I think the original food promoted was ribs and southern fried chicken but we actually had appetizers (meatballs & eggrolls) and 2 different salads, rolls and chicken alfredo for the main dish. They had an assortment of desserts. We actually had ribs and chicken the day before so the pasta was great. They offered free soda & had a cash bar. You could sit on either level, w/ options to see the front or back of the yacht. the lower lvl had indoor seating. We were able to play music. The 2 staff we had on the boat were nice & very personable. Loved the touristy facts we got while on the lake. Lake Minnetonka is filled with gems. Such a fun time with family!

It was a perfect two-hour tour, accommodating about 30+ guests, including a pastor who was able to come on board to lead the service. Everything looked pristine, with white tablecloths on all the tables, and they were so accommodating in letting us bring in our own floral arrangements to personalize the space. The setup was incredibly quick and easy, thanks to their modern amenities, including a casting system for the television and a Bluetooth-compatible sound system for our music. we held a biodegradable floral release off of the back of the boat for a memorial service. A special thank you to Stephanie for helping us coordinate and to Captain Todd and all of the amazing staff for being so accommodating. Despite some rain, they made sure everything was flawless for our small, intimate event. This wasn't our first time with Paradise Charter Cruises; we have enjoyed many casual cruises and family events with them on Lake Minnetonka over the years. Every time has been wonderful, and this was yet another perfect event to honor my mom. To top it all off, my husband, my eight-year-old son, and I returned for a follow-up cruise a couple of days later to enjoy the lake and reflect on the celebration. they gave my son special captain privileges which were part of an amazing memory. Both models were 2 floors generally nice. I did like this most recent one better because it had a front deck and way better seating areas in my opinion. Staff were nice. The bar/snack options were only okay in my opinion. Very limited to type of drinks they could mix and also a tiny bit of inconsistency depending on who made the drink. The drinks were reasonably priced. The rental package I guess required a meal plan - which chips and salsa and veggie tray were chosen. They also sold a few snacks at the bar (a few typical bar snacks). We were able to use our own device to place music via an aux. It was a 2 hr event, we had so much fun the time went by really fast. The reservation system online is down, so we made a reservation through text. It seemed sketchy, but they don't collect payment until after the boat ride is complete so we had nothing to lose! The cost is $100 per hour for the boat and it can fit up to 6 people - it was a great value! We booked a one hour tour and went all the way to the locks by the Stone Arch Bridge. It was cool to see St Anthony Falls up close and our captain was great company and had lots of cool facts about Minneapolis and the River. You can bring your own food and drink onto the boat, so we split a bottle of rose. There is a table in the middle with cup holders and bench seating all around the bow of the boat. It's electric so it's very quiet and easy to have conversation. We had a great time and for such a great price, we will absolutely be bringing friends and family to try this out!

It's clean, comfortable, and has a flushing toilet. The boat has a canopy to help block some of the sun on hot days. The captain and all the owners we encountered were extremely nice and accomedating. The lake was beautiful. We did the 3 hour cruise for a bachelorette party. What was nice about this boat is when you got tired or just didn't feel like peddling they have a motor to take over for you. When your done with the cruise they shuttle you back to your car. We spent an unforgettable 10 days hiking the (express!) Inca trail to Machu Picchu and visiting Lima, The Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes and Cusco. I could write 10 pages about how much we loved traveling with Knowmad so I'll try to stick to the highlights. My husband and I usually handle all of our own travel planning, but when we came across Knowmad while researching how to visit Machu Picchu we realized we would probably get a lot more out of a trip to Peru traveling with specialists from the country. Our travel specialists Renee and Shannon found a way for us to do everything we wanted to do (and so much more!) while staying within our budget.
