Always find myself remiscing because the house my eldest daughter lives in --- it belonged to my Grandparents. Very knowledgeable about the items she is selling and helpful to both daughters as they both picked up a different version of the stone. Even though my cdaughter s are both in thir mid are in their 40s --- I had to laugh because of the look of wonder in their eyes and unbeknownst to either one - each chose an opal. We continued to talk about Janet for the rest of our girls weekend, that I could spend a weekend with her and hear her stories & just be in her presence! I was very happy to see all the diverse items that she promotes and inspires in the middle of what might be a less than liberal area, She sells and donates the proceeds of Haitian art back to the Haitian communities. She had SO MUCH jewelry in her shop and if you would mention something she INSTANTLY knew where it was on a random table. You could spend all day in there and still not see all she had. My sister liked one thing and instantly she made it into something else. She was just great & I want to hang out with her & hear her stories! She was a great soul and really had beautiful items! I went in earlier in the day to look at it and didn't feel at all pressured by the salesperson and I could tell she genuinely liked watches, jewelry and helping customers. I went back later and showed them the deal online and within a few short minutes I was paying. They adjusted the bracelet as I waited too which was much appreciated, even after I offered to leave it until later. I did have a watch I did not buy from them adjusted about a year ago and the service was very reasonably priced, especially considering I tried myself and gauged the band. I definitely recommend giving this local shop a shot before you buy from a chain or online. They have a nice sized clearance section and other sales too. Also some pretty cool vintage pieces that may interest some. Haha they even had Downton Abbey jewelry! Who knew!
