I have been here on 3 different occasions. Each time waiting at least an hour just to get my food. Let me tell you how busy it never is! Each time my food was cold, and disappointing. Not only was the food not worth the price. The service completely fails, hard. When I'm waiting an hour for my food. Don't make me wait without a refill until I get my food. Don't act like you're better then everyone else, and a smile would be nice! Over all, ill never go to the place again. read more

I have been there 3 times now and each time it keeps getting worse. I don't think that I will ever go back. The entrance area is really small so there is never any room to stand, and there is always people paying for their meals there so it just clogs up the area and people always end up standing outside. I would have to say the food is a 3 star but the service is a one star so I will settle on two. The first time I went there is when they first opened and no one really knew what was going on, but I gave the waitress a break because she was bran new. The second time I went there we didn't get to see our waitress for the first half an hour and then when she finally did come and we were able to order it took the food another hour to come. The last time that I went there was the straw the broke the camels back. I went there with a group of friends and when the waitress finally came after the first half an hour wait she sternly told us that we were going to have to pay a 15% gratuity for having a large group. OK fine I will pay the 15% that seem fair but I was hoping for at least average service, but no I was disappointed yet again. It took our waitress 20 to even start bring water to our tables, and then another 20 minutes to start taking our orders. After the orders were in it took them and I am not exaggerating because I checked my watch an hour an 15 minutes for our food to come out. And then when I got my food I didn't have any utensils so I had hungrily wait another 5 minutes while my food got cold for some utensils. The food was OK, certainly nothing special. Our server was not serving any other tables so I don't know where she would disappear to for half an hour at a time. Maybe she was playing video games in the back and she couldn't be away from her controller too long, or maybe she was doing some crafts, or maybe she was tending a batch of newly borne kittens, your guess is as good as mine, but whatever she was doing she was not serving us, and when she was she was grumpy about it, 15% gratuity for that give me a break. Update: I was forced to go there for a business lunch and the carrots in my salad tasted like fish. read more

Went there tonight and it was awesome. Had a great time and it was someone's birthday that I was with and they made it even better . Having read the reviews I just put it down to " people in Medicine Hat love to complain club" WILL DEFINITEY BE BACK. read more

Always love the food at Tony Roma's! Have been there a number of times this year and had great food and service!

I wish i could give negative stars for this restaurant. Been to this restaurant 4 times and every time the service gets slower and slower, food comes out dry, and don't expect to get a refill on your drink. If theyre so understaffed they should consider hiring, or changing something. We waited 40 minutes just to pay, and server asked why there was no tip. read more

lunch specials no longer so special and quality has gone down hill ,eg. 3 piece rib special (that were over cooked ) now doesn't come with coleslaw and if you don't want the crappy small handful of fries and want a salad instead it will cost you 2.50, we won't be back ,looks like they are trying to cut corners ,but in reality it's their own throat they are cutting , Not really impressed read more

We were handed greasy, food splattered menus which required a sanitization of the hands after handling,a quick look around revealed mashed potatoes finger-painted on the walls and a sticky table top that smelled like it was wiped with a musty bar towel( you know? That forgotten laundry smell!) The burger was a charcoal brick with a dollop of jellied mozzarella on top with cold pre-cooked onion(a food safety course would show this is a bad idea) The riblets were given a "eaahhh" with a shoulder shrug and both sets of fries were cool and looking like the heat lamp failed them miserably. This was before the after noon rush and no reason for such sad quality, our server was friendly and good ,however, it was to bad her coworkers dropped the ball.The kids in our group did enjoy there food, but then I have seen at least one of them chew there own diaper....I don't think I'll trust their opinion just yet. read more
