I moved to Burien recently and have been trying out different nail places for Shellac. This is the only place I have found that can mange an even application that stays on! They do a very good job in a timely manner and their salon is really nice. As far as nail salons go they are a lot less bubbly and talkative but that may suit many people fine. I have not had a pedicure yet but I am sure they will be as efficient at that as they are nails. read more

I am getting my pedicure done right now. I came in and asked how much it would cost and was told 20 dollars. I also asked if someone would be able to do a design on one of my toes and I pretty much got laughed at. The hot stone massage with the hot towel made up for it somewhat, however it was incredibly to short of a time. The place was clean and the service was okay at best. They had nice massaging chairs and the place looked really clean. The workers were great altough not really talkative, I didn't mind at all. Did a great job on my nails, very quick but good quality. Place is very neat and tidy on the inside and has a good selection of colors. My only complaint is that there were some very loud young girls playing music on their phones and the staff did not ask them to quiet down. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is really close to my house so I have given them multiple chances to impress me or atleast do what I ask. The final straw was when I went in yesterday for an eyebrow wax. They broke all the capillaries under my eyebrow and I now have two three millimeter cuts under my eyebrows where they ripped my skin off. She also did not do what I asked and waxed my eyebrows unevenly and way to thin. On other days I have gone into there to get my nails done. They constantly tried to push me to spend more, they messed up my nails multiple times, they constantly changed their prices even though they are on the board. I use to go to the salon they had in white center but since they moved it was not convenient for me to go there. I decided I wanted a really good pedicure and I needed a fill after Xmas so I thought going the xtra distance to them it would pay off, I was completely WRONG! It was the worst pedicure I've ever had my water was cold and when I asked for hot water they said it was out! My fill looks like crap and I'm sure it won't last long. This place is cool. They were friendly when I waked in, told me to pick a color. Owner is a damn genius setting up the colors the way he did. Everything is number: brand coordinated and you can look at swatches or scroll the racks but beyond that every color is set with its partner gel and regular polish so your little tootsies can match your nails. Don't put gel on your toes. It's stupid. Anyways genius to have the colors set up that way so I'm not wondering if it's going to match or where it's at or if they have it. Cindy did my nails. I came in here for an eyebrow wax before this time I describe below and had a great experience. The wax was very cheap and great quality. I like that they serve you water once you get there. Sometime around this last Mother's Day my mom and I came in for pedicures with no appointment. We were seated together right away with no wait even though, the salon was quite full- it was a Saturday. They seemed to have plenty of nail techs around to serve everyone there which is great. We picked out our colors and sat down then sometime while we were soaking the color I picked disappeared. Not sure if someone moved it or picked it up to use on someone else but they couldn't find it. I picked a mint color originally and the alternatives they had were all green colors so I had to get up and pick an entirely different color. Kind of annoying but no big deal really. Pedicure was of good quality and end result. The only other thing I noticed - the lady that did my moms feet was great, hot stones, did her heels with the grater thingy and a long calf massage. The lady that did mine was less thorough and I didn't get a massage or the heel scraping, felt a little rushed. I think paid $55 for both of our pedicure and left an additional tip. I've been coming here for about 2 years now and never have these ladies failed me. From wait time to customer service and all. My go to ladies are Heidi, vi, Anna and Phoung I think that's her name but she has braces. I always call 30 min ahead to let them know I'm coming to avoid wait time or to catch one of them if they're available. They have a wide range of colors from shellac to regular paint that's not scattered and put in order by color- name brand. The cleanliness and teamwork that they have is what keeps me coming here not only that they understand and speak English very well so if you're very particular they'll understand what you want. Have gone here many times for my nails but today I felt like the lady didn't take her time. Not even to file correctly. My nails are supposed to be round and they are funky round! They are okay. The only thing I really like about it is that its nice inside and their massaging chairs. I have gone here twice hoping that my 2nd visit would be much better than my 1st visit but it wasn't. I felt like they were rushing both times I visited and the 2nd time I came there it was dead. My pedicure sucked...I always look for a good foot massage especially since I was pregnant and my feet were swollen but she massaged my feet for like 2 minutes and she did it with gloves on which I hate. I went here last week to have a fill done on my pink and whites, and am very disappointed. They have yellowed considerably, and the fill does not match the original. Also, there is a clear separation between the pink and white portions where light shines through. I wasn't terribly satisfied with them the first time I had them put on here three weeks ago, but thought I'd give them another shot. I will not be coming back, nor will I recommend. Absolutely terrible customer service when it came to getting my lashes done. First, she never went throughly through the process of how the installment goes, never gave me and after care or instructions, or when is good timing to come back. She didn't inform me that taking out my contacts would be a rather good idea, because when I got up from the table my eyes were LITERALLY BLOOD SHOT RED & that lasted for three days. I had to use eye drops for the redness, that obviously caused my lashes to fall out before it even hit a week. & I felt rushed to get up and leave after she was done. Don't go here for a wax! STAY AWAY! Burned, up-charged me, and gave me attitude when I tried to revert back to the price on their website. Room is dirty and cluttered. I only had a thin piece of paper to lay on and a dirty pillow to lay my head. I'm a regular with waxing, but this was the worst I've ever experienced in my life! Price on their website said $45.00 but subject to change. Showed the women the website since she didn't believe me about the price. She looked and reverted back with subject to change. This place is garbage, I had the worst experience of my life getting my eye lashes done and I will never go back there again. My eyes burned the whole time she was doing them, she spilt some kind of cold liquid on my forehead and didn't even whip it off, she got glue in my hair which I had to end up cutting out later because it wouldn't wash out. When I asked her to help me get it out she completely blew me off. My lashes were done HORRIBLY, if you know anything about lashes they are suppose to be glued close to the root of your real lashes. The lashes I got here were glued all over, some more than half way up my lash and looked like they were weeks grown out. They were all completely stuck together and looked so messy. I still can't believe I paid them. I would look better if I shaved my eye lashes completely off. I'm not one to ask for things free so I slid my card and did not tip a cent. I'm never coming back after two days of having acrylics nails they broke with no roughness.
