This place is awesome. I myself am not a woodworker but my brother and nephews are. The people that work there were super knowledgeable and resourceful for the guys. Excellent customer service both when you're buying something you picked out and when you are not sure what you need. Their people answer questions well--online and in the physical store. (Which is on a funky dead end street but it's near the subway and you can park.) They know everything by Festool backwards and forwards. She quickly emailed saying that I probably wouldn't get the package until after Christmas and asked if I wanted the cheaper shipping method instead. Their staff is super knowledgable and friendly. They can demo any piece of equipment they stock, bringing intimate knowledge of the work piece to a table for you to try out on a piece of wood. Buy it and not happy? Bring it back. The only downside, and it's not really their fault, is that this place is truly a wharehouse. This is where they house all their goods for the internet site for shipping, so it's a little quasi-retail/wharehousey. Parking is also a pain. when you get to the building they are on the fifth floor in the back on the left. The floors aren't numbered, and although it's a pain I would suggest walking the stairs because the elevator takes forever. read more
