All they do is drop salt on top of newly fallen snow saying the salt will melt it. I have yet to see them shovel our porch and sidewalk. They came out last week after numerous calls from our HOA president. But they had the blade on their four wheeler too low and it tore up our road. We are down to mud and potholes in parts. Now we have to wait until spring to repair the road with money out of our own pockets. It's a muddy mess right now. The guy across from us is 80 years old and he's been shoveling his driveway. My husband has congestive heart failure and has had to go out and shovel. If they can't do snow removal the way it's supposed to get done for a condominium complex, they shouldn't have taken the job.

I contacted the company for a quote on gutters; they insisted that I be able to meet with the salesman for "x" minutes, so he can show me his "presentation". Not ideal, but I went with it. Beaudy came by and spent 90 minutes with me; taking photos, notes, calling back and forth to the "boss" to get my price lower. They agreed to lower the price if I agreed to allow them to place a sign in my yard for "x" days. Fine, I paid a deposit on that's when the fun started. The day of the install, two people came over that morning. They did not know where things went, They had no idea what a rain barrel was. I walked around with them explaining it all, and then had to leave for vacation. There was a significant language barrier; although they were very professional and worked quickly, they had no instructions. While on the road, I received a call from a guy who was at my house, wanting to review the project and making suggestions on changes due to drainage issues he discovered. I had to pull over to talk to him; I had already spent 90 minutes with Beaudy, then another hour with the install crew, now this cocky guy who I had never heard of. Where was Beaudy? Does he even work for this company? I called the office and asked that Mr. cocky pants gets off my. property and send Beaudy over. When the job was finally "done", it was not done, The rain barrel was left uninstalled; deflectors were missing in several places. The owner (?) Bryan came out several times to fix all of the problems. This is the short version, this was so ridiculous I can't believe it really happened. I finally "found" Beaudy, who said he was out with Covid for 3 weeks. That would have been nice to. know; but I still am not convinced he even works there. BIZARROWORLD.

This company came out in less then 24 hrs, gave me a great price and were back exactly when they said they would be. They finished cutting down 8 large trees and ground out 17 stumps all before 4pm. My yard was left so clean and neat that it looked vacuumed. Not one twig left behind. They also left me neat piles of wood chips that they made from my trees so I don't have to purchase any now. I came home to a wonderfully completely job and my yard looks great. A week later, the first company that came out called me with an estimate, that was almost double and said if I didn't have it done right away, the rates would go up 40% the first of May. I just laughed and said no thank you, I hired a reputable company that didn't gouge me. Big Bear is the only company I will ever recommend for tree service and the only one I will use in the future.
