What a great place!!! Talk about great food, choice and and I got to eat in!!! You would have…read morethought I died and went to heaven. The menu has an option of 5 choices for $25. I was expecting the portion size to feed a bird. Was I ever wrong. My sister and I shared the 5 choices. We both had the lobster shrimp Mac and cheese. I was expecting to have to hunt for the lobster like I was fishing for it on the East Coast. I had no problem finding the lobster or the shrimps. We also ordered the calamari, coconut shrimp and fish tacos. It was delicious. We topped it off with peach pie! Oh with fresh whipped cream and ice cream! Damn now it's COVID26 pounds. If you order the "all you can eat fish dinner" on Tuesdays, you can get 6 pieces of Alaskan pollack! You can eat in or take out. Lunch special is 2 piece fish and chips with slaw and drink OR fish tacos ('my choice) for $11. This is my new go to place in Brantford. It's worth the drive from Toronto.

We go to Brantford at least once a month to visit family, and have always been curious about Joey's…read more(the little yellow cartoon fish is cute). Unfortunately, we have to report that's it "meh", at best. The food itself is edible, but not particularly flavourful - it's like it was made to appeal exclusively to old people with greatly diminished palettes, which might explain why we always see the place peopled, sparsely, with an older clientele (the night we actually ordered, there were two tables of middle-aged to elderly patrons - it was a Saturday). Ordered the Basic Fish and Chips (meh), and the Salmon Salad (also, meh). Not sure how they can afford to pay the half-dozen staff that we saw "working" there that night. Service was not good - very distracted and obviously NOT interested in providing any kind of assistance to people who've never been there before. LOTS of socializing going on at the front counter where they have an open window to the kitchen (all among employees and none with Customers, of course). Seriously, you'd think they'd kind of want to be extra nice to/professional with newer, younger faces that arrive on their doorstep. Usually, price is the last of my concerns, since I'm more than happy to pay more for great food and good service, but I have to say they overcharge for what you get. Over $40 for a smallish Fish and Chip plate and a tiny salad with chopped up bits of salmon. Really don't understand how this place stays afloat.

We were at The Keg to celebrate my birthday…read more First, the table we were seated at was not properly cleaned. The cocktail menu has what looked like a booger with a long hair stuck to it. Second a plate had a black particle stuck to it. Next, the table had some kind of flakey chaff scattered sparingly over it. Pointed these out to the server, Cole, and he dealt with them. It bothered me that he said that the black particle was just fluff. Fluff would blow away but this was solidly stuck on. Second, I ordered a 6 oz sirloin that also came with a lobster tail for $64 and an extra side of mushrooms. My 6 oz sirloin steak was tough but cooked and flavoured nicely. The garlic mashed potatoes was a gelatinous mass with barely any garlic flavour. When the bill came I was charged for a 6oz steak with an added side of lobster which when added up cost over a hundred dollars. When I asked the server about it he said there was nothing on the menu that was like what I thought I had ordered. I found this odd but deferred to the servers knowledge thinking he would not stiff a retiree. So I paid the exorbitant extra amount and started to leave, but it bothered me. So i stopped at the desk at the exit and asked for a menu. I found the exact thing I ordered on the menu just like I pointed out to the server when I first ordered. I asked the manager who was there and he fumbled some words which I couldn't hear. In disgust that they would commit a fraud on seniors like us, I left. As I went out the door I heard him finally speak up and say he was willing to "adjust". I yelled back that it was about the principle, not the $45 difference. I'm fortunate that I can recover from a $45 fraud. I could only image how many young couples or other seniors making a special night out of going out to the Keg would be negatively effected. Never again KEG. You've given this old techie consultant a new purpose. I will ask my network to upload my story about how fraudulent your company truly is. Good Day, Mr. Jaffray.

We came here on Monday evening and we were excited to eat! We were greeted by a friendly staff at the front desk, who directed us to go up the stairs, where there will be patio seating areas. From there, another staff member confirmed our reservation and directed us to a seat. Our waitress welcomed us and brought the menu, then she left to get some cold water for us. My partner picked half pound of chicken wings with fries, and I chose Three Sisters Bowl. Both of us enjoyed our meal, our orders came out hot and fresh. The only downside was the portion size- we both felt that it was small in comparison to the price. During our meal, our waitress came by to check-in on us to make sure that we were enjoying our meal and had everything that we needed. The views were beautiful as we have read! This place gets very busy, so we would recommend that you make a reservation in advance!

The salad was very small and was rather boring. Still felt hungry after having it but didn't want to order anything else. The Baked chicken parm was food sized but they used packaged shredded cheese was very disappointing but the chicken was good. Pasta was pretty boring also because it looked like a home cooked meal and not restaurant quality. It was an okay sizw meal though. Service was rather slow and the server was not exceptional. The restaurant was not very busy and we still had to wait about fifteen minutes until we were seated. Didn't feel very welcomed. The ambiance was pretty good especially the patio area though. Music wasn't loud or overbearing and there were a couple of tvs by the bar that didnt have any sound coming out. The bar looked good and there was not a designated bartender maybe because it was lunchtime. The restroom was clean and odorless which is a plus.
