Apparently, Jon thinks he gets paid to pitch new clients... After several attempts to contact him regarding matter he never returned the call or offered to remedy the situation. If he had planned on charging for the meeting he should have been more forthright about his intentions and his fee. Steer clear. On the plus side, he seemed reasonably knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions.

On the day of the cleaning, the apartment was cleaned (very well), and the house was not cleaned, and we were billed $249 plus tax ($269 total). I called to try to figure out what had happened and was told that the quote was only for the apartment, and that the charge was lower because the apartment was cleaner than expected. So, it is either a $450 quote to clean a studio apartment, or a $450 quote for both house and apartment which turns into a $270 charge just for the apartment (which was small and recently cleaned already). In either case, I never would have agreed to a $270 cleaning fee for the apartment, which I could have polished up myself in an hour or two.
