not completely dry and had water spots on car. I will go somewhere else from now on. read more

I paid over $10 for a "rainbow wash" OBVIOUSLY expecting rainbow soap. Unfortunately, they gave me white soap and flashed rainbow lights in the background. It also took maybe 2 minutes for the total wash. Completely overpriced for the quality. Might as well use a bucket and a sponge. read more

Scratched my car in two pretty bad places. I only drive it on the highway and then garage it. So swirl scratches on my hood are impossible. They claim it was there before of course. Have to save face; I know they weren't. Going to cost some money to buff out the scratches. I'd recommend self washing read more

This could be one of the worst new ventures in Lawrence. The car wash is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. But when you get into the car wash is when the problems start. I have an Audi A5 in a dark blue color which was in great shape before I started going to this car wash. The brushes don't seem to be cleaned ever and it has caused my car to be scratched in way too many places to list. Not to mention the last time I went through it ripped my windshield wiper off and has now set off my airbag warning light. So now I have to take my car into Audi for service which is going to cost over 100$ alone. If you have a dark colored car or care about the paint on your car don't use this wash. Go somewhere brushless and where they take care of their systems. I am now going to have to go through over 1,000$ in paint repairs from chips, scratches, and terrible soap ruining my car. And go into service because their system stops and goes when you're in the wash. 100% do not recommend to ever use this car wash no matter how nice it looks on the outside. Save your money and use the other washes in town. Also there's never any help from any management or anything they'll ever do to help you. So bottom line. Skip Tommy's and find somewhere else or wash your car yourself if you care about your car. read more
