Wait time was terrible. Dentist not very personable. Deep cleaning charge was $80 a quadrant which cost me $320 out of pocket on top of what they charged my insurance for the visit and then they wanted to have me purchase night guard which would be an additional couple hundred out of pocket because they claimed I grind my teeth. In my opinion the office over charges for services, would not recommend this dental office at all. Found a new dentist that changed me $40 for a full deep cleaning and said I didn't need a night guard as I haven't been grinding my teeth at night. read more

I had a nice experience here I was a little hesitant due to a couple of bad reviews but I was appointed here by my dental insurance although I had a choice to go elsewhere this place was close for me. Jebum the hygienist was very friendly seems very knowledgeable, I was happy. I had to wait for the dentist for a bit but it happens. Also very friendly but it was a little bit hard to understand her with a mask on but it is what it is these days of course I want her to wear a mask, then she gave me a print out of my treatment plan which I asked for and was much helpful. I have to go back for a deep cleaning, root canal and night guard fitting. I am a bit concerned for a deep cleaning because one of the reviews and it'll be my first time deep cleaning, but I will definitely let you guys know how it goes. So far so good if you are looking for a new dental office give this place a try. :D read more

Very disorganized and unprofessional staff. Waited over 2 hours for a scheduled appointment They really need to work on overcrowding. sometimes it's better to do less but more quality work. Time is money, please don't let your patients wait for hours and hours. Schedule patients only number of patients which you can handle. I spent an hour waiting before they took me. they are so rough, I am still feeling pain in my lips. the procedure takes too long. 1 hour and 1/2. minutes, while I was informed it will take 45 minute. I was so late to work. I didn't have a good experience at all! read more

The dental office is clean an comfortable. But if you don't have good insurance or a lot of money, just don't waste your time . Overall my visit was a waste of time and disappointing that they don't really help you unless it's your getting referred to other offices or hospitals. read more

They were the nicest people I've ever met. This staff is amazing. They calmed me. They were never judgemental. They were straight forward on everything. They did a wonderful job on my teeth. Office is clean. Staff is friendly. But they always keep you waiting. Even when you call ahead half an hour before your appointment time to see if they are on time or running late. They say they are on time and you reach on time and yet end up waiting at least half an hour before you are seen!! read more

I love this dentist! I been going here for years since i use to live near by but 4 yrs ago i moved & i still drive 25min to come see Dr.Shah. First of all !!.....the front desk is amazing & a Huge reason why i even come here. All the girls at the front desk are super easy to deal with, so nice & so helpful. Jamal is my main girl i loveee her!! she always helps me out, calls me for reminders, gives me advice && shes hilarious ..good people. Also, Dr. Shahs male dental assistant (i forget his name) but he is also great. The staff is awesome, always professional, nice & makes going to the dentist a better experience. STAY AWAY! Dentist is so rude. The hygienist gave me a deep cleaning and now I have to remove my wisdom tooth because of the "deep cleaning". The dentist said I needed so many procedures but went for a second opinion and do not need anything done with my other teeth. Dr. Shah is a HORRIBLE dentist and needs to be reeducated completely on how to do a filling without causing a traumatic experience. Go to her if you want to be tortured. The first time wasn't good but I had a discussion with her prior to the second filling and guess what the second filling was waaayyy worse then the first. I will have to find a way to report this to the department of health. Her service is completely unacceptable. read more

Worst doctor to go to for dental appointment. They want cash even though the insurance covers the cost of the procedure

My mother has healthplex. This office was one of the top suggestions for her through their website. However when we went there the office did not want to touch her insurance with a 10 foot pole. At first they claimed she wasn't insured, but after further research they found her in the system. The staff is rude, immature and completely un professional. All they are looking for is money. My mom is in her 70's and I hope none of them are treated the way they made my mom feel. I felt terrible that a medical professional would be so apathetic to a senior. She literally spoke as though my mom was invisible. I made it a point to let her know my Mother was right there and to ask her questions about her gum health her self. The dentist then took a quick I mean 5 second look into her mouth and told us that she was better off going to a hospital since they wouldn't have to wait for any approvals.. Code for 'your insurance won't give us enough money to care to do our jobs so goodbye!' Such a horrible place. I have decent insurance, through employer and would rather walk into a volcano over this place. read more

