AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS…read more ive been in NYC for 20 years, and have frequented many many laundromats/wash and fold spots. never have i had an experience like this. customer service/care for customers is horrendous. this was my first and last time here. when i dropped off my laundry i requested to have it all washed on cold. i cant imagine that happened, because two of my shirts' arms are now significantly shorter than before (these are shirts i've had for years) the cherry on the cake was, when i came in, i needed a laundry bag. i saw they had some. i pointed to the laundry bags and asked if i could have one. there was a long pause. i said "i can buy it".... the woman ,still staring at me, and said yes and charged me $6.75 (which is HIGH for a cheap thin laundry bag, USUALLY places just give them to you or charge like $1) whatever... when i arrived back to pick my things up i noticed a sign on the door i missed the first time (it was clearly not a new sign). it said FREE LAUNDRY BAG FOR NEW CUSTOMERS. i asked the woman who checked me out (who was the same one who checked me in) why she charged me (nearly $7 no less) for the same Laundry Bag theyre giving away to new customers for free. she said "well you said you'd buy it" i told her "thats because i didnt know...why didnt you tell me?" again she just stared... i then asked "can i please get it refunded?" "NO. YOU SAID YOUD BUY. YOU BOUGHT" i told her at that point i would not be back. she clearly didnt care. if thats how they treat their potential custoemrs/customers i want no part in this place ...and this all happened BEFORE i knew they ruined two of my shirts... adios.

Black mold, green mold, yellow mold, you name it, it's there (see the pictures). There's clumps of dust in between all the machines. So much so that my guess is it hasn't been cleaned in years. I wish I saw the black mold underneath the detergent flaps before I paid and started the machines. It's utterly disgusting. To top everything off, NONE of the TVs work. I've worked with them a bunch times and each time has been a good experience…read more Brought in a brand new mesh laundry tote here and unfortunately they returned it ripped..I'll give the benefit of the doubt because it's rather delicate and they run a busy business but :/ In their terms there is no obligation or liability for them to reimburse for damages to hampers, etc. Another time my laundry got mixed up with a regulars so had to wait until the evening to get it switched out. Sucks there wasn't a coupon or anything given after. Pretty affordable drop-off service @ about $1.60/lb! Not too bad. They're pretty good about getting your stuff in on time, but if you're in need of a rush order that's gonna cost you $5 extra! $3.50 for a separation too. Something nice is every so often they do special deals on Wednesday if you have the app. You can schedule for service any day just make the order on Wednesday with the code they drop. Friendly staff here who've always been amicable to me, especially Liz. She makes the brief weekly experience so pleasant. :)

After so much time has passed, LOAD is still claiming they are correct in BLAMING ME for delivering my laundry to the WRONG DOOR which resulted it in being stolen. Not only is it NOT LEGALLY my building's fault ( Or mine) since my agreement was with LOAD (not my building) to ensure my laundry was delivered to MY DOOR, not a door NEAR MINE OR A DOOR THAT LOOKED LIKE MINE. Customers DO NOT have to take my review to be true. My original review is still up and has screen shots of how they asked me change my review if they compensated me for THIER ERROR. All future prospective customers have to do is look at 99% of all of their other reviews to see how awful they are. Also, I never got a full refund for the cost of my belongings, I received a portion of what my belongings were valued at. Bottom line: If you value your clothes, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. Buyer beware, this place is unethical and will continue to bother you for months. To make certain they stop, I will contact the Better Business Bureau and report them. That should finally and hopefully put this issue to rest. Also, I use RINSE now and they are prompt, arrive when promised and have not lost a single item once and offer free bags if you don't reach their weight level. If you want GREAT and TRUSTWORTHY service, call RINSE! Load is just that, " A LOAD of you know what".
