This is a local business for me where I typically drop in from time to time to get an item or two. I've purchased fruits here, a turkey sandwich in the past (I believe they stopped making sandwiches here since Covid), and ice cream. The staff are friendly and they accept both cash and card. The store is small and the isles are tight. It's a little difficult to navigate through the store. This is definitely a grab and go type of place. If you need to do a full store or market run, this isn't the best place to go to. Try Key Food or Stop and Shop instead. read more

Tony's meats has a solid selection of beef and pork cuts. They have rack of lamb and they usually have chicken breast and chicken leg quarters. All fresh all cut to order. They also have oxtails on occasion. I always come here to get meat on short notice because the staff is happy to help and answer questions on what meat is best for what. They also have a small but fresh produce section with culantro cilantro carrots broccoli tomatoes peppers and other basic produce. They also have cold cuts and slabs of pork and beef bacon that they cut to order. In addition to the fresh products that have the standard offerings of a bodega. Don't come here. This places sells spoiled Boars Head Turkey meat. I came in on Sunday and bought $10 worth of honey Turkey to make sandwiches. Usually when I buy Turkey meat at the bodgea It's lasts a few days, a little over a week. By Tuesday the meat was slimy & smelled sour. I couldn't get there sooner because of my work schedule as when I called spoke to the employees they wanted me to come at that very moment - but told me I come at 7am the next morning bring the meat back so they can see- they also stated that they have gotten a few of the same complaints and that it wasn't them but more than likely where they get the meat from. So I take a trip there at 7am - the owner Silvio is there- of course I did not speak to him out the phone - he was so disgustingly rude . His tone was very harsh - He pretty much told me there was nothing would do after I was told to come in at 7am. This meat market is a place I frequent alll the time as the EMPLOYEES are always nice & accommodating and will even help you to make the best choices of you are unsure. They cut your meat how you like especially for us that like to watch our portions - but today after the run in with the nasty owner I will more than likely never go back. I've been going to this market for over thirty years never had any problems. The prices has gone up and I still shop there. However they have one price on the window and another price on the scale. When I bought it to his attention he gave me some lame excuse if you buy the whole oxtail is 7.49 a pound and just the tail 7.99 s pound. No where did it say that. So glad to live this close to a place that sells decent steaks! The local grocery stores' selection of meat is pitiful! You can actually get cut-to-order ribeyes and T-bones for $10.99/pound! It's unusual that you can even find a ribeye or T-bone in this neighborhood, so I'm thrilled to find this place. One of the guys there mentioned they have organic milk, butter, eggs and chicken. We went into Tony's Meat Market to find enchilada supplies. To no fault of theirs, we were unable to locate the sufficient ingredients in order to complete our recipe (it is a primarily Italian market, so stupid us). But this is irrelevant. My friend and I's day was blessed by absolute kindness upon entering Tony's. The man behind the counter was a true angel - compassionate, present, attentive - and when it came time for us to leave empty handed, the grocer sincerely spoke, "thanks so much for coming in" and then wished us well on our day and travels. They are very unpleasant in there. To be honest I ONLY go in there when the Kosher stores in my neighborhood are closed because of Sabbath and holidays and there is nowhere else to shop.
