Since the building is both commercial and residiential, one of the biggest concerns was minimizing disruption to tenants, and of course keeping everything on budget and organized. From the start, Royal Renovators seemed to understand these concerns and put together a plan that worked around the building's daily operations. The existing roof was removed, damaged areas were addressed/fized, and a new roofing system was installed along with snazzy updated flashing and drainage improvements. Communication throughout the project was - chefs kiss - and we always knew what stage things were in. As expected, there were additional conditions unconvered that needed to be addressed. But, these guys were transparent about it, laid out the options like they did before, and it didnt turn into pressure or surprises. Our 12 year old roof was leaking. Arnie first had one of his workers come over to check the roof…read moreout. That person gave me preliminary findings and showed me pictures of problem areas on the roof. Arnie came by another day to go over the requirements of what would be needed to install a new roof, his credentials and the guarantees offered. He then provided me an estimate that night. A few days later, his workers came, tore off the old roof, put new plywood throughout the whole roof, lined the roof and then shingled it. They had almost the whole roof done in a day, but did need a little time the next morning to finish up (which Arnie previously told me might happen). The workers were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and worked hard. They left the property very clean. A few days after the new roof was installed, we had a few days of very heavy rain and the roof did great. I would highly recommend Arnie Blake for roofing. I would bet that his company's work in other areas are just as good.
