This past week it was time to take my parents out for their 50th anniversary. Called over there a few weeks ago and talked to someone and she said come on it they are early people don't worry too hard about just a couple of us. The other night we showed up at 445 and the highschool girls cocked an attitude that omg you don't have a reservation for 3 and we can't help you. One of the season waitress overheard and took care of us and seated us. Salads were great like normal. Baked potato and brown potatoes were great. Steak was nothing to write home about and was a tuff monster.. Was too full to do desert and took mom and dad back home. Good was that we were in and out in less than an hour. As I was leaving I noticed half the tables were still empty. Was kinda schitty that 80 year old dad that can't walk had to sit on the high tables. Used the bathrooms before we left and they were nasty. My eyes really opened up on this visit and didn't leave a great taste in our mouth for a $200 dinner.

Both models were 2 floors generally nice. I did like this most recent one better because it had a front deck and way better seating areas in my opinion. Staff were nice. The bar/snack options were only okay in my opinion. Very limited to type of drinks they could mix and also a tiny bit of inconsistency depending on who made the drink. The drinks were reasonably priced. The rental package I guess required a meal plan - which chips and salsa and veggie tray were chosen. They also sold a few snacks at the bar (a few typical bar snacks). We were able to use our own device to place music via an aux. It was a 2 hr event, we had so much fun the time went by really fast. When booking a private cruise, it is mandatory to select a food package so keep in mind that the price of the boat you see online does not initially include the total of the food costs and the additional taxes and fees. The staff have always been so nice and really create a fun environment. It always goes by fast because we are all having so much fun! I will continue booking through them because we have never had a bad experience.

However, from the start, the captain helped us get a wheelchair down the ramp and into the ship, the servers checked on us a few times, and when it was over, another staff member helped us get up the ramp. Not only did they help us up and down the ramp, but they also did it despite having it under control. They could have easily let us be. However, they went the extra mile and were so kind. My client felt so seen!

The reservation system online is down, so we made a reservation through text. It seemed sketchy, but they don't collect payment until after the boat ride is complete so we had nothing to lose! The cost is $100 per hour for the boat and it can fit up to 6 people - it was a great value! We booked a one hour tour and went all the way to the locks by the Stone Arch Bridge. It was cool to see St Anthony Falls up close and our captain was great company and had lots of cool facts about Minneapolis and the River. You can bring your own food and drink onto the boat, so we split a bottle of rose. There is a table in the middle with cup holders and bench seating all around the bow of the boat. It's electric so it's very quiet and easy to have conversation. We had a great time and for such a great price, we will absolutely be bringing friends and family to try this out!

The seats are so comfortable and the coolers and ice are built into the bar in front of you so you never have to get up. They have charging stations with usb ports and cords. You can charge your phone so you will never miss a photo opportunity. They supply music or you can plug in your own play list. The bathroom on board is definitely better than a port a john. It's clean, comfortable, and has a flushing toilet. The boat has a canopy to help block some of the sun on hot days. The captain and all the owners we encountered were extremely nice and accomedating. The lake was beautiful. We did the 3 hour cruise for a bachelorette party. What was nice about this boat is when you got tired or just didn't feel like peddling they have a motor to take over for you. When your done with the cruise they shuttle you back to your car. The whole experience was very well planned out and ran smoothly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great time on the lake. You will not be disappointed.
