Liars and lazy with workmanship. Don't even know how to put a freaking oil drain bolt back in right so your oil change doesn't all leak out!

I dont trust these people. They performed an oil change and a few days later the plastic cover under the oil pan came loose, dragged on the ground and was damaged until i was able to get to a hardware store, buy some wire and wire it back into place. I brought the car back to Pennzoil and they claimed they fixed the problem. When I got home, I inspected it again and there were still two screws missing from the cover plate. Took my Jeep in for an oil change. When they started it up when they were done one of the techs yelled "SHUT IT OFF, SHUT IT OFF!" Not something I wanted to hear. They then proceeded to tell me it was leaking oil "bad" and that I should take it to the dealership and have the oil cooler replaced ASAP! I called the next day to speak to a manager to get clarification on how it could be leaking so bad when it wasn't before the oil change. He was less than pleasant as it was his son who changed my oil. I took it to Jeep that day and the dealership tech said it was NOT leaking at all. I will never go back. read more

I've been here many times since being referred by my mechanic. It is always very fast, very friendly, and they seem to be infinitely more competent than other quick-lube joints. Recently I had a unique situation where I needed a cabin air filter replaced in my folks' car because of mice nesting in the AC. They were very accommodating, and although they couldn't replace it (it had been destroyed and the blower motor assembly had to be replaced), they pulled it apart, showed me the problem, and then let me go, refusing to charge for any of the aborted work. I'm a fan of Firestone... except when you needed an oil change. You need to make an appointment and it takes forever. On the other hand, these guys do it at lightspeed, they do a good job, and they're super friendly. I also get my windshield wipers here, because they managed to install them practically before I finished my sentence asking them to. They also vacuum inside your car while they change your oil. Also, the automatic carwash works just fine. read more

I appreciated their honesty and value added today. The reminder sticker on my car said I needed an oil change Feb. 16 and I assumed I was past due (date of this post is March 24). After assessment, the technician told me it looked really clean and I didnt need an oil change yet. They could have easily just taken my money. Refreshing! read more

I love the convenience of their oil change service, it's pricey but you are paying for how easily you can fit this into your schedule, so I don't have much of a problem with that. Also, they offer a text notification deal that will save you $10 on a service which will show up periodically. Unfortunately sometimes they expire before I really need an oil change so the timing isn't great on them. But my beef with them is the car wash: it has recently been "upgraded" (it even talks to you which is slightly unsettling) but I was interested because the previous one there was pretty fickle and usually didn't do a great job . Well, now it is even worse. It plainly says that the cheapest $7 wash includes a "high pressure wash"; not true. It doesn't, never does come on, you only get soap and a very light (pansy weight) "spot free rinse" and my car (see photos) has these odd "dusty stripes" left all over it even after being through it twice. After the first try I went by and spoke with the owner who tried to explain to me that at that setting it will not get your car completely clean because of something to do with the way the City applies their salt mixture on the roads. Ummmmm, whaaaaat?! I am pretty sure that anyone who buys a car wash at ANY setting would expect that at the very least it will fully rinse your car, or am I just living in bizarro car wash world somehow. The guys knew exactly what they were doing, were very friendly, went above and beyond his expectations, and he loved the waiting room. He was able to watch every move the mechanic made on the monitors in the waiting room. He's been telling our friends, family and employees to give this place a try. read more

Used to be a great car wash but the last four times I've been here, something hasn't worked. Either the coin machine ate your coins, the dial select for the wash or the brush didn't produce soap. Officially done with them. read more

I don't know what "Raco" is but this is a Pennzoil-affiliated car wash. There's self-service and automatic ones. The automatic one is $5-$6.50 depending on what you want. It's fast and easy, and my car looked good afterwards. read more

I've come here for my last two oil changes. Great service, inexpensive, very clean. SO quick too! I walked in and it took them 15 minutes both times. They have multiple view cameras in the lobby so you can see the lube tech working on your car. read more

Westridge Wash and Lube is the best! Though I've never used their normal services, they service my lawn mower (and snow blower) every spring. They clean it, change the oil and spark plugs, and sharpen the blades. And, they come to my house to pick up and drop off the mower!! Usually on the same day that I call in. Highly recommend! read more

I've come here since I moved to Lawrence for oil changes and the service has always been fine, they're right by me, and fast. That would warrant a 5 star. However I was recently in there and was unable to pull up to the bay due to other vehicles blocking my way (and moving at the time). So I parked nearby and walked in. There was one other customer in the store. She left. Another man came in, and the techs greeted him, and completely ignored me. At that point I'd been waiting for a number of minutes, and was standing right at the front counter. They saw him walk in, clearly not the first person in the office. Didn't even address me, or acknowledge me. I'm not sure if they're sexist or just have bad customer service but either way that doesn't work for me. Turns out Firestone on Iowa is cheaper, and they greeted me immediately. I will not be returning to Westridge any time soon. read more

Westridge has changed its automatic car since my last time there, much for the worse, at a higher price. I put $7 in for the automatic wash, went thru it, and came out with an unwashed vehicle. When I talked to the manager, he said the $7 wash was just a "dustbuster." After further discussion, he said he wasn't going to argue with me, and gave me a token for another $7 wash. This did little cleaning also; when I went in to discuss it with him, he wouldn't come out to look at my vehicle, and summarily dismissed me. With such unfriendly customer service for the simple issues of car service, I certainly wouldn't trust Westridge to do any vehicle maintenance service. I drove away with a dirty vehicle, but at least it won't suffer damage from poor maintenance service. read more
