I am fairly new to Arkansas having moved here 18 months ago. I was nicely surprised when I recently used Tommy's Car Wash in Springdale. It was so easy for me to see what I'm doing and to pull into the glass tunnel because it's so open and there was no track system to navigate! At other car washes I worry if I'm going to damage something trying to fit the tire into the track. The management at Tommy's is eager to ensure that I not only have a clean car but also a positive experience. They help so many non-profits that it's a pleasure promoting this business. Today I stopped by your location on Sunset in Springdale, AR to utilize my membership wash plan. Upon approaching the conveyor one of your employees jumped the side of my pickup truck (while it was moving), grabbed stuff out of the bed of it, and jumped out. Generally the bed was clear except for a couple small sticks and a half broken hitch cover (which I wanted to keep). The employee proceeded to throw the items away. While I recognize the bed should be empty - jumping into the vehicle, unannounced or unwelcome, while moving was not only not appreciated but unsafe for both the employee and myself and my family in the vehicle. If there was concern with the items in the bed of the truck, they could have asked me to stop and retrieved the items at that time. While the hitch cover was returned to me - the unprofessional nature of the encounter as well as the pure disregard for safety is unacceptable. I am considering changing my business to another car wash in the area. read more

When Tommy's gives you the "works", they mean it. Worked over my running board really well as it ripped it off. The manager said he'd hopefully let me know something in a few days. Would have taken 60 seconds to watch the video as I was there to see your machine ripping it off. UPDATE: FYI, I don't just "believe" it happened. I know it happened. I heard it happen. When I pulled out, I immediately pulled into the first vacuum bay and saw it. I then immediately went to the manager. He was a douche but ultimately after reviewing the video they confirmed that your tire machine caused the damage (which I clearly knew seeing as I heard it happen). Tommy's is supposed to be paying to have it fixed but will only pay the specific body shop that they have "partnered" with, which is a shady, chop shop looking place. The manager's recommendation was that I downgrade my monthly package to not include tire cleaning as a solution in the future but wouldn't say what was being done to actually fix the machine that caused the damage as he was "not at liberty to say". Why would I ever want to drive my car back through that? read more

This car was is awesome! The service has always been the best in the area + the washes are great. Before I got the monthly membership I was given a free one month pass to try it out! Not many car washes do that! The most recent awesome interaction was today with Ivan! I pulled up to one of the vacuum stations and he greeted me and asked how my day was going while he was cleaning! I wanted to give a special shout out to Jean who works at the Tommy's Express Car Wash on Sunset Blvd in Springdale, AR. On May 10th, my mother had just drove into town from Houston for my son's graduation at the U of A. The SUV was cluttered with bugs from the grill to the windshield, so it needed to be washed quickly. Well, I had a line of cars behind me in the CASHIER LANE, and I was having some issues with my card payment. Jean stepped in and helped me resolve my issue with the upmost professionalism. She didn't panic when a couple of customers started blowing their car horns because it was taking too long. The guys on the wash end were pretty good too! They had to pre scrub the bugs off more than normal. I'm not a member of TE, because I normally wash my own cars by hand, but if I were to ever change...Tommy's Express would be #1 on my list to join. After the long drive from Houston, we had a bug mass casualty event according to our grill and windshield. There were yellow and green guts like you would not believe!!! After pulling into the pay as you go lane, the gentleman at the window said, "Pull it through again if it doesn't clean them all off." I've changed car washes thx to Zips tearing up a set of wheels on a car of mine. This car wash I'm sure will try to screw me over like the other car wash if anything happens to my car. Otherwise it's your basic car wash nice to use until they screw up a set of wheels. They have memberships as well with unlimited washes. Just remember to write a ledger on when you come and the time in case you have a problem. Either or your fixing to get screwed. read more

I used this place to get my Chevy Equinox washed and used their free vacuums to clean out a very dusty and cluttered interior. I'll be back!

