Great Chicago style pizza! Cheesy, crispy, chewy crust with that tomato sauce on top-spiced up just right with veggies and Italian sausage that tasted homemade to me. Our server was nice -and fast. The bartender made a great Bloody Mary while we waited (our pizza was to go). She was also friendly and happy to be there. Refreshing on a Sunday at noon. They had a couple big groups inside as we were leaving and a few at the bar. Seemed like a nice local place to relax and have a beer and pizza. Tony's was so solid pizza! A coworker and I stopped here after a day of work and this hit the spot. I initially wanted to try the deep dish, but wasn't willing to wait 30 mins so I opted for the thin crust and it was still great! I ate a decent amount of the pie and still had leftovers for the next day so it ended up being a great price! I just got a pepperoni pizza with black olives. The atmosphere was nice, it has several TVs and all the big college games on and the place was heavily decorated for Christmas. Even with the sports setting, it wasn't overly loud. We had a quick and efficient waiter who got us our order in a timely manner and our drinks. Definitely would come back here when I have more time to try the deep dish! read more

Fabulous restaurant in downtown Moline. I've come here now twice and enjoyed my experience each time. The first time was a takeout order and the second time was a dining in the first time I had the buffalo chicken salad, which was phenomenal and the second time I was able to have some deep dish pizzaside salad and also sell hotdog. Alexis (another server) was constantly behind the bar taking care of all the glasses while also taking care if her own tables. I have always highly recommended Tony's for their wings.. Never again. The wings we got were rubbery, almost all drumsticks, and unappetizing to look at. When we first started ordering wings from Tony's, they were amazing! Double fried and adequately sauced! We stood over the kitchen sink devouring them in the sweet chili sauce! Not at all what we received this time. I actually had to air fry them to get a little crisp and it was just completely unappetizing. Ordered the sample platter for an appetizer. The mozz sticks were pretty small and didn't have the melty cheese pull. The wings were boneless (was hoping for traditional) and the fried ravioli was just okay. I'm usually pretty easy to please. Ordered the deep dish and while it was tasty, there needs to be more cheese. It's a pretty good taste, but just not as thick as the Chicago deep dish. And no cheese pull. :( read more

Yum!!!! Deep dish pizza was delicious and the fried calamari was tender and yummy. Service was great as well. Only complaint--don't mop the floors in the dining area with bleach WHILE there are still customers. Smelled bad and couldn't even walk to the restroom due to the wet floors. Tonys started in 7th street in Moline a few years ago. My family and I stopped in wanting to try the Chicago hot dogs. The service was attentive and quick the hot dogs lived up to the Chicago dog reputation which lend us to continue visiting. Tonys has moved to downtown Moline(the old Barrel House) and the building is rustic w old brick and wooden floors a large bar and second floor for larger groups. I have since tried the deep dish Chicago pizza as well as the thin crust and chicken parm. I would recommend all of these entrees. Don't forget the cannoli ! read more

We got seated right away drinks and appetizer order taken within minutes. Pizza took a little bit longer, which I assume is to be expected, but it was so good. It is super nice and roomy inside And the pricing was fair. We got a medium deep dish pizza with three toppings for $29, which would come out to a little over $14 a person which would be just the same if you went anywhere else and ordered your own meal so I would say that's completely fair. Decided to try Tony's Deluxe traditional Deep Dish Pizza and an order of their breaded mushrooms as an appetizer. The crust was just like a traditional corn meal flour based flakey crust that was baked perfectly and was firm enough to support the large portions of sausage, onions, mushrooms and pepperonis by hand. The deluxe's ingredients were well balanced with the tomato based sauce and a thick layer of mozzarella cheese on the bottom. Overall the pie was uniformly heated through and the spices were very flavorful and aromatic and very tasty. Tony's deep dish pizza reminded me of growing up on the Northside of Chicago and venturing downtown for deep dish pizzas and never going away hungry. The 10" was large enough for two (2) and still have left overs for a late night snack. I don't know how long I'll be able to make this review of a pizza place, but we're gonna find out ‍. Okay, so I tend to be particular about my pizza. I don't like cheap ingredients. I like a lotta mozzarella and just cheese in general (but especially mozzarella). I like fresh meat but not "loose meat". It reminds me of what we HAD to eat when I was a boy. The first taste I had of Tony's pizza was when my daughter and her husband brought us some after they ate there one night. They had ordered a deep dish pie, but there was a misunderstanding, and they got the thin crust instead. When the error was pointed out, the waiter offered to take it back and make a deep dish pie for them. But they were hungry, so they decided to just eat what they had (which was fabulous, by the way). The waiter told them they would make them a deep dish pizza to take home [FREE]. They said they would make it, but not cook it all the way, so they could finish it at home. That's the one we got to taste. Back to our experience. We got a medium Mega Meat Chicago-Style pizza. It was so big and filling, we ended up taking most of it home. I was a little taken aback when I first saw their version of the deep dish pizza. Instead of the fixings being on top, with a small layer of red sauce beneath, this pizza had all the goodies on the bottom and was slathered with sauce on the top. I'm told this is how it's SUPPOSED to be, but it was a new experience for me. I'm not a HUGE sauce fan, so I didn't know if I would like it done that way. It was delicious. I used to think that Old Chicago's deep dish was the best, at least in the QCA, but I don't anymore. The sauce was just the right sweetness. Since the toppings were all hidden under the sauce, I didn't know what to expect from the meats and cheese, quality-wise. They were excellent. But the crust was the pièce de résistance. It's been a long time since I've had a crust that good. It was crunchy on the bottom - like buttery-crunchy. For my money, the only thing better than butter is bacon. We ate at the bar because my wife feels you get your food and, more importantly, drinks sooner than if you sit at a table. The bartenders were great too, especially Leo. We found out the last time we were there that he's only going to be working there on Friday nights from now on. I guess we'll have to make Friday night "Tony's Night". A top tip if you like deep dish but don't want to wait 30, or more, minutes for it to be ready: call ahead and order it, then just show up, sit at the bar, and let them know you decided to eat it there. When it's done, they bring it right over and you don't have to watch everybody else get theirs while you get hungrier and hungrier. read more
