Told us to go eat elsewhere since we had more than 10 people even though the restaurant was empty. Never had that happen before.

While on a Midwest road trip from Georgia, I stopped in Springdale for a family event honoring my uncle. I had only been in town for about an hour when I found this restaurant on Yelp, conveniently located near my hotel. The full parking lot gave me hope; usually a great sign when looking for local gems. I walked in with my 11-year-old daughter and was greeted by a male host who let me know there would be a 30-minute wait due to short staffing. I noticed three vacant tables but understood the situation and agreed to wait. There was nowhere to sit inside, so I walked my daughter back to the truck. After 15 minutes, I saw another couple enter. A waitress immediately approached them and seated them at one of the vacant tables. I returned to the door and asked if something had changed. The same waitress told me again that they were short-staffed. I asked if the newly seated couple had reservations; she said they don't take reservations. So I asked plainly; why were we skipped? No clear answer. Just the same explanation repeated. Thankfully, the original male host returned, and I explained the situation. He apologized and seated us. But the issues didn't stop. We sat at our table for 10 more minutes without even being acknowledged, while guests seated after us were already receiving drinks. I had to stop a waitress and ask who our server was; it turned out to be the same young lady who had previously overlooked us. Despite all this, I chose to respond with kindness and good energy. Still, the experience weighed on my daughter. I could see it in her face; she wanted to leave. I had to encourage her to eat once the food arrived. She felt the mistreatment. I took it as a teaching moment and reminded her that while we can't control how others treat us, we can control how we respond. Being different in appearance doesn't mean we deserve different treatment. Our money is just as green. I've served this country during multiple military deployments, protecting freedoms abroad; only to return home and feel disrespected in a small American town. To the young lady: if you sat with me for five minutes, maybe you'd understand why treating others with dignity matters. To the host who stepped in and made it right; you are the reason I served. And to be clear: I left a generous tip--not for the service, but so there would be no misconceptions. I don't ask for handouts. I've worked my whole life to provide for my family. I simply expect respect in return. read more

Wrong food delivered, terrible service, no one sorry for the mess. Definitely won't come back. Beer glass has been empty for over half an hour with the place 20% full. Everyone should be getting excellent service. Wrong order of wings delivered and when I said something to the young guy serving (or supposedly serving us) his comment was I can't help what the kitchen makes. Who are you kidding? Check the order before it comes out. Then when he took them back, they were brought back to me ice cold. Who wants cold wings? What an idiot he is! Hopefully he is either new or having a terrible night. They haven't heard of clearing tables either. Piles of plates everywhere, empty glasses stacking up. Starting here. You know how I feel about lime Wheels. Completely ineffective and a waste of the owner's money, so let's go ahead and shave one star from the get-go. Place was really clean, people were really nice, bartender was really attentive and polite. Well, attentive for the most part. I order my signature cocktail, with extra lime, and for whatever reason bartenders do not understand that I order extra lime to consume, I'm not ordering it as an aesthetic. So right off the bat, I'm irritated. Let's get to the food. I ordered 10 "acid rain" wings, and 10 dry rub jalapeno ranch wings. The dry rub rings were quite unflavorful, to the point where if you were serve them and ask to guess the flavor, you would basically say "chicken". Super bland. The acid rain wings were supposed to be one step hotter than Buffalo. I have a really high tolerance for spicy food, and I'm a two-time Buffalo wild wings blazing challenge champion, so I'm no stranger to hot spicy wings. These weren't really all that hot, and they weren't really all that wet. They could have used more sauce, and again, like the dry rub wings, pretty bland. Although, the wings were cooked perfectly. If I'm ever in this area again I can't say that I won't go back, because it wasn't all that bad, but there's definitely room for improvement, especially on the flavor scale with their wings. I don't care what anyone says! This place has some of the best wings. The sauce I get is the atomic sauce and man... doesn't get any better than that! The service is always nice at the bar, and fast. The only thing downside is that they close too early, and also it's expensive comparing to other places... but definitely worth the price. I got the honey chipotle boneless wings and they were BOMB GOOD! Our waitress let us sample multiple sauces because they have OVER 40! We are frequent Foghorns visitors. Tonight might be our last visit for a while to the Springdale location. The floors were dirty and very sticky-so sticky your feet stick with each step. Tables were dirty including ants on table. We had to ask two times for Razorback baseball game to be turned on. Ladies bathroom has had one of two toilets not working for months. Today the other one was without toilet paper and was gross. My margarita was just ok today-not as good as usual. Not sure if under new management or what had happened. Hoping the issues are addressed before more lost business. read more

Wow. I mean wow. Friday night after an Arkansas sporting event. 9 PM walk int the door to a guy who obviously hated to look up from his phone to greet us. Begrudgingly said sit wherever. I would definitely recommend Foghorns for everything but the nachos! The chicken wings/tenders are the stars here. The nachos had a strange tasting cheese sauce & the ground beef didn't have any flavor- should've gotten the chicken. Fried pickles were good! Our server though, was awesome! She was on top of keeping our drinks filled & was just sweet in general. For the service on this evening, 3.5. For the chicken I took off my BF's plate, 4.0. Not sure if turning away 20 people is a good idea when they aren't busy. Flavor! That's what I'm talking about. I went with a simple order: 10-piece traditional wings with bbq dry rub and a chocolate fried pie. That and a sweet tea ran me about $20. I could tell my food was made to order. I enjoyed every bite, wings and pie. My server Shelby was on point as well. She kept my glass full and was very efficient the whole time. I ate at this place a few days ago and the meal looked like it was thrown onto the plate by a crazed lunatic. As we sat around wondering what could have gone wrong with the food i suddenly saw a man drenched in sweat staggering out of the kitchen. He took about two steps and collapsed onto the floor! Several other employees ran out of the kitchen to assist. Everyone looked like they had just stepped out of a sauna. One of the other cooks threw a bucket of ice onto the head of his collapsed colleague and thankfully the guy regained consciousness. I asked the waitress what could be going on and she said that the AC goes out every summer! I thought the whole situation was already pretty bad but then, unbelievably, it got worse! As the overheated cook staggered to his feet, a manager from the back office showed up and said "YOURE FIRED"!!!! I was totally blown away. We stopped here, because I have a gluten allergy and they advertised a gluten free menu. After asking questions nothing here is truly gluten free as they do not have a dedicated fryer. Additionally staff was not informed about what gluten is or even what it isn't. For each thing she had to go ask. I hope the person she was asking was better informed. It bothers me that a food server wouldn't know at the very least what gluten was. I hate dining out anyway, because I'm the weirdo with the food allergies. It makes me feel even more frustrated when the server has to go back and forth to check ingredients especially when I am ordering off an supposedly gluten free menu. Great wing joint/sports bar atmosphere. It's in the building that was the Bleu Monkey and it is night and day after the huge remodel. I was shocked at how great it looked compared to what it looked like before. It's really nice that they had enough space to separate the bar area from the dining room so it is really family friendly. I went right after the opened and the wait staff was still a little overwhelmed with learning all the menu and the process but I stop their frequently now and service has always been top notch. I like the huge amount of televisions and they will put on whatever sport you desire if you ask. Now to the food. It is bar food/wings but done to an excellent level. They have 50 some odd flavors of wing sauce and they are GOOD. I just found Spicy Garlic Parmesan and I am now hooked. I'll miss you Kung Fu, Spicy Gold, and Habanero Honey! They have both traditional wings and HUGE boneless wings. If you aren't in the mood for wings then their burgers are hand-pattied and fresh and the Philly Cheesesteak is the best in town.