I bought the monthly package from Tommys and am more than pleased. I love the conveyor system because I hated tying to negotiate ramps like other places. I tried to tip the nice young man at window but he said they can't take tips ( dumb policy) so thought I'd write a review instead. Axel was the guys name and he was great, gave me some wipe things for my dash and window cleaner which I was in desperate need of! My only complaint is that the drying system was off and barely dried the car so probably just needed calibration. I used to suggest this car wash to anyone with larger than usual tires because of their conveyor belt system. I'm a return customer for over a year now. HOWEVER. I WOULD NOT suggest this car wash after a recent event where I went through the car wash and incurred damage to my windshield. Went in with a clear windshield and pulled out with a crack across the driver side. It's very understandable that these businesses do not cover aftermarket parts that get damaged. However this was my OEM windshield, which now has a crack ranging almost across the whole piece of glass. Just a few days later. I filed a report with the supervisor the minute after I pulled out of the wash and was told I'd receive a call within 72 hours. I didn't. So I pulled up again and was verbally told I'd receive a call. Day 4. Still no call. Day 5 I called and was told that "my report wasn't in the system" So I called and emailed, and was met finally with a call from some guy telling me "there was clear damage to the window before I entered" I asked for the pictures to be sent over to me and was told that they would be given to my insurance if I were to make a claim and that they weren't liable. The windshield can't be repaired, and must be replaced. Is going to cost me a pretty penny because of this businesses dishonest practices. I won't be returning or suggesting this car wash to others anymore. read more

We have a dually truck and have used Tommy's Express many times in GA, and NC without a problem. We were told because our fifth wheel hitch was not covered we could not use the car wash. This was a policy of the owner. We were given a trash bag to cover it. We did not want to risk damaging the car wash. So we left. THIS POLiCY NEEDS TO BE POSTED!!!!!! read more

I've been here several times. I buy the $20 wash, sometimes the $18. Typically there is still some dirt/grime left on the vehicles but it's not enough to say anything. However this past time there was some semi-fresh bird poop on my vehicle and two runs through back to back didn't do the job. The worst part, my car still isn't clean and I'm out $20 which the supervisor said he could not refund. Imagine making minimum wage and treating yourself to a $20 car wash (about 2 hours of hard earned pay) and seeing your car still covered in bird poop. Going back through to remedy the issue, and still it's there. I'm not going to go through a third time. Refuse to waste the precious time I have using a busted wash anymore. They won't even make it right and give a refund. One star justified. Don't let the new building and lights fool you. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The business should put in there description of vehicles they will wash as, Trucks should have no hitches attatched And the truck should be washed prior to being run through the conveyor. I was refused 3 times. The first time they told me nothing allowed in the bed. Ok I complied and returned. The second time They said no hitch as in no ball hitch. Again I complied. The third time they said The bed had dirt in the back of which there was only what you would expect in a dirty truck. After this time i will no longer try to give them any business. I'm very pleased with my experience at Tommy's Car Wash. I'm a pretty picky customer and decided to give them a try. I did not even have to dry off my car after the wash because it was completely dry and streak free. There was no excess soap- which is very common with the automatic car washes I've used. The vacuums were great, fitting in the tight spots. The gentleman at the car wash offered to wash my Weather Tech mats. When he brought them back, they were very clean. I'm completely satisfied with the car wash and will definitely return. read more

Very impressed-- minivan was really dirty after moving halfway across country, summer bugs, etc. I was sure it would take multiple washes and/or detailing to get it back. One quick trip through Tommy's did an impressive Job-- wheels, bugs, road grime-- van looks great! Very friendly employees. Their app is easy to set up -- will use it for future visits. I paid for the works ($20) and had to run it through twice and it didn't clean any of f the bugs off the front or the mirrors. The wheels were also very dirty. FYI they don't prescrub anything. read more

I recently canceled my club membership. I had 2 trucks, so I asked to have my account closed. You would think that under the same name and same account you would cancel both trucks. They didn't and I got charged again, there reasoning was I had 2 trucks and they canceled one. They refuse to give the money back. Have me running everywhere trying to get my refund. Everyone sends me to another and get the same answer, call this person. I may not get my money back but I will tell everyone I know. I work for a large company so I will be sending company email out. read more

Paid $20 for the works. It was the most half ass wash I have ever seen. Road salt still all over my truck. Knocked my mirror backwards. Soon as the soap touched my truck they were washing it off. Not very pleased with that wash at all. read more

The worst car wash I have been to. Recently purchased a new car and went to run it through the wash and it's still filthy and i still had blue stuff all over my car. Needless to say I'm never coming back. Paid for the most expensive wash and could've gotten a better wash for 5$ at a fundraiser. read more

Wow! This modern car wash is nicely laid out, and has friendly staff. First off, there are three check-in lanes to choose from, much like bank drive-ins. Then, after choosing from several cleaning choices, and paying, you drive onto a wide moving track, put your car in neutral, and are pulled through a multi-sequence car wash, followed by a drying station. Once that is complete, you put you car in gear again and drive to one of many vacuuming stations available to finish cleaning the interior of your car. Quick and easy! Oh, and the cost of a basic car is $8.00, I believe. read more

They offer free vacuuming stations and even an automatic washing station for your car mats which I found to be amazing. lol read more
