I called and scheduled an appointment with this company. They came and cleaned for me. So I can say... Whatever you do - NEVER use Tonia's House Cleaning. When I say never I mean NEVER. Not only was the service much less than promised. The owner's attitude is THE most disgusting attitude I have heard in years. In fact, I literally cannot even recall an owner aggressively yelling, but the owner does. I've literally, personally, been bullied by this Company but I'm no longer going to remain silent... you have to stand up to bullies.... YELP-- you should too. It's not right to be bullied. **THE WORK:// I watched them do the work. They made the house look better, but did less than half the time promised. They promised 10-2pm or later if needed. They started at 11:15 and left at 1:15. They also took 3 smoke breaks. Angela the main housekeeper could not keep up and did much less than her assistant. Billy her assistant did the kitchen, he did the heavy lifting. Angela unfortunately should not be cleaning houses for a living. At the last minute she refused to do two rooms -- the walk in closet and a bedroom because it was too dusty. I've never heard of a professional housecleaner being afraid of dust. Even after every single piece of furniture was removed she still didn't do it. They have very low standards on what is acceptable for clean. **SERVICE:// The owner has been harassing me, literally. She has personally cursed me out via text... its quite shameful. Future potential patrons of Tonia's Housecleaning, you will have a tough job talking to her if anything goes wrong. She doesn't care about how bad of a job they did or not honoring the price given. She doesn't care about the customer. **SUGGESTION:// In my opinion -- You shouldn't patronize them, but if you do for some strange reason--- have them do a walk-through of what they can do and get everything in writing first. Make sure it's very clear what they are going to do, record it if needed. In fact, do that for any housekeeping service. **CONCLUSION:// I've had some bad experiences at businesses, but this is now on my top 10 worst businesses in Atlanta list. I also don't like how they have now posted fake reviews... again Yelp, not cool. She quoted the best value by far, and I loved that she was really specific about what was included and what wasn't. She spent about 10 hours between the 2 houses, did a perfect job and impressed me with her attention to detail and general work ethic. Since then, Tonia has been cleaning my house every two weeks, and does a perfect job every time, leaving it clean, sanitized and perfect. She is a great communicator and always checks in with me the day before coming. I have never felt more trust or comfort with anyone I let into my home. I've tried several house cleaning companies over the past few years that have ranged from good enough to awful, until I found Tonia, who is the absolute BEST. She did a move in cleaning for my first house and it was like new. For several months since she has been working it and I can't overstate the quality of her work. She goes above and beyond, working around my three floors of remodels, unpacking, and general chaos. She just does a fantastic job, as well as I would do and that's saying something (I'm pretty OC about my place). She's also always so friendly, happy, animated, and professional. I'll keep her as long as she is available. The opening review here is just insane to me. Nothing at all like my experience over the past several months has been with her. I saw those photos...that house was not 'dusty', it was completely wrecked. Uninhabitable. It reminded me of a bad asylum murder haunted house I once went through.
