We offer Commercial Equipment Repair for all of Yavapai County. We service Hot Side Equipment (ovens, broilers, griddles, fryers, etc..), Cold Side Equipment (walk-ins, all coolers and freezers, reach-ins, etc), Ice Makers, Heating, A/C, Exhaust Hood Systems. Not a licensed contractor...YET!! Currently in progress of obtaining.

History

Established in 1997.

Back in the early 90's, my father started a very small mechanical company in PA as he entered his retirement years. As I aged in life, I realized that I wanted to be closer to my father; become more like him. I thought, maybe we could be in business together. So, I started attending refrigeration school at night. Sadly, he had passed away before I could graduate. Keeping my promise, in '97, I started my own business in Summit County, CO. I became pooped out from the year-round snow and freezing temps that life brings at 10,000'. So, in 2014, I decided to move and restart my dream here in Yavapai County. I bought a house in Prescott Valley; but for financial reasons, had to take work down in the Phoenix area. Yes, I commuted every day to take service calls even as far as Casa Grande. Patience, persistence and determination paid off. At the beginning of 2019, I started ToolBox back up again. Who knows, maybe someday my son will continue our dream with me.

I've moved out here to the Prescott Valley area 2 years ago to enjoy these milder seasons, slow down my pace of life, and restart ToolBox Mechanical. I really do enjoy being able to help out restaurant owners/managers fix their equipment. I was in business as ToolBox Refrigeration in Colorado since 1997; so I have fixed a lot of different equipment. I'm a small company. No pressures of "earning" a certain amount of money to keep the bosses happy; allowing me to focus on keeping my customers happy!
