I paid for a "Pre Purchase" Inspection. This shop performed the service. After I paid and left, the…read morenext day I found out that the same truck that I paid for a pre purchase inspection has oil leaks AND the CATALYTIC CONVERTERS ARE MISSING! The truck literally had the exhaust cut out, and the catalytic converters were DELETED. Heres the stupidest part... they scanned the computer because of a check engine light, and all 8 codes the computer scanned revealed were ALL BECAUSE OF MISSING/FAILED EMISSIONS COMPONENTS! So they scan the computer, detect 8 emissions based engine codes, put the truck on a lift, DONT SEE LEAKING OIL OR MISSING CATALYTIC CONVERTERS, but made sure they gave me an estimate for new shocks and struts and brakes and alignment and everything else. When I called to ask WTH.. ."Oh i didnt notice the leaking oil and the missing exhaust components." WHAT A JOKE.

Mike sent several apologies and went above and beyond what most business owners would do in a situation such as this. - He refunded me for the missed alignment and the cost of the new tire. To find this kind of honesty is rare and it proves that he operates his business with integrity. Knowing this, I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle directly to Mike in the future if need be. Mistakes happen, and he was quick to correct it. Thank you, Mike! ********************************************************* My husband brought my car over to AZ Automasters in February of 2024. We had never been there before, but I had just had new control arms and ball joints put in and since the tires were also brand new, my mechanic who did that work recommended an alignment. AZ Automasters kept the car overnight and my husband picked it up the following day. My husband stated that he asked the employees if the alignment was off and by how much, and that no one could answer his questions or seemed to "know anything about anything." But he did say that the employees working the morning he picked it up were not the same ones who were working when he dropped it off. He didn't leave feeling super confident but they said the car was done so he left and that was that. This car is kept in a garage, has not been in any accidents, hit any curbs or anything of that nature, and is well loved. I have put 8000 miles on the vehicle since the alignment. The other day we realized that the tires should probably be rotated and were horrified to notice that the outside of the passenger front tire was completely bald, the inside of the tire barely worn. We went over to where we purchased the tires as they are warranteed to 80,000 miles, but because they deemed it an "alignment issue", I had to purchase a brand new tire out of pocket. Not only did I waste $118.00 at AZ Automasters as they did not complete the alignment I paid for, I'm out an additional $145 for a new tire and still need to get the car aligned. I'll certainly be getting alignment, but it won't be at AZ Automasters. *Edit* I just had a front end alignment at a reputable shop where the employees actually care about their customers. They had to take a torch to the tie-rod jam nuts as they were totally locked up on both sides. This would NOT have had to be done had AZ Automasters done the work they were paid to do a year and a half ago. Also, this shop, who did the alignment using lasers, was able to show us via computer what they adjusted and how much, which AZ Automasters could not do for us. And this new place was cheaper! Lesson learned to shop around!

I got the price on the cover and I got the price on the whole truck too, and I went with the whole truck price they did an amazing job and a amazing price. They out did their self and they repaired things that weren't included in the quote and did not charge me anymore. Repaired 3 dents, gave me new tail lights, and tinted my windows. I was totally amazed when I finally saw my truck. They broke a piece of molding on my inside door latch but they are working on finding the piece to repair it. I will definitely use them for any work in the future and refer everyone that needs body work to PRIME COLLISION. Well....after having my 2026 Tesla Model 3 for 3 weeks, I accidentally hit the passenger side…read morebumper on my garage door rail causing a huge gash right under the headlight. I received quotes from the Tesla body shop and another Tesla approved shop in Tempe, both of which were over $2,000. Brightwood's price was fair and I was really impressed with Nicole's professionalism and communication. She sent me a detailed quote, which had everything broken down so I knew exactly what work was being done. The other bodyshop just sent me a price without any sort of breakdown and when I mentioned I was going to go with Brightwood, their response was, "You get what you pay for", which I thought was unprofessional. Nicole was very responsive and knowledgeable and it was nice dealing with her. Anna, at the front desk was also super friendly and efficient. Brightwood was nice enough to order the part without a deposit and didn't schedule my work until the part came in, which saved a ton of time. I wasn't going through insurance and didn't want to pay out of pocket for a rental car so they saved me a ton of time by doing it this way. The other body shop wanted an $800 deposit just to get the part ordered and they were about 3 weeks out for scheduling the work. As soon as I okayed the quote, Brightwood ordered the necessary parts and they were at the shop in a few days. I dropped my car off on the following Monday and it was ready on Thursday. It would've been ready sooner but they had to order a different bracket that we didn't realize was broken until the bumper cover was removed. Totally not their fault. Ok, so why 4 stars and not 5? Well, when I took my vehicle home I noticed that the paint was too dark on the bumper and it did not match very well. I also noticed that the front trunk (frunk) was crooked. It was too low on the right side and too high on the left when facing the vehicle, which looked weird when looking at the vehicle head on...almost looked like it was winking at you. I contacted Nicole and she asked for me to bring it by the shop for the manager to look at it. I brought it by the following Friday and the manager scheduled me for the following Monday with no questions asked. I dropped it off on Monday morning and was able to pick it up the next day in the afternoon. The paint looks way better and the frunk is corrected. Overall, I thought Brightwood was a good body shop and I would bring my Tesla here again...though in all honesty I hope I don't have to because that means it needs body work which is never cheap.
