Tony's is great food that's not fast or cheep. But if you come hungry and patient - you'll leave happy.

This place used to be pretty good for Silvercliff/Westcliffe. But last three times has proven it has gone off the rails over the last year. If you go, be prepared to wait for over an hour for your food. Even if it is not busy. The food is right off the Cisco truck - and they must be buying the lowest grade. If you have a choice, choose another in Silvercliff/Westcliffe. Or be disappointed like I keep doing to myself, friends, and family read more

This isn't exactly a hidden gem but the food we had was very good. Garlic knots were great, marinara sauce was delicious, calzone was good too. We sat down right around 1 o'clock in the afternoon and they were far from busy but it still took 40 minutes to get our food. Not only us but the tables around us were super slow to receive their lunch. If this place could be better with their time management, they could easily be the best place in town to eat. read more

The food was DELICIOUS. We got a 10" pizza. I wanted one thing, my husband wanted another. We were going to get two different pizza's, but the waitress let us know that we could get half and half- YAY!! We got half Hawaiian and half something else that had bbq and chicken, and they were both amazing. The decor is great. When you walk in, they have a wall dedicated to the men and women who have fought to protect this country. It was heart warming. My only issue was the service was a little slow. It took a little longer than should have for us to get our drinks when we first got there, and it took a little long for us to get our pizza. I feel ike it was worth the wait though. My family stopped in at Tonys Mountain Pizza this afternoon after visiting the pines ranch. We ordered a large pizza and a small pizza which when they came out of the oven they sat on the counter for 14 minutes before being served to us. Myself and a friend ordered their 11.99$ Spinach salad. When our salad finally arrived we had approximately 10 leaves of spinach and a tablespoon of medium items which both were drenched in a hideous vinegar dressing. When I asked her server about the extremely small salad she said she talk to the manager, of which gave us $1.19 off of each salad or 10% percent. The service was poor we were never asked for a refill on her drinks and the staff seem to be poorly managed. Although the others stated that the pizza was good the service the salad and the overall experience at Tony'a was lacking! read more

A shout out to Tony's Mountain Pizza. We had not been there in a couple of years, mainly because of slow service issues (an hour to get your pizza brought to your table) which others have commented on in the past. HOWEVER, we went there last evening with a large group of friends (14 or so) an low and behold, the service was spot on, ALL food came out in a reasonable amount of time and at the same time, and (!) the good was excellent! We will be back to try Tonys again soon. (And the gal who served us did a spectacular job!! Left her a nice tip). read more

Not sure what's going on with Tony's. They have done a wonderful job of renovating and expending the building. Having said that, the last two times I visited there were not nearly enough waitstaff for the amount of people trying to get food. The phone was ringing off the hook and at least one of the staff showed that she wasn't going to get in a hurry for anyone. The food is good. The Italian Sausage sandwich is great. But the confusion detracts from the overall experience. read more

I came in after a long day of hiking and was starving. The waitress quickly brought my drink and a salad and took my order. After learning that it would take 40 min (40 min!!!) for a calzone to come out, I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and added shrimp. I'm not a huge fan of Alfredo sauce but WOW THIS WAS DELICIOUS and came out quickly. The waitress mentioned that the sauce is homemade and it definitely tasted like it. We stopped in for pizza and beer after a backpack trip. The food and drink were great! The staff was friendly, if a bit overwhelmed. We were disappointed to learn that eating on the patio was not an option. Several mountain restaurants now offer this option and allow the pups to snuggle under the table. Great pizzas, great calzones! I've noticed some reviewer's complain about slow service. I'm just guessing, but I think they might get balled up between their indoor dining orders as well as carry out orders. If I think I'm going to be in a hurry, I'll call ahead, and place my Order over the phone. That helps a lot. read more

Been here a few times. We waited way too long for our food every time. The waitress is more worried about chatting with her co-workers than waiting on her customers, again, each time. The most recent visit, we waited 15 mins before even being asked about something to drink. Then 45 mins to get any food from our order. The food is ok. Nothing to write home about. With the exception of the cheeseburger pizza which was pretty good 4/5. The cliffs have a hard time keeping businesses open...may I suggest actually paying attention to the customers who keep you IN business. I won't be back. I hate wasting my money on bad experiences. Waitress called my party aholes as we walked out even though we paid for the beers we ordered and were nothing but nice and courteous patiently waiting for our food, again that never came. The food was good. But the service was awful, the waitress said she was the "manager" when indeed she was not. We waited well over an hour just to get our food. When we talked to the "manager " she said there was nothing she could do, then we waited another 20 minutes. We never got refills on drinks, and after the REAL manager came and spoke to us she apologized and assured us that the other women WAS NOT the manager. Would not recommend, staff sucks. read more

Won't go here again. Checked in just after 5pm, not busy at all - ordered a few salads and a small pizza. Waited... waited... asked how much longer after 20 minutes went by, again at 30 minutes. People who arrived after us were receiving meals (more complicated than our order). A little before 6 (around 45 minutes after ordering), we left. Asked cashier to pay for drinks we consumed while waiting. They came out with boxed food and took 10%off (I know... a whopping $3 but why they're avoiding 1 star). The manager could care less in tone. Said "that kind of wait is not uncommon", despite me mentioning the place was relatively empty and patrons that arrived after us were receiving their more complicated orders. I've been in a slew of restaurants (mom n' pop and big box, don't matter) where it was far busier and service was superior. If you don't mind waiting an eternity, as well as certain rude staff members, then by all means take a seat (be sure to bring a book!). Food quality? Not worth the wait. read more
