Top Day Spa is a place where you pay for what you get! The lady who sat at the front asked you to pay first. Then the FIRST masseuse will take you to the room. In the middle of the massage, they will swap another masseuse to your room to continue the service. It happened to me twice (I've been to Top Day Spa three times)! I don't understand their procedure, but it makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm sure they are well-trained masseuse, they should know what they are doing so why change to a different person? Unless they want me to pay double the tips! I can handle deep massage, but it is not necessary to have EVERY SINGLE move in deep massage! When I asked to stop, the lady said, hang on to it! That is ridiculous! I asked her to stop then she should stop because I was not feeling well! Staff are polite but they should listen to the customer. read more

Keep in mind you do pay for what you get, and your experience will vary on your masseuse/their mood that day, because that's what you get at cheap massage salons. Paid $60 (incl. tip) for a 60 minute massage. I would have tipped more but they asked for payment BEFORE the massage. Parking was not an issue. They also seem to be very flexible with walk ins, you can always call ahead to find out if there is a wait, they had no problem picking up my calls. They call a part timer to come in if they don't have availability, and they also ask if you prefer male/female masseuse at booking. They bring you to a room and they don't tell you, but if you got the oil massage, you strip down to just your undies and get under the sheet. I had a great experience here, def one of the better low end massages I've been to in a while. My masseuse was able to put good pressure consistently (I like more pressure) and though was running a business while giving me a massage, she did a great job. Touch on all of my knots. The 60 minutes included hot stones, which I was a big fan of here. Overall place wasn't sketchy, just older structure, the rooms are not full walls so you can hear other rooms which I expected. Amy was assigned as my masseuses, her hands were a wonder, everywhere she press was sore and to the point, she arrange the whole hour of body massage very evenly thru out all body. Pros: the lady gave me a deep body massage Cons: no private rooms, first 20 minutes of the massage she had a blanket over me while massaging, can't communicate with them because the don't know English, left my unattended for around 2 minutes, paid for 90 minutes instead got 85 minutes, too noisy outside the room couldn't focus on they soothing sound, they have a bell in front of the door so I heard that bell jingle at least a dozen times, I would not recommend this spa to anyone who wants a private room and wants to exit the noise out and just relax. How can you complain? Seriously it's so cheap! 30$/hour for body massage in nice and Clean private room. Where nobody talk over your head. No strange look from other Chinese masseuse. The music is soothing. I can actually fall asleep easily. On top of that, Free Hot oil /hot stone with check in! My masseuse herself is a really nice lady, friendly, sincered and not judgemental. (not those typical Chinese service) they are actually nice there. As much as I want to keep this for myself only, I want them to do well so they keep their door open for me to come weekly. 10 Stars! Went today last minute with my 28 yr old son was best 60 min,hot oil & hot stone massage ever had! Ask for Sara! Was the best $45 ever spent. Plus I tipped her very well because Sara worked so hard for hour on me & I felt like new woman at 56 when I left there. Just know you need to speak up on what exactly you want & don't want once your in the room with your masseur that's the secret to getting a great massage for yourself. What a shady place DO NOT come here. Theyre forcing a $20 dollar tip to all their customers in a really unprofessional way. They get annoyed if it's anything less than 20, it seems like a joke but it's true. I always leave good tips but it's wrong telling customers the exact amount you want. So I want to give it 4 stars because the massages are good and they care for you, and listen to request. That being said, believe the comments that say they get irritated when you do not tip a certain amount. I have been here multiple times with my partner. We have had no issues what so ever with the tipping until today. It was a massage therapist that I had never seen before there that got irritated with us over a ~ 16% tip on my partners portion, we were confused on why there was an issue with the tip until she said that my partner needs to pay more (he had a 70 dollar massage and tipped 11.5 dollars). Then, once he pulled out another 20, she was pretty happy. She asked if we wanted change, but it was pretty obvious she would have started an argument if we did, and we just left. I dont know. Maybe we are in the wrong, but it is slightly irritating that tips are mandatory here now. I wanted to keep going to this spot, but I do not think we will now. Was going to leave a good review despite them charging $40 for Shiatsu w/hot stones & hot oil. They use hot stones however they use lotion & rub their hands on the stones, I guess that's their idea of hot oil? They ask you to pay in advance which I go along with, & since I paid w/a cc I added the tip beforehand. So as I'm about to walk out the door she says "My lady, tip?" I turned around & said what? She points to a sign that says tip masseuse. I said I already left a tip, then she speaks to the young girl in Chinese & as I'm walking out says oh sorry. That right there rubbed me the wrong way because if you want pmt in advance it should be conveyed to the masseuse that the tip has been paid already, INSTEAD OF REMINDING ME TO LEAVE A TIP THAT SHOULD BE OPTIONAL. I tip ALL THE TIME, even though I disagree w/it; if you think the massage is worth $50, then charge $50 instead of $40 & demanding a $10 tip... The usual body massage is $30, but they're pushing the Shiatsu w/stones & oil to get an additional $10 off you (not worth it) plus a mandatory tip... I will not come back here again. read more

This is a good place for a message. First time me and my brother get a massage. They had a discount of $10 and original price was $40. Total you paid $30 plus you have to throw in the tip. Good massage but I'm not sure if it was worth the price. I saw other yelp review and they said it wasn't much. Going to another massage parlor so that I have something to compare to. The setting is good. Dark individual rooms with soothing music playing in the background. The women are nice. My shoulder was not bothering me until she finished "massaging" it and now it feels like I have an injury or deep tissue bruising. I had been going to another local massage spa on a regular basis for over 2 years where Lisa was my masseuse. I was sad when I found out she was no longer there. I tried other local places and the massages were not as good as the massages that I got from Lisa. A couple of months ago, I tried Top Day Spa and low and behold Lisa was there. I was over joyed. Lisa is the best. She really knows what she is doing and is a master at her craft. She is a top notched masseuse. She knows how to get the knots and kinks out of my neck, shoulders and back. When I leave after one of her massages I am so relaxed feel like a new man. I usually get a 2 hour body massage. The price is reasonable at $30.00 per hour. The rooms are clean and neat. It is quite and has a tranquil atmosphere where you are able to relax and enjoy the massage. I highly recommend Top Day Spa and I will continue to go here as long as Lisa is here. Top Day Spa is a Top Notch Massage Spa. Last night I went back to Top Day Spa for my massage with Lisa. I didn't have a reservation and Lisa was booked up. She referred me to another masseuse named May. She said I will be happy with the quality of her massage. May was very good and has strong hands. She too was able to work the knots and kinks out of my neck, shoulder and back. From now on May will be my go to masseuse whenever Lisa is not available. I always read in different reviews when people say that if they can leave 0 stars, they would. I never thought I would think the same for any establishment, but I do now. The massage itself was alright... I've had better elsewhere. When it was time to pay with my card she asked me if I was going to leave a tip on the card and I said that I have cash for tip(I don't like to leave the tip on the card). After I paid, I give $5 (all I have in cash). She got so mad and said "that's all? Did u not like the massage?" and I said "yes, but that's all I have in cash", she says "well people usually tip $10 and this is not enough".. I was like "wow, you're forcing me to pay you $10 for the massage? So it'll cost me $50 at the end. So you guys should just say that it'll be $50 since you're forcing it.".. And she kept going at it with me, so I just walk away and leave because there's no way I'm going to be arguing with her over that. I'm so upset that I want to go back and get my $5 because either way she didn't want them. She doesn't deserve a $5 tip with that attitude!!!
