Your simple pizza/sub place, only it's huge! Good food at a good price AND it has beer and wine!

Pizza was undercooked - for my liking anyway. The fries were just ok. The staff seemed friendly and perhaps I should've gone with the steak grinder based on the other reviews but we didn't. All in all a very average experience and there are other local places that have better pizza and fries without a doubt. read more

Three stars cause the food is always good and fast. Only complaint is that they don't wear gloves when making your food. Seems like in this day and age that would be standard. Oh well, it's still good. read more

This is one of the best pizza places around, I've been going here forever. The pizzas are great, and they load the grinders where you can barely close them. I pretty much only go here for grinders though now because I found a&d pizza that is close by and better for pizza. Tony's has a great atmosphere and a friendly staff. read more

We've been to Tony's at least a half-dozen times and the atmosphere, the staff and the tastes have always been good generally. Tonight I went specifically with food in mind as I had a craving. Pizza was on my mind. Specifically I selected pizza #3 with "tomatoes, fresh basil and garlic". Firstly the cheese on the pizza was terrific and the wait time was quite minimal - kudos! Here's where the pizza fell short - no tomato sauce, no sliced or even diced fresh garlic and the basil was not fresh and instead dried basil. Despite these substantial defects, it was generally a good tasting pizza, just not at all what I was expecting when I ordered. My plus one ordered a grilled chicken grinder. It included iceburg lettuce, tomatoes and some cheese in addition to the chicken. Maybe I was expecting too much imagining that the lettuce would be more green, but, it was mostly white - alas... I'm certainly not going to give up on Tony's, but, when I'm looking for gritty, flavorful pizza and subs I'll be turning my eye to other destinations. read more

Excellent food. Great service. The management was really helpful and responsive in a matter that was personal in nature. They sent a folder I left at the restaurant to me. I was unable to get it as their restaurant was 1 1/2 hours away and I really didn't want to return to get my folder. They sent it to me at their expense and it arrived safely at my house a few days later, even before I even returned home from my trip. These are the little things that fall through the cracks, but not with them. They took care of business. This shows they are paying attention to the details in keeping their customers happy. Lower end of the scale. Grinders were ok, best feature was their size. Buffalo wings also okay, but very mild with almost no kick. Their web site ordering is a nightmare and should embarrass them. Can't delete items and have to clear the list and start all over. Then, once all the order customization is done, you can't ask for a pick-up time sooner than 2 hours! You still have to call them and straighten out the details. How is THAT a convenience? Worst thing was that they try to pass off a calzone as a Stromboli. Not rolled up, just plopped on a pizza shape and folded! AND it was the soggiest, greasiest pile you ever saw. A complete disappointment. read more

Just wanted a good bacon cheeseburger. Almost $14.00 (really!) for a burger and onion rings! And not even close to what I ordered (no bacon like I ordered and they put banana peppers on the over toasted bun...I asked for jalapenos) and heated up frozen onion rings (that only come in one size). LIVING OFF THE NAME. Went to (not the Tonys we remember anymore) Sutton Pizza after not going for a few years. We remembered they USED TO have real good Fish and Chips and other food, pretty good reliable food. My wife had fish& chips. I had fish and scallop special. Son #1 had plain pizza. Son #2 had chicken nuggets. Both fishes were warm, not hot, very greasy, and tasteless. Same with the scallops. The once great pizza tasted like it was made with to much bad frozen dough and as little cheese as possible. Six year old Son #2 said the nuggets were on the bottom of his favorite nugget list. Everyone said the fries were good though. read more

Place is great. Food is well priced and well made. Nothing out of this world but it's perfect for a quick bite or a sit down dinner. Beer prices earned them a 5th star. Wormtown for 3.74 is the most Fire of all fire deals. I'll be back. Probably a lot. read more

Inflexible when taking orders. The surly staff expect you to do it there way or not at all. Too arrogant for mediocre food. Menu is below average but because they have been there forever and are the only show in town, they think they can do what they want. I am done with this place. If I could put negative stars I would! The owners are the rudest people I've ever seen in the hospitality business. In his words what's spending $60 here that's nothing. They refuse to allow toddlers to have juice boxes and told us they can drink tea. We had a party of over 20 people and was upset we were using more than one table, which only had 8 chairs. Owners repeatedly came to yell at us to stay to our side of room and the two tables. So much for having a pizza party for a four year old! If they weren't so incredibly nasty to us immediately walking in the door our party would have spent more. I've never been yelled at by owners and treated so awful. So you know $60 for four pizzas and terrible service. And make sure you clean up your tables we were told before even getting our pizzas. However the only way you can clean up and throw trash away is to bring it to the counter you order food from. You'd think in a two floor restaurant there would be a trash can available but nooo. If you'd like over priced food and awful service Tony's is for you. After over 30 years of loving Tony's food going down hill does not even come close to describing this awful place. read more

I like this place. They have a pretty big menu and very nice and efficient service. They have a big dinning room and also sell beer.

I have been going here for years. The syrian pockets are huge. The subs, pizzas, and calzones are great as well.

The gold standard for pizza south of Worcester. It is crowded on weekend evenings, but they handle the rush well. You order at the counter, and when your number is called, pick it up. Preferred seating is upstars near the counter, but there is overflow seating downstairs. Signs request that larger tables be used by larger groups only. Besides pizza, they serve a wide variety of Greek/Italian meals, and fish n chips on Fridays. read more

Tony's is well known in the area so I wasn't sure what to expect. The pizza is OK, kind of like a fancy Chuck-E-Cheese pizza. Lots of bread in the crust. Had 2 sandwiches there so far and they are on par with what I'd expect at a smaller joint but seemed a little like they got all the ingredients at Sam's club (chicken fingers for the Chicken Parm Sub). Still good and I will go again though. read more

The only reason I'm giving three instead of two stars is that the owner fixed our incorrect order free of charge. We have passed this place a million times and it's ALWAYS packed. Usually, places like that are great. Yelp reviews looked good, so we stopped in for dinner. The food, however, was not great. My husband ordered the tuna melt. It was "not bad." I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo. It was cold, it was as bland as could be, and over-priced considering the low quality. Also, with the tuna melt only potato chips were served; for the price I would think a side of fries or onion rings wouldn't have been too much to ask. After our disappointing meal, a mere 6 miles down the road, I got sick. Twice. My husband did not. We each had tasted each others' meal, so I guess it was my food that caused it. Most of the reviews I read raved about the pizza and wings. We didn't order either of those things. Maybe pizza and wings are worth trying there, but I doubt I will ever go there again after this experience. Although the owner seemed to care about his customers and wanted to make our meal right, it was not a good visit and we're pretty turned off. read more

Been going to Tony,s for years because it was great, but the last few times out have been disapointing. Has this place changed hands because it has gone downhill. Sorry to say but we miss the the way it was. Something has changed there. Last meal was rigatony with sausage and peppers, rigs were mushy, sausage was burnt and fatty, peppers were uncooked and raw.
