First off, I understand these are "Covid times" and some corners will be cut. But seriously! When I ask for and pay for extra sauce that means extra sauce!! Really good pizza!! I came in 15 minutes before they opened and they said they can take my order but make it when they open. I explained to Clarissa I'm in a hurry and she understood and did me the favor by making the pizza earlier. The food was okay but the chicken wings were lacking. Also, the service staff forgot to give is our beverages. The main reason we went to Tony's in the first place was to try their pizza and to play in their kids gaming area. If that's the case for your visit, prepare to be extremely frustrated since the various games kept taking my godson's coins (four different machines). I played ski ball with him but there were only 3 balls in the reserve shoot. The availability of games is very minimal. Don't even deserve 1 star. But for this review i guess it does. If you wanna wait an hour or so for some pizza this is the place for you. Been going to Tony's for about 15+ years if not more. It's just Not the same any more. Wait times are getting longer, the food is always good, well sometimes.... I don't know her name but she always has an attitude everytime I walk in, always telling other workers to do something while she just talks HAHA. If you try calling ? Good luck, called numerous times and always got put on hold. And most of the time they keep the call on hold for 20+ minutes. THATS RIDICULOUS! I knew Tony great man, honest, trustworthy, and a man to his word. Bless his soul, but if he was still living amongst us with his smile and jokes I'm sure the Tonys then wouldn't be as bad as it is now. read more

Tony's pizza parlor, please do not get this confused with Tony's firehouse. Don't be mistaken. I visited this pizza parlor Wednesday night at 7:30. I stood at the counter while 7 girls talked about Ruben and Snapchat, they all saw me walk up, they saw me waiting, it took them about 2 minutes to ask if I needed help. V finally helped me, bless her heart. I had to pick up my order, a very large order, and when she turned to ask the 7 girls if it was ready it took her a couple of times of asking for her to get an answer. The girls were so consumed in their conversation about Snapchat they didn't care that the customers waiting in the lobby could hear. V finally figured out my order and asked me if I was by myself and if I needed help taking such a large order out to my car, I said yes and started taking some of the pizzas to my car. Every time I came back inside she kept telling me someone was coming to help me, 20 pizzas and 8 two liters later, no one ever came to help. The pizza wasn't great, it was too saucy. I would have hoped for better service because we always order from there and in large quantities, but sadly their costumer service has failed. read more

I went today took more then 2 hours to get our pizza. I was there waiting and the employees started fighting and yelling amongst themselves with customers just standing around watching. Very bad service and poor customer service. I dont know why they employ workers if there going to be fighting and ignore customers then doing there job and provide good customer service. I'm basing this entire review on their Chili Verde Pizza. AMAZING! It is shredded pork with a verde sauce on top. This stuff could be totally addicting. If you are looking for some flavor filled pizza, this is the stuff. Unlike some of the other reviewers the staff seemed helpful and courteous. The pizza took a little while but was worth the wait. If you are annoyed with little kids running around and screaming call ahead and take your pizza to go. There were quite a few young ones wrecking shop on anything and everything while their parents sat oblivious at their table. I'm here on business and came on a recommendation of the chili verde. I will definitely be recommending to my coworkers who come here in the future!! read more

I love this place, yeah sometimes the people that work at the back can be a bit snobby but still the best pizza ever. When I was preggo with my son, I always craved for their pizza and breadsticks. Their menu is slowly expanding and I remember going there almost everyday during middle school just to buy me a slice and buy a soda just to end my day, bad or good then go home straight because I didnt want my parents going all cray cray and have the cops searching out for me. Tony's Pizza Parlor- like a hole in the wall pizza place that's been around for ages, since I was about 4 or 5 years old and I am now 26....not to be confused with Tony's Pizza, a ma and pa chain pizza place throughout Kern County, like at California Ave and Fort Tejon. Tony's Pizza Parlor is one of a kind. Not aesthetically pleasing, per se. Dim with an almost grunge like feel. Has sticker machines up front, arcade, lots of tables spread out. I remember my first time trying their pizza when I was about 4 at a family get together, a memory that has stuck with me because I believe it is just so delicious. Piping hot, perfect crust, aromatic and fulfilling cheese that melds seamlessly with the toppings. I prefer Canadian bacon and pineapple or pepperoni mushroom olive. Love their pizza and have received good service more than half of the time, hit or miss. Sometimes I feel rushed but they are busy and they were never explicitly rude. Usually order take out......there's a reason why it's been around so long. Don't know why it's rated low-ish on here, but I love it, along w/ fam and friends. read more

