Basically, these guys got a ticket by moving my car into the street. Never told me and threw the ticket away! I asked to speak to the guy who was on the phone yesterday because he told me that my total would be 1700$ and supposedly he wasn't working and they did nothing to help me out beside say oh well we can just give u your deposit back knowing I drove 3 and a half hours so I had to pay due to the fact that I drove there from so far the transmission does look nice and new Becuase it only has 26k miles but with the 1 year warranty for parts and labor I paid 2,221$ and felt like shit Becuase that's how they made me feel definitely could have better customer service although it wasn't to bad they could of worked with me on the price instead they basically said then don't buy it we will reimburse ur deposit and didn't try to contact the person I talk to when I paid deposit which I felt was one of the guys there to be honest but could be wrong . I was shell shocked when he informed me and of course he couched the rationalization so that he was guiltless and I was the perpetrator of a crime. I like that Tom's knows and posts the miles on the donor vehicles, and prices accordingly. And the prices are very fair. Another thing, which I have learned, is that many of the eBay and other sellers don't actually even have a yard, or a stock. They do some sort of "drop shipping" of items they never see nor handle. But with Tom's, the part is at their yard... removed and inventoried by them. You know what you are getting, and from where it came: them.
