We'd recommend to call ahead of time, so they can have your order ready when you get there. Many rolls have fried shrimp or salmon (tempura) and some crunch, and some are spicy with jalapeño. My husband and I enjoyed the Alcatraz roll which had some flavor but was not very spicy. They provided wasabi & ginger, but we did not receive soy sauce, so if you like that in your sushi, be prepared to use your own. It's now Mexican restaurant, and GDL is short for Guadalajara. The interior still shouts 'supper club'...dim, dark wood, booths with high backs and vinyl. The music is Mexican. And not too loud.