Honestly, this place is pretty terrible I haven't been to other pizza parlors in this town, but if this is the best Delano has to offer , stick with Mexican joints. I tried the lunch combo (slice, salad and soda for $6) and the. 8 wings for $5. Everything was disappointing. The pizza slice was only Luke warm, and the ham on the Hawaiian pizza tasted old and looked disgusting. The pizza itself was pretty terrible in general. The wings were possible the worst I've ever had in my life. A pile of hot mush, I ate two and then gave up on them. The one positive is you get a large cup for soda, so hopefully diabetes gets me before I have to eat at this place again. read more

Growing up in Delano there was always a couple of options when it comes to pizza. For me, it always has and will be Tony's Pizza. I am a fan of the other places chili verde pizza, but when it comes to quality and consistency, Tony's is the top dog in Delano. I remember having bday parties and sporting event parties here growing up and eating slice upon slice of that delicious pizza. The building and decor definitely needs an upgrade and let's please get the ac looked at please. The pizza is just awesome. There's a reason why they have expanded outside of Delano into Bakersfield, Porterville and Tulare. A second location will be opening soon off of county line which will be a Tony's Pizza/ Tony's Firehouse Grill. Excited to see what kind of entrees are offered at the new location. I hear the Shafter location has a similar set-up. Whenever your in Delano and want to pick up a good tasting pizza, Tony's should be #1 on your list. read more

We enjoy the thin crust combination pizza. Usually the crust is nice and crisp, but the last two times it has been soggy. Despite the soggy crust however, it was still surprisingly tasty. We also usually order the Hawaiian. It is also quite tasty, it comes with bell peppers in addition to the pineapple and Canadian bacon. We are not big fans of their wings or sides. Customer service is terrible. They definitely get a thumbs down on how they speak to customers. Ordered over the phone and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes which when we arrived, ended up waiting 20 minutes more because they forgot to cook our wings. Didn't get to enjoy our pizza hot and fresh as we would have liked to. So many employees there and only a quarter of them are actually working. Whenever we visit Delano, we always stop by Tony's! We took it for granted when we lived here, but now that we've moved far, it seems like there isn't anything like it! Pizza was on point! We got a large half pepperoni and half chile verde and a large pepperoni. They both came out to ($35.15) I definitely recommend them. The pepperoni has a great flavor. Beer is $2 for a 16oz mug and everything has a good price. read more

This business needs help. We had 6 families meeting up in this city, and we decided to go this place so that the children could play games and the adults could eat and enjoy an anniversary celebration for one of the couples. It was an absolute disaster. The service was HORRIBLE. It took 36 minutes to get an order of potato wedges. Everyone was finished eating by the time I got my food. When I asked for ketchup, the server picked up packets of ketchup with his hands (no gloves) and dumped them right on top of my food. DISGUSTING! He did it in a rude manner, so I guess it was his way of saying FU because he got in trouble by the manager for making me wait so long (I was not the only one who had this problem in our group. Some just gave up and asked for their food to go). In any case, it was very unsanitary and he should not be working in a food establishment. The system of ordering is crazy. You order your food, wait forever, you can't hear the PA system if you sit down, so you stand for at least 30 minutes in the lobby, then you have to go back to the original cashier to get your drink order (in styrofoam cups no less). It's bizarre. Something is definitely broken. The manager was kind. She refunded my money, and I understand the pizza was very good once they got it. But it was a special night and the unorganized system at this restaurant really messed it up. We had to constantly get up and check on our food, so it broke the social atmosphere of our gathering. They brought an extra pizza for the group (I don't eat pizza, but that was really nice). So, the manager tried her best, but I believe she had stepped out and things just kind of deteriorated from there. Shame. It seems like it could be a warm place if it had a better/updated system, including the play-at-your-own-risk games. read more
