My dentist said they will provide the referral and 3D scan to the root canal specialists I chose. I contacted Indy Endodontics (IE) because they accepted my dental insurance and received very good reviews. Upon contacting IE it didn't take to long to find out they wanted to charge me up to $315 to do another 3D scan. This was evident when they would not look at the 3D scan my dentist sent them on a CD and then attach in an email using Dropbox. I do not recommend this practice as long as they give a potential patient the run around. It is hard enough to go through a root canal when you have to have a crown drilled through to remove the calcified nerve. After contacting many other independent endodontists, I was able to get the work done more professionally from initial contact to completion. Senior Citizen

Everyone was so nice, talkative, and informative. They allowed me to fill out patient paperwork on an iPad which was efficient and easy to use. For the procedure itself, I was with Dr. Joseph Adams. He and his assistant were very friendly. They explained every step, took it slow and checked in with me a lot the whole time. They use really updated techniques, including a GentleWave system, which honestly I had never heard of before but seemed to be really efficient. Overall, it took about 40 minutes and it was completely painless. They took follow up x-rays and showed me the results after and it looked great. I really can't recommend this office enough. If I ever need another procedure like this, I will definitely come back.

I had to pay out of pocket and then deal with reimbursement. Tricare needed them to call and give a dental readiness category: 1,2 or 3. 1 is good, 2 is fine for the next year, 3 is bad. Tricare tried to contact them - they do not answer the phone. I tried to contact them - they do not answer the phone. I sent an email and got a snarkey email back that they already provided everything and would not be changing the classification. I sent several emails and finally someone calls me back and it became clear they did not understand the classification process (even though I sent the form that outlines what that means). They said they would follow-up, they did not. I sent a follow-up email - no response. I call the Indy office hoping someone there was maybe a managing partner- haven't received a response. This is unbelievably unprofessional. I am deploying in 2 months and can't get this resolved without their cooperation. At this point, I had to request a refund for the exam so I can go to another endodontist. Please do not go here if you utilize Tricare, even if you're self-pay.

However, an irritating molar turned into a giant infection, I had to go. My dentist referred me to Dr Warren. By the time I made it to his office it was necessary for me to begin taking antibiotics. The dreaded root canal procedure was scheduled and I sat in his chair with his friendly staff doing everything they could to comfort me including, holding my hand. The office is beautiful with big windows looking out to a pleasant pond. The procedure itself was incredibly fast and painless. I was offered laughing gas, and a mild sedation. My only complaint was Dr Warren doesn't do the crown after the root canal. He has a very gentle touch. I highly recommend. I had an emergency with my tooth on a Saturday. Dr Warren reached out and offered to meet me at his office at 8:00 PM Saturday night! I told him that it wasn't that important and instead I could meet in in the morning. He met me on Sunday morning at 8:30 AM! I don't know any doctors who do that. He goes way above and beyond and provides extraordinarily excellent care for his patients. After some traumatic dental experiences as a child, I finally found a dentist I liked. Plus, that dentist was in greenwood and my wife and I had moved to the far west side of Plainfield. So we began searching. Luckily, so luckily, we found Dr. Maupin. When we first got our teeth cleaned here, my wife had 7 cavities and I had 8! That was 6 months after our previous cleaning with the above mentioned, likeable, expensive dentist. So, although he was likeable, he clearly was doing nothing to help our oral health. After 3 years, some fillings, and a multitude of cleanings at Saratoga Family Dental with Dr. Maupin, we still love it here. We recently moved to the north east side of Indianapolis. Our new home is near a plethora of dentists, but we drive 45 miles just to see Dr. Maupin. If you need dental work, get here now. You won't regret your decision.

I purchased their top tier dentures last year on my birthday 8 grand I went in on a Friday and by Monday I had my teeth pulled and was sent home with temporary dentures. I was completely ignored as I shook and cried scared to death in the chair as the dentist paid me no attention and talked about her weekend plans. I was sent home with no instructions and told to set up a new appointment in a few weeks. I had no idea what to expect. I lost 40 pounds over the next few months and spent massive amounts of money on glue to hold my teeth in. I regretted my decision but stayed hopeful it would get better. I was only given my top set so they did no good eating. I finally had enough and was able to make an appointment to see the next steps. My appointment was scheduled for 7 am I arrived excited to get some relief and comfort only to find out that they did not have a lab technician and wouldn't for at least a month. I received no call or anything to let me know I didn't really need to wake up that early on my day off or that I would need to find a different location to go to not to mention the planning scheduling and arrangements that I had to make to accommodate transportation. I was able to get a hold of Plainfield eventually and be seen by them. To say the least they didn't know what I had in my mouth or that I wasn't a new patient and I was going to be charged. After tears and lots of explanation they put a soft liner in and my temperature teeth were now more comfortable but I was told they couldn't see me because Avon was paid for my service and they were not. I was infuriated and felt so taken advantage of by Avon I was ashamed I had let them do this to me. When I got home I tried to call and complain but only got a recording that promised the opposite of everything I had been through. So now I have to go back to Avon to have my permeantto be made and hopefully they will eventually give me my bottom set as well. Before that my tooth broke off and it had to be fixed. They did it quickly. Plainfield that is. A week later I dropped them and they were gone broke to pieces. Silly me I assumed since they made my first ones in a weekend they could do that this time but oh no they told me it would be 3 weeks that's after I showed up for my appointment they had no one again to see me. I've lost 40 pounds now have no bottom teeth or top teeth at this point and I'd spend $8000 for the very best top-of-the-line. I've never had anything quality like that in my life. I grew up poor we struggled so this was a big deal well I was the worst birthday present in my life because I've had no job for a year and I finally got a job and I have to start my new job as a manager in my town of a very well-known business. meet my team with no teeth and they tell me there's nothing they can do to get them faster. Well that's funny because when they were selling them to me, they got me in three days after several appointments and arguing with them crying having to walk around everywhere with no teeth not being able to talk I sincerely was ready to give up. They made me want to. I'm embarrassed to say it, but I wanted to commit suicide. I was so broken by them and everything that they've done I've never seen the same dentist more than once I was shuffled around lied to used basically robbed and was getting nowhere. I've been working really hard to start this new career and things were gonna start looking up and I kept having to call off work to go to all these dentist appointments and there'd be nobody there and every day you know they would make me think that they were gonna have them ready soon and then the next visit it would be. It's gonna be two or three more weeks I finally get the set that I have to approve and the dentist is telling me if you don't like them we want you to be happy and I'm telling him I don't like them. He made no changes to it. They just want to sew it. I look like a horse with teeth, you know the picture and guess what I still have no bottoms, but they took the mold.