I had very good experience the first time. The second time around I was told to come back for fillings but when I scheduled the appointment the Dentist herself was planning a vacation. The staff would reschedule me and then schedule me and then reschedule and honestly when I confronted the office about it the staff was apologetic but the dentist herself seemed rude and to be honest a bit full of herself. She literally didn't even give me fillings because I told her I was in pain just so I can get an appointment (the pain wasn't even related to my fillings) so she ended up looking at my mouth for about 30 seconds and was like you should go to the Endodontics. Mind you I waited about 3.5 weeks for this appointment and a 30 sec visit was pretty much telling me that she didn't want me there. Therefore, I ended up leaving and going for a second opinion and that dentist literally did X-rays and actually took his time to let me know what was going on and he even told me that it made no sense she told me to go to and Endodontis when my nerves were okay in my gums. I really think she as a dentist needs to reorganize herself and revaluate what she wants out of becoming a dentist because if its just money thats a very bad reason to become a dentist. read more

All this dentist office wants is money. I came in a year and a half ago and the hygienist hurt my gum during the cleaning causing it to bleed. Now ever since, that area of the gum is sensitive and still is black and blue. Last visit I was told I had two cavities that needed filling. I asked if the dentist could show me where the cavities were. He scoffed and said he can't show them to me. So I got a second opinion, either I cured the cavities or this dentist is lying. There is a cavity on top tooth that another dentist pointed out but this dentist did not. Never going back to this office. Even my parents hate it. They just want money. read more

After three visits, I decided this was not the dentist for me. Due to my work schedule at the time I had to reschedule my appointments a few times. Each time I did, they never took the appointment out of their book. Then they would call me to threaten me that they were going to charge me for the missed appointment. Thankfully I have a great memory and would recount to them what occurred. Then they would go onto their appointment system and tell me, "oh yes, I'm so sorry. I see that you did reschedule." Every time I came for an appointment, the level of unprofessionalism with the staff at the front desk was like being in a high school corridor during break from class. One time, I showed up and it was at the end of the day and a woman that worked their had her mother, brother and child sitting in the waiting room while the entire staff was talking to them and carrying on as if the business was closed. My original appointment was for a teeth cleaning and exam. I show up and there was no one but me as a client in the building. I waited 20 mins for them to finally stop enjoying themselves for the hygienist to take me into the room. She xrays my teeth and then tells me that the dentist cannot see me today. She also let me know that they would be doing my teeth cleaning in 2 separate sessions. Which as we all know, every appointment you show up to requires an additional copayment. Nevertheless, I show up for the second appointment. Again, no one other than myself waiting or in the building. The staff as usual is enjoying themselves while I wait. After 30 mins of waiting with no one touching base with me, I get up very calmly and let them know that I will bee to reschedule because I have to go to my next appointment as they took so long to take me in and now I need to leave. They did not apologize and just offered to reschedule. At this point, I did not want to go back. But I only had half of my mouth cleaned. So, guess what. I had to come back. And I did. The final appointment that I showed up for was for my dental cleaning and again the dentist was not available. After that appointment, I decided that I was not going to go there anymore. Two months later, I get a letter from my dental insurance company. It's giving me a quote for dental work that was submitted to them by the dentist. So, I call them very upset and speak with the billing department. She informs me that it's standard for them to send projected work estimates to the dental insurance company to see what my coverage is. I informed her that I never met with the dentist in order for this estimate to have been compiled in the first place. She then argues with me on the on validity of the dentist and I meeting. She tells me that I did meet her and I the had to go through everything that I wrote above to let her know that I didn't. Long story short, I let her know that I do not authorize any billing now or in the future. Additionally, I am never doing business with them again. Poor experience overall. It's such a shame because they are new and walking distance to my home. read more
